The room was pretty private in comparison to other places I have been. I tried the hour "foot" massage for $25. Kinda hard to beat that price. So it started with a head massage, that part wasn't ideal. I'm not a fan of a lot of pressure on my scalp. Then the foot massage happened. I was nervous Bc it was a male who was massaging me (they typically hurt) but it was the best foot massage I've had in quite some time. That last most of the massage but he did run my back with oil as well. Can't really complain for $25. Worth a try. read more

Torture massages...the masseuse was completely incompetent. No matter how hard you go on a bone or cartilage, it is not going to relax. Bone and cartilage is not supposed to relax...if it does something has gone seriously wrong. The umm "massage" was very painful and i regret not leaving after 20 min. She even rubbed the bottom of my arms...where the veins are, not the muscles, and it was very painful and shot up and down the nerves in my arms. Foot massage was not a real foot massage...no foot soak, and going back to the masseuse, she did not go hard enough on the muscles in the bottom of the foot to actually feel like ive had a massage. I had Anne this time and totally changed my opinion of this place! 6 months ago I wrote a one star review based on a horrible massage, but this time it was awesome! I couldn't get into the one in playa with my favorite guy, Lee, so I tried this one again and requested a different masseuse than my last visit. My son came with me to have his first foot massage. He loved his, and I loved mine. Excellent. My only negative was that there is poor sound insulation so you hear every sound around, and they happened to be doing construction next door. Not relaxing. That's why it's 4 stars and not 5. I went again and had another mediocre massage from LeLe. She concentrated on my shoulders and the arch of my feet, over and over and over and over and over again. Must have went down the arch of each foot and my shoulders a hundred times. It was not relaxing but simply irritating. She had poor technique and obviously didn't pay attention in the anatomy/muscle part of her massage training. I have had five massages here, and only one good one. read more

Before I forget to write a review; I want to thank Kevin for his excellent skill! I was so stress out, I had so many knots on my back, I'm dealing with insomnia, and feeling anxious on most days. I go to many massage parlor to help me with physically health and it had been a struggle finding that right person. I'm so thankful Kevin took his time to pinpoint my pressure points felt so relaxed that I think I fell asleep. I do not recommend this to anyone. I made a call to make reservation, while over the phone i made specific request which was not to get the massaute thats old, the lady over the phone said they have young daily young people. I got to the place, they asked me to pay first (which i was a bit surprised), but i did. When i went into the room, they said, all old people here working. I politely asked to refused to get the service and asked for refund, and lady told me no refund and persistently try to convince me to get the store credit back. Im not coming back to this place. Chinese foot massage!!!! This one is slightly pricier than others, though I'd say quality is hit or miss. Whatever you do, DO NOT LET a male get assigned to you. My first time I basically was crippled and not in a good way - I normally never tell a masseuse to lighten up and I had to tell him like 5X and it was not fun. My hubs got a woman and he was like it was so relaxing and delightful. Despite my better judgement I went back a second time, asked for a Woman only and it was actually great. For $35 you get 30 min feet and 30 min body - they don't do foot soaks here though. They usually have multiple people working so never a wait. I have to say you get what you pay for though, during my massage, my lady answered the store phone like 3 times. What can you do, it's a cheap Chinese foot massage parlor. Keily applied the right amount of pressure to my sore back, used good techniques, concentrated on my sorest parts of my back and shoulders, then followed up with hot stones. So I walked in for a one hour foot massage (they do say "walk ins welcome"). One woman told me to come back in an hour and the other said, that they could take me now. I was escorted to a room and had my feet soaking. A woman came and started to work on my neck however she and the other woman were yelling at each other - not a relaxing experience! The woman who was working on me kept saying: "30 minutes, ok?" And I kept asking for clarification as I was told I was getting a 60 minute massage. The women continued to yell at each other (while one was massaging my neck!). The one who was working on me left the room and I could hear the two yelling at each other. We got stuck with a flight change so had to kill 5/6 hours so looked around for a foot massage place! And we just loved this place in El Segundo! Alice was amazing and courteous ! The whole family got massages and they have all different times and rates to cover various needs! Clean, courteous and very reasonably priced! Pretty good massage, especially for the price. Good technique and use of the hot stones. Just be sure to speak up if they're too hot. I think the masseuse's hand get used to the heat. I only have 3 criticisms that keep it from being 5 stars. 1. There was a long wait after she initially left the room to allow me to undress (abnormally long...probably 10min). 2. She gave me a MAJOR wedgie when moving my underwear around to massage my legs. 3. It would be helpful if they had signs up asking people to keep quiet. Have been here several times since my first review. Facial was excellent...no extractions which was fine with me! Great steam and a mask that freezes solid in your face and comes off in one piece. Every time I've been here I've walked in and not had to wait at all. The foot massage is a great thing to do with a friend since they have a room with two stations and you do not need to undress. Still only 25 bucks. Facial was forty but worth it. They also have combo facial/massages and hot stone therapy for bargain prices. read more

Got an appointment as soon as I called, thank god. I woke up with the worst back pain so I was super happy, especially after reading great reviews. It's not like a luxurious hotel spa and there's no fancy robes but if you can over that, this was without a doubt the best massage I've EVER gotten and I've gotten massages all over the world.. Wow. I have given this place so many tries considering it is so close to me, and tonight they have out done themselves. First of all, don't expect them to answer the phone and understand a single word you say as they don't speak English at all. But tonight the therapist Mike clearly has never set foot in a massage class in his life. It was hands down the worst massage I have ever had. The spa here is as great as it ever can be. I knew this place one year ago when I came to nearby area for some business and tried the spa here. I started with the $35 combo and it was really a soothing experience. After my first try, I tried different kinds of spa here and now I usually choose 1 hr or 90 minutes of body massage. The main reason why I choose body massage rather than combo is that combo contains half an hour of foot massage, which is contrast to what my friend told me that a combo IS body massage. All the masseuses here are really nice, but my favorite masseuse is Tracy. She can make my visit very nice every time and it's really nice to have a body massage after a whole day's work. I've been here for a foot rub massage perhaps 4/5 times. On each occasion I have a completely different experience but generally it's mediocre. The last time I was there a very kind woman greeted me, like always. I think she is some sort of management. She notified me that my masseuse would be with me shortly. She squirted me to a room and I waited on the table for about 10 minutes. As I was on the table I heard an employee arrive through the door and he quickly came into the room. He reeked of cigarette smoke, didn't wash his hands and seemed rushed. I asked to speak to the female manager and I informed her that the cigarette smoke was a deal-breaker for me. Body massage: intrusive, some may feel uncomfortable, but they will find ever muscle to massage and this means contorting their body over yours. Massage is rough. Fabulous foot massage: Feet are soaked in a warm bath, as you are lying down and getting a neck, shoulder, face, scalp and arm massage! Massages hit all the Ancient Chinese medicine pressure points, reflexology. Not super clean, workers are loud and gruff. They do not speak English. The $45/1 hour body massage included some hot stone work which was nice, along with some head and facial massage. The massage itself-- definitely Asian-run. Left my underwear on and they just rolled it down as they pleased when they were working a little past my lower back. Uhh.. yeah they just don't care that much about what you think, the masseuses are there to do their jobs and get out. Very mechanical, go-through-the-motions kind of stuff. The place itself is kinda bare bones-- faux walls and curtains instead of doors, but what was the biggest issue to me was the service. The few girls at the front were both really timid and awkward and I even had to prompt them to ring me up after the massage. It's value for money. Came in with a sore lower back and it was painful to get in and out of my car. Body and foot massage later, I was walking straighter and got in my car with ease. Other places would charge double just for fruity water and a robe. This place was no nonsense. I was very displeased with there service and after I had paid they chased after me to the parking lot because I didn't leave a high enough tip. I like this place for the simplicity and service. I get the hot stone 90 min + Reflexology. Each time the treatment is a little different although I get the same package. This is not the spa atmosphere if you want that and definitely not quiet and tranquil. Go to get the job done. This past weekend I needed a treatment for headaches I was experiencing. About 20 mins in this horrendous drunk woman came in announcing she 'had to pee', 'where's my champagne' and got a couples massage with her boyfriend. I had to listen to her entire conversation about what she wanted to do and bossing her boyfriend around like a wimpy 10 year old kid. She never stopped ranting and was a delusional mess asking 'do you love me...how much?!?' then proceeding to call her bf a 'pussy' and saying ' you do what the f#%* I tell you too!' It was horrifying these trash bags are really humans! The statement that this guy was 'lucky to have the hottest girl in town' as his girlfriend just made me cringe. I suffered through the end of my massage never getting a moment of peace listening to the whole conversation as it was very loud and boisterous. The management and masseuses should have addressed them and I should have too but I waited outside purely to see the mess that was coming out after I finished. Sadly, out comes this old man with this 40 something heap of garbage, went straight for their cigarettes as she continued to berate him and tell her she wants to keep drinking. I wanted to see them get in a car so I could get their plate and have them pulled over but they walked away...and I followed them because I had to see this self proclaimed 'hottest girl in town'. To no surprise, she was a trailer trash queen at best and would place 5th in an Alabama Fair 'Miss Piggy' contest of 4!!! Sick that adults can act this way and in a place of relaxation. My husband and I have been going to Jing for years. Great, no-nonsense Chinese massage. Clean, affordable, nice staff and most importantly good massages. Love the hot stones. There are curtains, not rooms with doors so that when some of the other customers can be a bit loud when they come in and you are in the middle of a massage. Great location, easy parking. Just remember, it's not Burke Williams, it's a Chinese massage. Thumbs up to Jing! read more

Paid for a 90 min. She left at least 10 times to answer the phone, talk to incoming guests. She even left once for 8 minutes!!! Top it off she ended ten minutes early!!!! What the hell?? As I was paying and listening to my husband say they switched from a female to a male mid message (didn't tell him) I look up and see the tall man straightening out the sheet I was laying on! Yes ladies and gentlemen! My dirty sheet was being used again. Stared at him and he froze. I shook my head at him like he was wrong and disgusting for doing that. He then closed the curtain and we left. I'm pregnant and the idea of myself or my husband laying on other people's skin is absolutely repulsive. We will never ever ever come back again. First time here tonight and was very happy with my massage! 35$ for 60 min full body massage which sick used hot oil and hot stones. You also get a private room! No open area like a lot of these places have. The place is clean as well and minimal noise. Very relaxing! Best part is the massage was very good! I went for a one hour massage, and I've had many types of massage -- acupressure, deep tissue, Swedish, Thai and I would rank this as one of the worst I've ever gotten. I began by telling her I liked a strong massage, as I usually do. Not only was it not strong, the woman (Lucy, I believe it was) had no technique whatsoever. She didn't work any knots out, she didn't stretch me, and she seemed to have no connection whatsoever to anything going on with my muscles. Also, it was definitely not an hour. It was about 20 minutes on my stomach before she asked me to turn over and then maybe another 20 minutes on my back, and it seemed like 10 minutes of that 40 minutes was applying oil (and not nearly enough of it if you're going to bother to use it) and wiping it off.
