    Jalapeños bomb

First time guest here. It was a rainy Xmas eve day and I was craving something warm and comforting. Glad this place was open. We were seated pretty quick and I ordered the jalapeño bombs as well as the Tonkotsu Spicy Black ramen. Everything was delicious. The ramen was flavorful and the portion was satisfying. You can selct the spicy level. I got to try both levels 1 and 2. Level 2 is on the spicier side and just on the cusp of being too much. I think 3 would be too spicy to enjoy, imo. The noodles were cooked perfectly. Im glad I got the black garlic addition. It added an extra layer of flavor. I will be checking this place out some more.

Haven't been here in a hot minute! Really was craving something soupy and filling. They now have Happy Hour everyday from 3-6pm which pairs well with their ramen. Who can't say no to $10 pitchers or $3 pints on draft. Tonkotsu Spicy Black -is always my go-to. Creamy, rich and savory. Just a slight kick, not as greasy as before which I prefer. The chashu isn't as tender as before but still good. Jalapeno Bomb -freshness from the jalapeno. Stuffed with cream cheese and spicy tuna, topped with fried tempura crumbs. Paired well with beer.

I came here with friends on a weekend for dinner and was craving some ramen. The servers were nice, and the service was fast with the food. It was not too crowded or loud inside when we arrived. For ramen, I got the tonkotsu miso. The serving size was generous and filling enough. As for the broth, it was not too heavy but savory with the tonkatsu and miso combination. The texture of the noodles was good and chewy. Though I would have liked the chashu to be a bit more flavorful as it was light.

Not impressed! Food wise... started with Jalapeño poppers/bomb didn't look so appetizing. first of all, it was different sizes... looked slapped together and for the price, really need to take the time to make it look appealing at least. Taste wise, it was okay, a little more spicier than what it should be because of the big chunk of the jalapeño they used. We also ordered a beef ribeye for $14.00... SO NOT WORTH IT!!! it was meat that had cartilage and fat! it only looked good on the menu... We also ordered the spicy garlic edamame which actually came after the soup. We ordered ordered Tonkotsu Spicy Black, Shoyu, and Shio... the broth was alight... however, it got cold quick! that's because everything was cold and it was only the broth that was hot. and seriously, they are charging $2.00 for hot sauce?!?!? and we dined in... they gave the soup with PLASTIC SPOONS!!! RIDICULOUS!!! Basically, for the amount of money this all costs... we had no choice but to finish it. We went here on a Friday night, it was our first time. The area looked dead so it was nice to see that this place was open and looked busy. We arrived around 840pm and the hours in Yelp as well as their door says open until 10pm. Ambience was okay. It seemed busy. I was surprised that at 855, the server came to us and said it's already last call and we need to place our order. hmmmmm... there were about 6 parties that we saw who came in that were turned away and told it was already last call!!! that was very disappointing and that was a huge turn off for me. Overall... i highly do not recommend this place!!! you can get better food at other surrounding places. Don't waste your time or money. All misleading!!!

The service was good. The restaurant is spacious, lots of tables. The food was tasty and light. I've been here a few times with my friends and family. I've had the spicy miso, which was more spicy than flavorful. I've had the tonkotsu black ramen with chicken, that was delicious. My sister got the tonkotsu shio with tofu, and liked it.

Honestly I was not expecting anything and I felt disappointed here. I'll start with how bad operations were. The hostess was a server and they were completely understaffed for the amount of business they had. The ramen was underwhelming. I ordered a black garlic ramen, but they left out key ingredients the first time it got to me. I had to ask them to bring it back and add in the black garlic along with bamboo shoots. Make sure you check your order when you get it! We ordered extra noodles that never came so we had them just remove it because we were already done eating and it still had not come out. The flavor wasn't anything unique. The spicy miso ramen was pretty salty to me. The spicy tuna crispy rice was fine. I think overall I likely won't be coming back because nothing stood out in a good way. Everything that did was not a good thing. We felt so bad that the waitress/hostess was apologizing nonstop to customers as their orders were extremely delayed and everything was coming out so slowly. She couldn't do much, so we felt real bad for her. There was another waitress who was assisting but looked completely lost the whole time. It was hard to watch and enjoy dinner with service being so rough.

Walked in exactly at 9pm for a takeout order and they sent us away saying they already did last call. I confirmed they close at 10pm. A whole hour with no business is crazy.

The worst service at a restaurant I've had in a long time. The server did not take the order correctly and fellow diners had to wait an additional 30 minutes for her meal. In addition, we were not given any utensils or napkins. Someone in our party had to ask the server for them because our ramen was getting cold and soggy. In addition, the restaurant was out of all menu items except tonkotsu ramen. Overall food was decent, but the service and overall atmosphere were terrible. I hope this restaurant figures out their ingredient sourcing and service.

You dare serve this egg? Damn!

Fake "#1 Ramen" - More Like $18 for Instant Noodles in Dirty Dishwater We came here because of the glowing Yelp reviews. Big mistake. My wife, kids, and I have eaten ramen all over, and this place is by far the worst. If Yelp had negative stars, this would be -5. We ordered 1 Black Tonkotsu and 2 Tonkotsu Shio. The Black Tonkotsu landed on the table, and I instantly knew something was off. First red flag -- the soup was lukewarm. Not steaming, not hot... just sad and tired, like it had been sitting in the back waiting for someone to be unlucky enough to order it. The broth? Thin, watery, and tasted like someone dumped chicken bouillon and MSG in warm tap water. I took a few sips and instantly felt like I'd chugged seawater. My wife's and kids' bowls were no better -- same depressing broth. And then came the eggs... oh man. Not the beautiful, marinated, jammy ramen eggs you dream about -- no, these were plain, overcooked hard-boiled eggs with yolks so dry they could choke a camel. The egg whites even had this weird bitter taste, like they'd been sitting in the fridge next to cleaning supplies. Absolutely inedible. Look at the photos -- overcooked eggs with sad gray yolks, limp noodles with zero spring, watery broth that looked like dirty dishwater, and toppings tossed in like someone said "eh, good enough" before sending it out. And they advertise as "#1 rated ramen"? That's not just false advertising -- that's comedy. None of us finished our bowls. At $18 a pop, this is highway robbery. I wouldn't pay $3 for this, and I've had instant ramen at home that blows this garbage out of the water. Final verdict: If you want real ramen, literally go anywhere else. If you want to pay premium prices for disappointment, bitter eggs, and a mouthful of regret, this is your spot.

Thankful to find such a great spot to have some friends try real Japanese ramen for the first time. Everything we ordered was good and service was attentive and great. Loved the Tonkotsu Black ramen bowl. The broth was so rich and tasty. It was hard not to pick up the bowl and drink the broth all up. Looking forward to coming back for lunch since they have a great lunch deal that comes with many side items along with your bowl of ramen.

Yes, you can substitute pork for chicken or tofu!

Do they have any non pork options? If so are they any good?

My husband cant have pork so he gets the vegetable broth and he will usually get a side of the Japanese fried chicken with it.

    Is the "vegetable ramen" vegan?

i believe they use the same stock so no it's not vegan

Cucumber salad (5/5): refeshing cucumber slices with a hint of vinegar mixed either bits and nori and sesame seed! They added a few slices of crab salad to top it all off! Amazing combination and my mom loved it! Shoyu ramen (5/5): if you're looking for savory sauce then shoyu ramen will be your go to! Smooth and soothing! Their soy sauce is 2 year barrel aged and definitely worth a try! Tonkatsu ramen (10/5): creamy and mouthwatering! This was my favorite! If you're looking for a creamy and rich broth, this is your must try! Pairs well with their pork chashu, spinach and other toppings! The restaurant itself was sticky inside. We looked at the only server working and motioned for a party of two. He seemed to respond to us, but from the kitchen, so we couldn't hear what he said. We had assumed he wanted us to take wherever, so we sat in the corner. There were QR codes to look at the menu, and we decided on their basic ramen and chicken katsu curry rice. We thought it would be quick, but it turned out to be a very long time for the server and the food. The server didn't come get our order as quick as we thought. It wasn't a packed restraint so I was quite confused. When we ordered our food, it didn't come out for about 30 minutes. The food came out cold, warm, and hot in random spots. Which is understandable, since the ramen toppings were different. I took a few bites of the ramen, and it was lackluster. The toppings and soup didn't become a medley in my mouth, but still felt like separate entities. Their curry was good, but their chicken katsu was dry. Their rice wasn't cooked well; it was undercooked and was also very dry. We had finished our water halfway through the meal, and couldn't seem to get it refilled. When the server left, someone else took his spot. She was quite quick and came with the water, check, and to go boxes. The service isn't great here and the food isn't special. Don't expect quickness or delicious food awaiting you.

We waited 5 min to be acknowledged and it was a brief "we'll be right with you guys" to us and 2 other parties. Then a young girl with dark long hair in a pony tail completely gazed over us (we were first in line at the counter where the sign said please wait to be seated) and looked at the couple behind us and said I can seat you guys. My spouse said, "we were actually waiting first." And she said oh okay come with me. She sat us in the back by the restrooms at a DIRTY table that had not been wiped down not floor cleaned. I had to step over 3 crumpled up napkins and food residue to be sat at a table that had spilled water and soy sauce on it. Rather than apologize and seat us at the next table, she moved on to the next guests, so we took it upon ourselves to move tables because that is just disgusting and poor sanitary conditions. Then it was about 10 minutes later that she came back with waters which we appreciated. She did not let us know she would be back to take our order, instead she went to the next table and handed them their waters and offered to take their order. I went to use the restroom closest to the tables and let me say it was appalling. Trash overflowing, paper towels on the floor, the paper towel holder falling off the wall. Just Gross. After coming back I asked my spouse if she came around yet and he said no. We felt ignored, dismissed, and not cared about as customers. So we left. And we will not be returning. Really disappointed in the staff and this experience as we have been here before and have never experienced this with other staff members/the males working. The Gen Z staff need to be appropriately trained on communication, manners, and etiquette when guests arrive. You don't ignore people, you greets them and acknowledge them. Had we been acknowledged or communicated with we would completely understand. Would not recommend.

We got counter seating for 3 people. No wait. For our dinner, we got the: spicy miso tonkotsu, miso, and the sukiyaki broths, which were all decently solid. A bit light, but not too salty or dehydrating at the least. We all used sauce generously with our order, so maybe we should have sipped more soup or cooked more things in it longer? But we've never had this issue with other shabu places I've been to. For meats, we got the regular sized for all and had the angus beef chuck prime, beef toro, and lamb. Decent quality meat. Slices weren't too thin or too thick. Meat didn't cook and dry up immediately like worse places I've been to. All of our food came with a veggie plate and I will admit some of the lettuce/cabbage leaves weren't the cleanest or crispest so we didn't eat as much of the veggies as we'd like... We also ordered nigiri sushi on the side, which is just okay. Usually we wouldn't get something like that unless it came with the meal like an AYCE. Decent quality salmon, lots of rice and extra arbs on top of your meal though. Overall, it's okay.
