Roast Beef and Turkey Sandwich... with... all the normal toppings. Kickin' Ranch on the side.

I never really came to this Jimmy John's partly because I usually eat sandwiches near where I work, never really thought to come here on the weekends, and partly because of the tepid reviews this place had. However, during COVID times and working from home, I've frequented this Jimmy Johns and it's been really excellent! My wife always orders online and I go and pick it up. It has literally always been ready when they say they are (my wife uses the app or their website to tell when it's done). So, when I step in there, I quickly glance at the available bags on their to-go shelf, grab mine, and peace out. It's always super easy! Despite that awkwardness - the apparent dine-and-dash kind of thing - the employees have always been super great. They're attentive... apparently checking if I'm finding what I need. They greet me in a friendly way. They tell me to have a nice day. What more could I ask for?! The sandwiches are solid in my opinion. I used to go to Potbelly quite often - which is near where I work. Potbelly is just a different experience. Jimmy Johns always hits the spot when I need a cold sandwich. Their bread is amazing (I always get the white one). One highlight is their ranch - "Kickin' Ranch". It's like.. ranch... that's a little spicy (surprise!). Seriously, so good! I usually get that instead of mayonnaise. The meat is always a good proportion - though when the sandwich gets too moist - like with Mayo and oil and everything - it can slop around a bit. Can't really fault anyone for that, though. =P

    This is a great sandwich

This jimmy's John's has been discontinued items like the Jimmy John's mustard the Kickin ranch sauce. I order this sub and coke online and I picked it up and I took it home and I realize that they forgot to put my Coke in the bag

Um...that's not French bread that my Beach Club is on...

I was really, really hoping for a better experience at Jimmy John's. I've heard rave reviews dating back to my days at UW in the mid-2000s and yet never tried one of their sandwiches while I lived in Seattle. I even tried looking them up when I moved to San Diego but discovered that there isn't one within 40 miles of my house. I was surprised when I found out that this location had recently opened in Snohomish and immediately added it to the list of must-have food while I was visiting my hometown. Why oh why can you not follow simple instructions? I used the online form to order the Beach Club with no cucumbers and added Jimmy mustard. I made no other changes to the sandwich and my receipt clearly stated what I ordered. My sandwich was wrapped and ready to go when I arrived 15 minutes later. It wasn't until I got home that I discovered it was on sliced wheat bread instead of the French sub roll that I was expecting. I grabbed my receipt to confirm and sure enough it clearly says French bread. Ugh! I'm not a big fan of wheat bread but I decided to just make due with it instead of driving the 20 minute round trip back into town. The sandwich was okay but I just felt deflated after being so excited to try it and then having my expectations crushed by not receiving what I had ordered. If only Jimmy John's could have gotten my bread right, I may have been writing a very different review. So here's the lesson: Be sure to check your online order before leaving the restaurant to make sure you get what you order! Update 8/23/16: I received a phone call from the manager after I posted my review. He left a voice mail to apologize for the mix up and offered a $10 credit. I appreciate the gesture and hope to return and try again.

I had been there a few times before and had always enjoyed it, so I was actually the one raving to my friend about how good the place was and suggesting we go there. We spent around $65 on our order, and I even left a generous tip. While waiting for our food, we asked if we could sit at one of the many empty tables since the restaurant was only about half full. We were told by who I believe was the owner that we could not sit at a table because they were "running food" and it made things too difficult, and instead were told to sit on the bench by the door. The problem was the bench was already full, so we were left standing there waiting for our order with nowhere to sit. Honestly, it was embarrassing after I had talked the place up so much to my friend. It was disappointing because there were plenty of empty tables available and we were paying customers simply waiting for our food. The interaction felt unnecessarily unwelcoming and left a bad impression.

Tried this spot for a weekday lunch and had a pretty good experience overall!…read more I went for the salad bar. It was decent and definitely filling. As a vegetarian, my protein option was pesto tofu, while the other options were salmon and tuna. They had all the usual greens and vegetables, and everything was served cold. There were a few in house dressings along with some store bought ones. I tried the balsamic vinaigrette and a honey ginger dressing. It was good, but I think it could be better. My husband ordered the pesto tofu sandwich with Moroccan soup, and that was the highlight. The sandwich was delicious, and his only regret was not getting the full size. The soup was also really flavorful. The place itself feels cozy. The food came out quickly, and we finished everything in no time. Parking is street parking, which might be tricky, especially on weekends. Overall, a good experience. I would definitely come back to try more sandwiches or burgers, but I would probably skip the salad bar next time.

Wow, what a god send of a bakery! A complete GF bakery?!?! Yayyyy!!…read more I am so excited when I found out they make vegan, dairy free pastries. Double checked...Dairy free means no milk, cream, yogurt, butter etc. so I look for labels that says DV, V. Everything is automatically certified gluten free and there is no worry on cross contamination. They don't use run of the mill commercial grade high gluten flour the website tells all. There's also paleo, keto options. As someone who hasn't been eating butter based pastries due to doctor's orders, this bakery is like finding gold. Our favorite after 2 visits are their vegan dairy free sea salt chocolate chunk cookie, their classic GF big chocolate chip cookie, vegan dairy free banana macadamia nut muffin, and my absolute favorite is their dairy free vegan sweet strawberry scone (with rhubarb, flax and coconut). I typically find scones to be bland and dry. Not these! I enjoyed these so much they were so moist and delicious but what I love most is the chewy bits on the edge. My hubby is a chocolate fiend but he usually get sluggish and sick to his stomach after inhaling a large chocolate pastry from other bakery. He ate their large size classic chocolate chip cookie and it didn't bother him. Tasted amazing too! Their sourdough is one of a kind. It's piping hot and available on a daily basis while supplies last. Nobody offers gluten free artisan sourdough fresh out of the oven on a walk in basis. It stayed hot for hours after I brought it home because it was such a dense dough. When I think about how much more time and work went into these special loaves (not mass produced) and loaded with nutrition, the $23.50 is worth it! The sourdough is super moist if you don't toast it there's almost a slight tacky feel to it. Once toasted, it is the best artisan toast eating experience. This am, I enjoyed an open faced peanut butter and blackberry jam toast. Appreciate also they provide on the package specific care instructions for the best experience. For the price, I made sure we wash our hands and did all the suggested prep needed. My only critique would be transparency on pricing in store and on website. It was mildly shocking when the register total was in the $80 range after 2 sourdough loaves and 6 pastries before tip. After eating it, we realized it's actually worth every penny. Good at a different level. Maybe if they have a daily special would be nice to bring in more people? Well, we will come back regardless! Love this new bakery find!!

I liked this place. It would be on my list of places to walk into when I am in the area. A variety…read moreof baked goods, drinks, offerings. Upon entering, i immediately noticed baked goods display and the drink menu. The case was filled with a bunch of interesting types of baked goods. On top of the rose cardamom latte, brioche tart and cardamom twist. We also got a savory scone and another item that escapes me. I enjoyed the savory scone the most. It had chives and bacon amongst other things. Great texture and not too dry. The brioche tart was a meal all on its own. Heavy and will put you to sleep. The cheese I think that was in there was gruyere but I could be wrong. I enjoyed it but definitely will splooge out if you down eat it on a plate with utensils. Eventually it does get monotonous for me. Recommend sharing it. Cardamom twist was the least favorite item. I'm not sure what it was but there was an essence of something in the background that threw the flavor off for me. I can't seem to describe it. The twist was slightly doughy/stodgy for me. Maybe part of an off batch. I typically do like cardamom centered things. This wasn't my favorite is all I can say. One suggestion I would hope gets implemented is cost of goods displayed for each item. I can say I was surprised at the total during check out. I do go to a lot of bakeries, cafes and artisanal shops. I always felt more at ease knowing what I was getting into from a financial standpoint. Tip is to look at their discounted items. They are a steal. They also have a rewards program that gets you a drink with every new sign up paired with a purchase I wish I had known prior to purchase as I was only able to spot signage at the register.

We stopped in for brunch and I got my usual tarragon chicken sandwich and he got the chicken friend steak. I got water and he had asked for a Snohomish Coffee, which included alcohol, to which the waitress repeated "Snohomish Coffee", but he received a regular drip coffee. Neither of us were upset and didn't ask for a correction as it was busy and a simple oversight. When I ordered my sandwich, I asked for the pasta salad as my side and a side salad to add on. When my meal arrived, the pasta salad was replaced with the salad which, again, was fine and I didn't bring it up to the waitress - she seemed overwhelmed by the amount of people in the restaurant. When the bill came, I had noticed a $4.25 charge for the salad and asked about the amount. I told the waitress that I hadn't received my pasta salad, emphasizing that this was totally okay, I was more confused about the price. On the menu, it notes that side salad substitutions are $3.00, not $4.25. She informed me this was her first day, and as someone who worked in the industry for many years, I completely understood. She said she would ask and came back saying the price was correct but they hadn't updated prices on the menu yet. This didn't sit too well with me, but I left it as to not go back and forth. After all, the waitress doesn't control prices. However, if a price is posted, that's what should be on the ticket, whether it's been updated or not. The nail in the coffin for me was after I paid in cash, I thanked the waitress twice. She not only stopped making eye contact with me after the price incident, she said not a word either. No "thank you", no "thanks for coming in", not any acknowledgement of my existence. She put the change on the table and walked away. Again, as someone who has worked in the industry, when something (like prices) is out of my control, I still would apologize for the confusion or misunderstanding, and try to make things right or at least have the customer leave with some sort of sense of resolution. That was not attempted. I loved this place for years but unfortunately after today's interaction, I am not confident I will be back.
