Best breakfast anywhere! Pancakes, eggs, Bacon... can't beat the food or the service!

Breakfast here is necessary with my little girl on the weekends. Pancakes are fluffy, bacon is fresh and not greasy, eggs are perfect however you want them. The monte cristo is better then the big diner down the blocks! I usually get a western omelet with homefries and bacon. Always made perfect! read more

Went here this morning with hubby and 8 month old son. The place is small and it was packed , and I did not see a highchair so I was a little nervous that maybe they weren't children friendly,not even close to that they rushed out with a high chair and said family is what they are all about :) I had the sausage gravy and biscuits ~so darn yummy !!!! Hubby had crepes with banana and nutella and he said very good also. The menu looks great and we will be back to try the Eggs Benedict's. It is a cash place so know that going in is great . Food is awful. This place sucks. I wouldn't recommend this place to a starving person

Came out from Brooklyn for the weekend and couldn't help but eat everything on the menu. The food was fantastic, the service was friendly and quick, and the coffee was addictive. Jimmy's really brought an at-home feel and great food to the table. So happy to have found the place off Montaulk Highway. Reminds me of Tom's Restaurant in Brooklyn - great prices, fast and friendly service, and chocolate chip pancakes!! read more

Love the great food and the staff. Linda, Donna and Alba each give great personal service and it quickly feels like a place where you can be a regular. This is the opposite of the chain restaurants where getting you in and moving you on is the goal. The wide selection of food and the home cooked specials keep us coming back multiple times a week. If you want to feel at home when eating breakfast you have to try this place this place is known for it. You name it all made fresh right in front of you can get a little crowded but what does that say other then the best food for your money.. Can walk out with a full stomach and it won't hurt your pocket service is real friendly.. I've never been more disappointed , I've been going to jimmy's diner for the last 4 years on average about 3 to 4 times a month with my boyfriend. I have a disability that caused me to have no saliva which I've been dealing with for the past 10 years. I carry water with me where ever I go it is my lifeline, I cant swallow or speak without it.. We went into Jimmy's today at 1:30 pm for lunch. We sat down and the waitress said to me my boss said you cannot have that water in here and at first I just looked at her and didn't know what to say, then I said I always have my water with me because I have no saliva (medical condition) she told me the same thing again so we asked to speak to her(Linda) I was already uncomfortable. So linda came over and said she started this policy about bringing beverages into her place about 6 months ago which if that's true then at least 4 or 5 times that I've been in there in the last 6 months they never said nothing to me. Linda said people bring in starbucks coffee and other drinks and I told her that I always have my water where ever I go I had cancer and now have no saliva and she said well we have tap water and I told her I don't drink tap water then she said we have bottled water and I said I already have a bottle of water. I understand that business' don't like other things being brought in but this is a medical necessity and I think she was being rude and rediculous. My boyfriend told her if your not going to accomodate us were leaving and linda said "really" like we were the stupid ones. So we told her you just lost 2 good customers, but that's not even true because everyone we know that goes there will no longer being eating there either. She made me feel like a piece of crap and she is a very rude person and she needs to learn how to deal with people with disabilities especially if she want's to run a business. Linda is someone we always talked with when we ate there. It was very embarrassing and uncomfortable and I would never even consider going in there again, she should be ashamed of herself. I will contact the ADA so this will never happen again. read more
