I stopped here for breakfast with my brother on a Friday morning. I ordered the Combo Number 2 with two eggs, bacon, home fries, and two pancakes for $7.99. This is a very good price for what you get here. The bacon was done just right. I learned afterwards that you have to ask for onions in the home fries if you want them. Overall, the breakfast was very good and I'll be happy to stop here again sometime. read more

I never knew this place existed, but when we were out at 3am looking for food after a night of fun, I'm glad my friend knew exactly where to go. We walked in and there were a few people there. They said we got there at a good time because it was just extremely packed. This 24/7 diner houses a number of booths. There looked to be a back area but it was closed off. They had a pretty extensive menu, but we were here for breakfast. I ordered steak and eggs which came with home fried. The steak was done perfectly. My friend got the chicken fried steak and eggs which also came with home fires. I liked gravy that came with it. My other friend got sausage, bacon, eggs, and home fries. They enjoyed their food as well. I liked the fact that our food came out quickly and we were server very quickly. The food was good and I appreciate them being available. This is our favorite breakfast places. 4 of us (one a child) go there every other Sunday. The child orders waffles or pancakes which she says are good. We adults order omelets of which there is a variety of different kinds. The best!!!!! I read some of the reviews where people said the place was dirty... well I wouldn't eat there if it was. It's clean. The wait staff had better be on their toes since the owner sits in his office up high overlooking the eating area. We've been going there for 2 yrs every other Sunday and have yet to have a problem. Always good food. I wonder if the bad reviews are from people who just have a bug up their butt and want to get even. Always try a place yourself. As for the homefries the waitress should ask if you want onion, ours always asks. We go on Sundays and always have the same friendly and efficient waitress. She doesn't even ask how we want our coffee anymore.... she just brings it and knows how we like it. The prices are more reasonable than some of the other breakfast places in the area. So I've been going to Jim's since 1999 when I drove a tractor-trailer on a dedicated account out of Buffalo. We used to pick up our trucks and three or four of us would head to Jim's for breakfast at 3am. The waitress would bring us a carafe of coffee and we'd order. Then eat and get on the road. But I'd also go to Jim's for the breakfast choices with my girlfriend. The omelettes are huge, and if you eat one at 9am you won't be eating lunch that day. Foods all fresh and good quality. The club sandwich is made of carved Turkey, not sliced. Burgers are decent and huge. So this is a truck stop restaurant. That means the biggest thing they concentrate is on the food and the service. There's usually a sign telling you to seat yourself. The dining room is two parts, and in the morning it can get busy. But they get the food out promptly. They have a separate dining room where you can smoke. If you're alone you won't feel out of place. In short food is good, service is quick restrooms can vary depending on time of day and use. read more

HORRIBLE! Always drove past here but never stopped. We had to leave early for a trip and that was the only place open that time. So I gave it a one star for that and the waitress was very nice. The food was over and beyond greasy. The home fries under cooked and my toast swam in butter. I always thought that truck stops had the best food! Not this one! It was in need of updating. The place was dark and depressing. Bathrooms were not clean either. A creepy man was mopping the floor while we were trying to eat. Literally mopping under our table and next to us! STAY AWAY. Place is literally a truck stop, so don't expect 3 Michelin starred decor. Food is consistently great, though admittedly, I only ever order either the standard diner brekkie (eggs, bacon, hash browns) or, more often, the corned beef hash (the delicious kind you probably grew up with that one can get out of a huge #10 can). read more

About once every two weeks I meet someone here to give them some baked goods. It's sort of a half way point. The pumps are ok, there is one that's too close to the building for ease. The others are fine. I think there are eight, maybe more on the other side for trucks, not sure. It's a truck stop place, so expect plenty of those. And associated noise. A-OK. read more

The people that work there are very nice but the food was awful. The desert case had black mold in it and was filthy on top of that. We bought showers,($10.00) and ive never seen anything so filthy in my life. There was black mold in the shower as well and i don't mean a spot here or there, feces on the toilet seat and filth in in sink with a few pubes in it for an extra nice touch. We came here on Mothers Day and it was absolutely terrible . We walked in and they said we could not be seated because of how many guests we had. Last time we came to Jim's Truck stop they said we were allowed to sit together as long as we sat at different tables. I've been there to eat before I worked there for one day, I've never seen anyone clean including the day that I worked there. They let customer sit at sticky tables, I've heard people complaining about mold and the smell of piss in the bathrooms for the truckers. I seen a guy come in to take a shower after sitting in his truck and driving for hours and hours and five minutes later he came out put the key on the table mentioned to one of the waitresses how disgusting their bathroom was and said he was leaving to go elsewhere and wanted his money back. It was freaking hilarious. But if I were you and I was a trucker I would not go here to take care of your personal hygiene because you'll probably get dirtier going in there then you would going in there to shower and get clean. read more

There's something sketchy about this plaza, but I liked the gas station. They have those pump handle stoppers and it's easy to get in and out of here, since there's a traffic light at the driveway. I don't know why anyone would use the bathrooms here when there are several other places around that are newer and no doubt cleaner. Weird. Rude staff, bland food, and a dirty run down location. First of all, let's be honest. The food at jims really isn't that good, extremely over rated. The food is extremely simple and bland with little flavor. You're better off eating at Dennys. Now you could look over the bland simple food you can easily make at home for the fact that the place is one of very few around open 24hr. But sadly the staff is extremely rude especially the old overnight waiter with body language and a demeanor like she was either drunk or on/coming down from some drug. She's also racist. Had an incident where she was extremely rude because she assumed me and my friend didn't speak English. When she didn't get forgiveness after hounding and harassing us for it she refused us service and ripped the menus from our hands aggressively and made us leave. And looking at Google reviews, it looks like jims has developed a bad habit with their employees being rude. The building and parking lot is EXTREMELY run down. The parking lot doesn't even have pot holes.....it has moon crators and fox holes. A small car could fall in one. The bathrooms are dirty. They don't let truckers leave their trucks unattended and give them a hard time. Gas station staff are rude. I went in to go use the restroom before fueling up or grabbing a bite to eat. The restroom smelled awful as if it hasn't been cleaned in 6 months or so and as if someone walked around pissing on the walls because any step I took in any direction it just simply reeked with the aroma of old piss. I came out and changed my mind to eat thinking that if that's what kind of careless hygiene the cleaners have then the cooks and waitresses are not far off from a like minded mentality. I changed my mind to fuel up as well. Because i would rather pay at a station where I can use the restroom in reasonable comfort. This place was so weird... Lol. Randomly went there on a saturday morning it seemed dinerish so i figured why not. It literally is so dirty in there! I kept in open mind after im already seated but took about 12 minutes for someone to aknowledge us and there was probably only 4 other tables with people at them and like 10 waitresses sitting around so that was cool... Then we order food i originally wanted breakfast then switched to lunch last minute..i was already skeptical of the place so i figured i should play it safe and got a turkey sandwich.. I asked if tomato came on it because she had the menus in her hand at this point wanted to make sure before she walked away and i wanted them on my wrap.. She told me we dont so substitutions but i can see if it comes on there.... Lolol like hunny its not a 5 star restuarnt with a chef and meal plan it was a damn turkey sandwich like can you slap some tomato on there for me. Then i got some soup it came out with the sandwich which i thought was weird since i asked for it as like an opener cause i was starving.. But okay! It is what it is I guess. When you have been on the move for hrs days etc. anywhere with Fuel food coffee & showers is a welcome site. But gotta say jims ain't so bad foods good, coffees good and strong, clean facilities always a good thing in my book. Don't know all the staff I do know that personally I like the 2ed/3rd shift girls, I'd say most all of the servers are on point but I believe there names are Robin and sherry at night they are awesome! They will say both of them especially Robin have gone above and beyond out of their way for myself and others to make sure they have everything they need the way they want it. Food and other wise. Dunno that's it guy can't think of what else to say. Jim doesn't own "Jims Truck Stop" and I assume whoever does own this rat hole has a plan for shutting it down soon. This hole in the wall place has truck parking...thats it! yes if you want to risk trash in your fuel, dieses in the bathroom then sure go ahead. Out of 4 urinals in the men's bathroom 1 sort of works. It reeks of sewage. Out of 4 toilets 2 seem to be working however I wouldn't dare set my ass on that infestation. The showers all reek of mold as evidenced by the black and green mold. Faulty light fixtures and all dacore from 1975 In the greasy spoon kitchen they won't sell you a salad bar. But that's just as well saved me from catching something else. the Pilot Travel center as bad as many of them are is better than this crap hole. Moving 20 miles up the road to the Pilot. Don't worry a- holes whoever owns this dump I won't be back. You might get away with this in the middle-east country's but this is the United States of America you don't treat people like this here. read more
