It was my first time getting a facial and I picked their special facial. It was great, it's $75 for an hour and a half, and the ladies were very nice and attentive. They noticed I had a small rash on my neck (I have sensitive skin so I tend to get rashes sometimes) and sprayed an anti-itch liquid on it. The only thing was that they said they would analyze my skin while I was calling them the phone to see which treatments I needed, but when I went in they didn't do that at all- went straight to treatments. Very nice and professional on the phone. No wait time - same day appointment. That's when the good ended. Very business oriented in terms of pushy sales for the 10 pack and for additional purchases of in-store serums. The facial itself was very mundane. I was left with toners, lotions and masks that sizzled on my face. Felt literally tortured as I have sensitive skin which I've already informed them multiple times. My eyes teared from the pain. The esthetician did her job like she was just going through the motions not taking much pride in the treatment quality. Most of the 90 min was spent waiting with toner or masks on my face in great discomfort. Extractions very quickly done and sloppily. No eyebrow tweezing was performed. I was in Flushing randomly. Had to wait to pick up someone. I decided to go for a facial since I have time to waste. I walked in without an appointment, and the lady greeted me right away and was able to squeeze me in. The lady took the time to listen to my facial concerns and explain the treatments that they have. Once I selected the treatment, I was immediately guided to the room and Dephne (esthetician) came in right away. She was wonderful and took good care of me!! I've always left feeling like my skin was baby smooth, clean, and clear after her facial treatments (which include cleansing, massage, extraction, masks, and eyebrow work). She is always careful, quick, accommodating & gentle with extractions and going frequently over the years helped calm my super-inflamed /acne-ridden skin tremendously. I've been coming to Jing's for all my facials as my mom is a regular here! Jing is located on the second floor and it's a clean and cute spot. The staff here is very nice and friendly. They won't press you for anything, which I appreciate. So in terms of the facial, I've been going to the same lady every time. She's always very thorough and does a really good job cleaning my face. Whenever I'm done with my facials with her I feel very clean and rejuvenated! Honestly, I have no complaints except oneee small tiny one. When the other ladies are not taking clients, they're prettttyyy loud out there which disturbs the whole experience. When I'm doing my face mask and trying to relax with the music playing, I hear them laughing and talking. I understand they're bored and just want to mingle with each other, but they should be more considerate of their other clients that are there. The reason why I am willing to tolerate though is because what I pay for the facial which is super affordable especially the packages. My sister and I have been coming to Jing Beauty since 2018. They have a variety of services to choose from and they never disappoint. Everyone who works there is really friendly and kind. They are frequently adding new services and continue to improve and add to old services. We are currently loving the detox facial but all the other facials are worth trying as well. A great facial location. I've been here twice and Vivian did my facial work. I highly recommend Vivian (more info below). About the place: - ~ 2 blocks from the 7 main street station - I've been in rooms w/ 2 beds. So if you go in w/ a friend you two can be in the same room. - Clean facility, equipment, and bathroom. - Good customer service. - Easy to make appointments over the phone. About the facial and Vivian: - I got the "special facial" 10 pack. It includes cleansing, facial/neck/upper traps/shoulders massage, steam, hand massage w/ heated mittens, pore extraction, and 2 diff masks. - Vivian is efficient and thorough with the whole process, esp w/ pore extraction. The pore extraction portion is tolerable/not that painful. She gives a good and relaxing massage to the face. She does NOT try to sell products to me and I appreciate that (I dislike it when places try to sell me additional things when I am trying to relax and treat myself to a facial!) As a woman, I enjoy this place and get what I paid for. But for a man, he would not get what he paid for. My boyfriend came with me for the special facial, he paid the same amount, but he did not get any of the massages (I asked for a price reduction but they said it's the same price). Coming back from my hiatus, I figure why not start off with a banging review. I really didn't want to divulge my secret place... but hell, why not. The cat is out of the bag anyways based on these reviews. I started coming here a few years ago and tested about 3-4 ladies before I met my one and only, Vicky. She really cares about your skin and only wants the best for you. Vicky tries her best to be oh so gentle during the extraction process and would ask if you're ok. It's not totally pain free, c'mon, let's be realistic here. Extraction can be painful!! But she does it in a way that is the least painful and I totally appreciate it. You leave there looking radiant and clean. Now, parking can be a hassle. Make sure you allocate 2 hours for this because the facial can last up to 1.5 hrs to 2 hrs. Steam face, lotion, massage, steam, extract, ointment, heat arm wrap with lotion and mask while napping. If you need to leave at a certain time, make sure you let her know beforehand. read more

The facial itself is good but it was so disappointing to experience such a noisy environment. The walls are thin and you can hear workers & customers speaking loudly outside of the room. You can hear bathroom door bang shut and flushing of toilet. But what annoyed us the most was that they did the whole facial with the door wide open on the main floor close to their bathroom & entrance. I mean, we were wearing a robe with our top exposed. ABSOLUTELY ATROCIOUS!!!! DO NOT GO HERE. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I went for a lash lift and now have burnt lashes. I called and the lady said special deal for $29 because I made an appointment. I went for my appointment and was told to sit in the same room as a lady getting her facial done (no privacy). My appointment was at 11 am and I wasn't taken until 11:30/45. I was told to lay down and she began to go at it at my eyelashes. She left the solution on for more than 40 minutes. While she left it on she proceeded to do another girls facial next to me (now I was the woman with no privacy). Apparently the perm solution should not be on your eyelashes for over 12 mins. I kept moving around so she could come back to me and she scurried I heard some clipping and I'm sure she cut off the tips of my lashes and then put the solution on again! I was in there for a total of 1 hr and 20 mins. I was sitting there freaking out because I can't open my eyes and figure out what's going on. My eyelashes are completely burned and bent back. I needed to run out because my car meter was expired because I didn't know I would be in there for so long. The lady at the front changed her price from what she originally said on the phone now to $39 so I paid $50 and ran to my car hoping that I didn't get a ticket. I looked at my eyelashes and they are completely facing backwards. I don't know if they will ever grow back. They are stubby and short and look horrible. I needed extensions after and those fell out within 3 days because my eyelashes couldn't hold it. They cost me time, money, and most importantly beauty. My lashes are awful now. read more

I am truly shocked that this place has so many good reviews. I've received many incredible facials in the past that this place cannot ever match up to. A few years ago, my mom and I bought the 10 facial package and we hadn't used it since. I brought my partner here for fun, even though he has naturally perfect skin. My skin has never been good - starting from when I was only 11 years old, I've always had overly dry skin and lots of acne. When we did the procedure, the two people giving us facials (I believe Lisa and Vicky, who everyone on Yelp seems to rave about) began praising my partner's face and insulting mine and gasping at how many pimples I have. After constantly insulting my skin, Lisa started talking about some LED treatment and even brought in multiple people to tell me how much I NEED the procedure and how HORRIBLE my acne is and how irritatingly RED it is. I was pressured into buying the $40 LED treatment, and it did nothing. The facial even generated more acne in the spots she extracted, along with more redness and scabs. I teared up during the entire procedure, trying to bite my lip and hold it in. After my partner and I left, I bursted into tears. That was over AN HOUR of constant attacks on my face and making me feel worse about something I am already insecure of. I'm never coming back. read more
