First time going to get tailor services and I'm so glad I tried Francis and Estela here! I called ahead in case they requested appointment and they told me to just come in. At first when looking on yelp, I was a little skeptical that this place had only 2 x 5-star reviews, but I'm so glad I came! Because this is my first experience, I had low expectations and just thought I had to show them what kind of alterations I wanted. What I wanted: (For reference I'm 5'2") - simple hem on my black satin pants from Zara (about 3-4 inches) to be a tad longer than my feet so that they still cover my heel when I wear heels - Dissh "midi" dress: 2 things - 1) to be hemmed at length above my ankles- actual appropriate length for a midi dress and 2) to use extra fabric to make cross cross adjustable straps. - floral dress from Revolve: shorten the shoulders so the sleeves stay up. Add elastic so they can be flexible to put on and move around in it. Francis had me try on everything so we can agree visually what I wanted. He provided feedback and I was receptive to it as I believe in his 20+ years experience! With all the alterations they came out to $95. I wasn't surprised at the cost as I wanted to wait til I see the final results. I came in on a Saturday and he said this would be ready by following Thursday which worked for me. Unfortunately I couldn't pick up my clothes when ready, so I wasn't able to use the yelp check in offer. But for a small business, I don't have an issue because the end results were better than I expected! I'm so happy with them I am ready to take the tags off and not return them to store! They feel like dresses tailored to me :) literally. read more

So I just randomly tried this spot and I am glad I did. The gentleman was attentive and friendly. I normally don't have my clothes dry cleaned so I let y'all be the judge to see if it was a good price or not. I paid 6.50 (I think) for each dress shirt and same price for a dress pants. I think that was a good price. I did two sports jackets and that was $13 dollars each. They removed the stains it had on them. Plus they text you when your clothes are ready. I did not need the clothes to be done the same day but they still finished it before the date they told me. I would continue to come here. read more

I brought in several items (jeans, trousers, dresses) needing all kinds of alterations and they all came out seamlessly! Francis and Estella did an incredible job, and they were very kind and patient with me. I have the issue with jeans/pants where I have to size up 1-2 sizes to fit my thighs/butt but then the waist is huge, so I need it taken in. Not all the brands I love offer "curvy" jeans, so I needed a great tailor, and FM Alterations was an amazing find. I brought in dress pants + dresses from Aritzia, trousers from DISSH, a pair of thick wool trousers from Sezane, and a few pairs of Reformation jeans. They all came out perfectly! As soon as I tried on my newly tailored clothes, I brought Francis another pile of jeans to tailor. The prices were very reasonable too. This place deserves more reviews! Needed my suit jacket's sleeves hemmed. I also needed my pants shortened a bit. I was in a rush to get them done within 2 days, and a lot of places didn't have that kind of turnaround I needed. Fortunately, FM was quick with it! I brought my things in at 4:30pm on a Monday; they promised it would be done at 5pm the next day.
