Excellent customer service by May as soon as we came into the restaurant. She greeted us and lead us to our table within a few minutes. She asked if we have dined with them before. We informed her yes at your Santa Monica location and we weren't aware you had a location in Glendale so we thought we'd try your location out. We ordered our favorites, Rose Tteokbokki, Brisket Hot Stone and Bulgogi Hot Stone. They were all steaming hot and delicious. The servings are always plentiful. The meals are all flavorful. This is a pretty solid place to fix the Korean food craving and I love how its open until 12am on the weekends. I have been here around 11pm twice already and there are always people dining. The kimchi here is actually pretty good but I just wish they had more for their banchan spread. The service here is always quick, they refill the banchans as well. My favorite to order is the kalguksu. I'm not sure if they hand pull those noodles but they are pretty good and the broth it comes with is so hearty and delicious. I also tried this garlic pork dish (Garlic Suyuk) which was enough to split between two hungry people. It did not come with rice though so it had to be ordered separate. It was thinly cut and rich in flavor. It has some beef both broth but I wish there were more as it paired so well with the rice. Prices are reasonable for the location. Perfect sweetness to the marinade, nice balance of fat, and laid out over onions so it never gets overcooked or stuck to the cast iron skillet that it's served on. Marinated dumplings - these come out hothothot, so be careful diving in! Nice level of spicy for a sort of spice wuss like me. These are really pleasant. Sweet and chewy in a delightful way. Garlic Suyuk - nice, but not special. It was nicer the more sauce you dipped it in. We struggled to care about it tho. Cheese katsu & sweet potato katsu - I loved the sweet potato katsu. Good amount of cheese and you could actually taste the sweet potato. They were out of the pumpkin, which we would have loved to compare it to.
