I called to place a delivery order for ~80 sandwiches for an event that next day. I had called another Jimmy John's a few days prior just to ask a few questions since i'd never placed a catering order with them before, and the employees I talked to seemed pretty short with me. They did answer my questions, but I didn't really want to call them again for the actual order. The employees I talked to at this location were simply nice and provided great customer service. They got my order in after the lunch rush and the manager who took my order even made sure to ask if it would be tax exempt (it was, thank you bc i wouldn't have thought to ask!!). I am a frequent JJ customer all over the state . I have visited this location multiple times. The customer service, cleanliness and efficiency are not up to JJ standards. In the 25 waiting for my sandwich to be made I saw 4 people walk out after 10 minutes due to no service or greeting. 2 others waited 15 minutes for order to be taken. While I was sitting there frustrated , I counted 4 sandwiches were in front of me. Normally a sandwich will take 5 and at most 10 minutes. Completely unacceptable. I will go to a drive through lane nearby in the future and will avoid this location all together. Much better options for price and service. read more

First time trying JJ. I found the value on point. I got the Vito #5, two mixed meat Italian hoagie. The bread was soft and delicious, albeit ice cold. I would like at least room temperature. The staff was fast and friendly. My sandwich came out in about 2 minutes. The meats were light but of a good portion, and the fillings were fresh. I won't mention where I like better because Yelp has been deleting reviews lately if you mention a competitor under the content guidline violation of promoting that business. I've been a huge Jimmy John fan for many years. #1 They have the freshest bread out of any sub shop. I love the smell and taste of it. #2 They really are freaky fast. #3 They deliver to quite a few places including my house after I had my daughter. This is the slowest store I have ever been to. If the slogan is subs so fast why did I do a mobile order at 6:43 and get to the store at 7:03 and they haven't even started my order. I count at least 5 people working in the store. I see why this store was closed down for a while. Do yourself a favor and just drive to the NB one or any other JJ and you will get your food faster. I'm writing this review based on my overall experience spanning the last year. Typically this Jimmy Johns is one of those places that you can order and pick up without worry that they left a portion of your order off. At some point over the last month and a half that has changed and they have left two items off my orders over the last two visits. The first was a cookie, the second was a bag of chips... so now I will need to start checking the order before I leave the store. Took over an hour to deliver! The girl I spoke with over the phone was rude and didn't even try to fix the issue. I demanded her cancel my order and refund me, she said she would. Don't order here. The order is never correct and when you try to call to speak with the 'manager', like Brian, he is mentally incapable and will hang up on you. #7 means 0.25lb of ham with cheese, none of that ever applies when you actually receive the order. read more

I really wish I had read the reviews before going here this evening. Apparently "Day-Old-Bread" is alive and well in Schertz. I just bought two sandwiches about an hour ago and you guessed it, the bread was hard. When I called to complain the guy answering the phone offered to remake the order. I told him the 18 mile round trip was hardly worth it. He made no attempt to rectify my trouble and expense. Lesson learned, don't eat there. Disappointment is all but guaranteed. read more

If I could put a 'NO Star' I would due to the fact they do not deliver, or so that say, more than .5 miles away. You are KNOWN for your freaky fast delivery... give me a break. I normally don't take time to bash a Resturant, but after two separate incidents with this "Jimmy Johns" location, I felt I should voice about how horrible their customer service is. From the manger to the young lady who answered the call both were trash! Hot garbage!! They pride them self on have fast delivery, but particular resturant seems to refrain from that practice. The first time I came to this schertz location I had my order taken by a bunch of kids who were rude and messed it up. When the girl gave me my change she threw it making it fall everywhere as the other kids working laughed. After this I waited a week to go by at a different time when hopefully adults would be working. Thankfully there was. The guy was super nice and fast. The past 2 times I've been to this jimmy johns, something has gone wrong. The first thing that I am not impressed by is their horrible service. Jimmy johns is well known for being "freaky fast" yet I was the only one waiting in front of the cash register for about 10 minutes. They had been making online orders, but they didn't even reassure me that they would serve me when they were available. It was like I was a ghost. The second time I went here (today) I simply ordered a Vito, and they put mayo all over it. Last time I checked, the Vito doesn't have mayo on it, and it ruined the taste of the sandwich. They don't care about giving you fresh bread if they mess up, because they want to save money. This is by far the worst jimmy johns I have been to, and I don't plan on coming here again. read more

I recommend you don't try to order for delivery if you live further than 1.5 miles away! I called to place an order, but was told I lived outside the delivery area, literally 1.6 miles from the closest location according to their website. I had to give the guy that answered to phone my street address 3 times and we're both in the same city... right off the same highway they're located on. When I asked to speak to a manager I got attitude from the employee. When the manager got on the phone I told him I was only about 3 minutes away he said there was nothing he could do and started giving me attitude, as well. When I attempted to speak he told me to take it up with the corporate office and hung up on me!
