There is a reason why there are so many cars parked here in the parking lot of Jimmy's automotive I brought my 2003 Chevrolet Corvette here to have some work done on it they were really good and efficient had to replace water pump and fan Tim did that project while another one of his mechanics found a leak in one of my tires took it upon his self to patch the leak was very impressed of overall efficiency it kind of reminds me when you see a restaurant full of cars the food must be good when you find a mechanic shop with cars parked outside the boundary something must be good read more

This is not an in and out quick repair shop. Tim the owner is a true master mechanic and WILL fix whatever is wrong with your vehicle. While I'm not a mechanic, I've been working on cars for years, but I know my limitations and at this point in my life, I just don't have the time to deal car issues. Between myself, my wife and my kids, we have everything from a Mercedes to a Hyundai and I bring everything to Tim. Not only will he fix it, but he will give an amazingly fair price to do it. As an example, my daughter's Hyundai Tucson needed a harmonic balancer replaced. She made the mistake of bringing it in the America's Service Station and they wanted over $600 to repair it. Knowing what I do about cars, I thought this was pretty high, so I took it to Jimmy's and Tim had it fixed quickly and for a little over $200. That's an amazing difference! When I told the other place how much it cost, they said they could never have done it for that. Don't mess around, great mechanics are hard to find and one's as nice and give as fair a price as Tim and his wife Leslie do are impossible to find! read more

I don't usually review mechanics since I do all my own work, but late last year I had a car that really stumped me and I sent it to Jimmy's after hearing a few good recommendations about them. Since then I've sent four people to them that I was either too busy to get to or didn't want to fool with and they all have praised the job they received. Tim, the owner and master mechanic, is an honest, fair, and dedicated guy who wants to make sure you're happy no matter what. He's never too busy to talk to you face to face and will never dismiss you or your diagnosis no matter how silly or foolish you may sound (people do come up with dumb things to suggest for a cause, symptom, or fix). Their prices are fair, work is guaranteed, and they're willing to work with you in the tightest of timeframes. From an oil change to an engine overhaul they're my backup for when I don't have the time or patience to do the job myself. read more

Had our 89 Toyota with only 139,678 miles on it now for 5 months. It was hesitating and needed a new fan n wires. This car I swear to you is in excellent condition, bought it from old couple that only drove to grocery shopping n church then it was garaged. I have NEVER heard of or had a car in the shop for this long in my life.. it's still there and all we get is "We'll I'm having a little trouble with the wiring or something else" There's good reviews on here but I'm thinking they're all made up cause if he works like this all the time nobody would have their cars and thank God we have used of my mother's car or we'd be shit outta luck!!!!!! We're going to just get it tomorrow n we've got to tow it to another shop then so be it, at least it'll be fixed in a timely manner not 5 - 7 months from now!!!! We dropped off August 2017 n today it's January 4, 2018... what would you do?? DO NOT GO HERE I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!! Update: It's 1/9/18 and still no car, owner was suppose to call 2 nights ago and never did. I'm calling in a few minutes and will give another update. Terrible experience........ All estimates end up being $100 or more than quoted. I have brought 2 different vehicles here over the last 3 months. One car, I had a radiator repair and other work done. Within 2 weeks of getting the car back, it was running hot within 10 mins of driving it. Called Leslie the receptionist to speak with Tim the mechanic....never could get him on the phone or get a call back. after several calls Leslie said that I would have to pay a wrecker to bring my car to them and they would look at my car then. Wow, imagine that...I have to pay even more $75.-$100. Talk about INSULTING. And no guarantee that issue would be fixed for free. So, I had a certified mechanic check out the car. He stated that the thermostat wasn't changed when the radiator was replaced, which should have been. The cooling fan wasn't bolted back correctly which caused it to vibrate and cause it to hit and scrape the new radiator eventually melting part of causing it not to turn at all. I am now out additional money to fix a problems...that should have been taken care of in the beginning. I rate them a zero actually for poor work and terrible customer service. read more
