Fantastic service, I needed to hem my NYE dress super last minute (as in, I started inquiring on the evening of 12/29) and Jimmy not only replied to my Yelp message ASAP but also had the most affordable pricing out of the 15+ shops I sent messages to. Nothing in a negative way but I seen reviews here and thought Id give this place a try. Service was great but the product wasnt on point. I had brought in two pair of chinos needing alterations ($7) which is affordable. I feel these days most places rush now. Upon picking up my pants, it is my fault for not trying them before leaving but couldnt because I didnt want to be late for work. On one pair the right pant is longer than the other and the other pair is the opposite. Other than a large wrinkle at the leg opening. Another thing is he wont taper them if the waist is too wide. I know other places can and will taper my pants regardless of the waist size. I had dropped a lot of body fat and slimmed down a lot. I didnt see what the issue was if I were okay having them tapered. I wont be returning. Im sure he would have no issue fixing them for me, but I had already left the store. It would be my fault. But definitely not returning either way. This alteration service was not for me. Maybe it can be for you. read more

LIFE SAVER. I was recommended this place by my friend. I was skeptical because I've had some bad tailor experiences. I needed a zipper replaced on a pair of high waisted pants I bought. The original zipper kept getting stuck leaving me literally stuck in them. I bought the pants to this place. They matched the color of the pants and asked me to pick the metal finish I wanted and quoted me a price. $10! To replace a zipper! I was ecstatic. The pants were done in 3 days and I have gotten so many compliments. I WILL be coming back to have some jeans tailored and fixed. One thing to know : they do cash only. Smart people. read more

I needed a quick tailor to hem my scrub pants and was glad to see this one was one of the nearest ones in my area. They got two done within a day and did a solid clean job. The owners were nice and it was only $5 per pants. It's best to call ahead to see their hours just in case it changes around the holidays. I called ahead to find out they were still closed for vacation and would return to open the next day. I've been going to Jimmy for about a year now. And up to this point it's been to get my pants hemmed. And I must admit he's a master at this task. I, however, made the mistake of thinking Jimmy could sew the liner of my blazer. In his defense he did sew the liner...the problem is he unstitched the armpit to get to the part he needed to fix and did not sew it back in place. I explained this to him while picking up my blazer and Jimmy and his wife did not take accountability for what they did. My second problem is that Jimmy informed me I could pick up Wednesday, May 22, as I needed to take my pants and blazer to the dry cleaner for a wedding this weekend. I went to pick up today Thursday, May 23 and his wife informed me that order was to be picked up Friday, May 24. In short, Jimmy and his wife were quite a disappointment today. Had they taken accountability and fixed the problem rather than denying what had transpired my review would be completely different. Sucks to disappoint Jimmy! I'll be taking the blazer and my business elsewhere. read more

I just got new slacks for my graduation and I want it to be altered so it wouldn't look to long on me and I'm so glad I found this place! Service: Super fast! It only probably took me 5 minutes overall in the store. Told him how I like it and that's it done. Two days later and my slacks looked great. Parking: There's a lot of spaces to park at. This place is good for basic hems . It is reasonable and quick. HOWEVER NOT FOR COMPLEX WORK LIKE A WEDDING GOWN. We were reccomended to this alteration shop for a wedding gown. Dress needed to be shortened and a bustle made. Unfortunately it went all wrong. Had to take gown last minute to another place Northridge Cleaners on Reseda. They did amazing quick work. The hem was still too long and was not even. The bustle left the dress dragging on the slides. Northridge shortened the dress overnight. Jimmy should have sent us away. They really aren't cut out for that type of work. When it comes to a wedding gown go to someone who does wedding alterations on a regular basis. read more

Very happy with Jimmy's work! The neckline of my sweater was quite literally hanging by a thread. I sent him a picture of it to see if he could fix it and give me a price estimate. He offered me a very reasonable quote, quite a bit cheaper than other places I had reached out to. I dropped off the sweater on Tuesday evening and it was done by Friday afternoon.
