    Spicy creamy vegan ramen
    Adannaya I.

I've been here a couple times now. Once on a solo date and once with friends and both times I really enjoyed my experience! The service is fast and they are all really nice and knowledgable of the menu. The ramen is good - Ive tried the tonkotsu black ramen and recently I tried the servers suggestion of the spicy creamy vegan ramen (replacing the tofu with their Birria beef which came on the side, not in the broth) and that was super delicious and will definitely be my new go to! They also have sriracha, gyoza sauce, and seasoning sauce available at the table so those are also great additions! The drinks are really delicious as well and they don't have a lot of dessert options but there are a few nearby (most closing at 10).

Very bad service people there are on a rush all the time and they don't talk to people I don't like the employees and environment I will not go there no more

Came back after 2 years and things were so much better this time around. This place can get super busy. We sat at the bar, Thong was our server. He was an absolute delight! We both got the spicy creamy vegan ramen extra spicy and it hit the spot. Thong anticipated my needs before I even brought it up so great of him! Will def be back!

Jinya's has really good ramen and soup. I always enjoyed each bowl, although it is a pricey bowl. I occasionally visit whenever I am craving it, but I've visited a few times alone when I am in my worst times, and it certainly makes my day better during the worst times. I've always enjoyed the spicy chicken ramen with a seasoned egg. The seasoned egg is quite expensive per egg but it's a must with ramen. The yolk oozes out, and the egg tastes savory and perfect. It's go big or not go at all so I always get the egg. I always try to drink most of the soup as well because it is so good. Really wish it could be more affordable to enjoy a bowl so we can go more, but alas, it would have to be an occasional treat. I also enjoyed the appetizer spicy mayo shrimp before, but alas, another price increase keeps me at bay. It almost cost close to a bowl of ramen. Do I want an appetizer or perhaps another bowl of ramen? I ended up getting the brocollini since I thought I needed veggies, and I can also put it in my ramen bowl to enjoy as well. I enjoyed the brocollini. Seating can be a bit crowded, but I've always been able to find a seat. If not, then you would be seated on the big table along with others, but its a big table so it's not likely you will sit next to people. Staff always get the job done, the food comes out quickly, and I enjoy quickly.

Spicy Vegan ramen, seaweed salad, salmon poke bowl We sat at the bar on a rainy Saturday. When it's cold out, you don't want to sit at the bar unless you're closer to the end near the tv because the cold comes right on in every time someone opens the door. Lucky for us, we were at the end. I'm not vegan. This was my first time having the spicy vegan ramen and it was amazing. It's my new favorite entree there! Highly recommend it. As always, delicious food.

Jinya is a Houston classic for ramen. The broth is flavorful and the service is usually pretty good. The environment is warm and the chain's success in expanding throughout the city and beyond is a testament to that. The Tonkatsu Black is my usual go-to. Unfortunately in my recent visit, I have noticed that they have fallen victim to severe inflation of prices, and I can't say that paying almost $17 for a bowl of ramen would be worth it anywhere. $9 for a few pieces of karaage also seems really steep.

The food was really good! When ever I go here the service is amazing they balance out serving food extremely well! And I love the ambience the lights even dim when it gets dark outside. (They also give you ice cream for ordering a kids meal~only dine in~).

Service was great & very responsible taking dietary restrictions seriously. Both vegan ramen bowls we had were awesome. My favorite was the Vegan Red Fire Opal. Spicy Creamy Vegan Ramen was also very good. The space was very clean & chill.

Went last night cuz I was craving some kind of soup. It was pretty busy but we were still sat within a few mins of arriving. I got my usual the tonkotsu spicy sub for pork soboro. We also had the pork gyoza and broccolini. There was a small mix up with the broccolini but the manager was kind to offer to take it off the bill due to the wait. It came out some time after the ramen . Another thing to mention I always see them cleaning and paying great attention to detail when u visit this location. Try them out!

The same high Jinya standards that you expect from all the other locations can be found here. Friendly staff, quick service, and delicious ramen.

I recently went to Jinya and it was an incredibly satisfying experience. The broth was so rich and flavorful! Just the right balance of saltiness and warmth. My favorite part is the egg! Definitely coming back for more!!

Service was good. Food Was tasty but the quantity of chicken was laughable. Not enough seating for a dining establishment.

I've come here for weekday lunch recently and appreciate their quick service and friendly staff. Place is still pretty busy but easy enough to get a table for 2. This past time we sat at the bar, and I ordered the shrimp wonton ramen which comes with thick noodles and 5 wontons. My advice is to take the wontons out and put them back in when you want to eat it OR eat them really fast. My first wonton was perfect with lots of shrimp but then the rest of them I think got over cooked in the broth so they weren't as delicate. It's like eating Korean tofu soup- gotta take the shrimp out and eat it else it just gets kinda tough texture. Other than that, it was great and would definitely try again. I did notice that they have a kids ramen but it's like $12 which is not cheap for a kids meal. It would be nice if they had some other kid options or maybe I would just order extra noodles and split.

I have passed by their restaurant many times, but it never occurred to me to go in until one day I was surprised to see them ranked in the top 100 ramen places nationally on Yelp! With less than 300 reviews, I was skeptical at first but was intrigued to give it a try, and I'm so glad that I did! I visited on a Friday afternoon right before New Year's and was greeted warmly by the staff inside. As I was indecisive on what to order in the ramen section, I asked the staff for suggestions. She was kind to walk me through the menu without rushing to get an order, and she mentioned that their most popular item is actually the beef noodles. That was all I needed to make a decision to try the beef noodles. While waiting for the food, I chatted with the staff and learned that the restaurant opened right before the pandemic then shifted their model to take-out only as the pandemic begin. Since then, they've tried to make use of their restaurant space to return to dine-in but it has been difficult to find reliable workers. In the interest of keeping the quality consistent and customers happy, they've decided to make sacrifices to keep the business model as is for take-out only instead of scaling up with additional staff, which is such a shame given the rent in the area is not cheap and they have such a beautiful space! When you hear "take-out only", I know what you're thinking, BUT I promise you this is the best takeout food you will ever have! The packaging is very well-designed to keep the flavors and ingredients at its finest! As I mentioned, I ordered the beef noodles, and typically noodle dishes are not ideal for takeout, but Asia Blue separates the soup from the noodles so that the noodles are not soggy, and even after half hour, the soup stayed warm and flavorful. The noodles also came paired with many mini side dishes as palate cleansers, which were a nice surprise. From my conversation with the staff, I've also learned that this is one of the rare places that truly make their broth fresh from premium ingredients! You can be sure that it's MSG free and packed with healthy nutrients, and that's a quality that you can taste. I highly recommend this place for your next ramen adventure, and I certainly will be returning again very soon to try the other menu items. :)

When you pickup your food, the sit down area is dark, and there isn't much of a waiting area. It looks to be run by two folks, the cook and the cashier. It is probably best to order over the app, as the one cashier is busy packing the food in the fancy packaging and dealing with the money transactions. Since it is only two people, it can be slow to get your food when it is busy. I waited an additional 20 mins from the projected time it was suppose to be done. As for the food, the miso ramen was packed in this fancy box. The box contained the soup separated from the noodles with a few side dishes. I believe this is the only vegi ramen they offer. It is nothing special. The broth is basically miso soup with soy sauce. (2 out of 5) The cold sesame noodles was better. It had more flavor. (4 out of 5) The Salt & Pepper Chicken was good (4.5 out of 5). I couldn't help eating it while in the car, as it smelled so good. The Braised Pork over rice was decent. It was cut up thick pork belly, braised in an Asian brown sauce. The flavoring was a little one sided. (3 out of 5). I'm giving this place an overall 3 stars because the food isn't something to rave about. Packaging and presentation were great, but tastes was more important to me.

I still had to wait for the first wave of seating before getting in, and the setup definitely does not feel ideal for large groups. It is mostly two-tops with some bar seating for solo diners. They make their noodles on premise, which is a nice touch, and I ordered their signature ramen. It came with a rich, heavy broth and was topped with chicken, duck, and roasted pork. Honestly, the mix of meats felt a bit overkill, and while everything was well cooked, the duck stood out as the best component. The broth itself was very good but extremely thick, almost closer in texture to tsukemen-style ramen than a traditional broth-based bowl. The real highlight here was the noodles, which had excellent texture, and the perfectly jammy egg, which was spot on. Prices can get pretty high here, with some bowls reaching up to around 43 dollars. They also offer more experimental options like a matcha ramen, which is interesting and cool to see but not something I tried. It is first come, first serve with no reservations, so expect a wait. I am glad I tried it while in Houston, but for the price point and effort required just to get seated, this ramen landed as just okay for me overall. I have definitely had better. That said, the quality is clearly high, and the service was very friendly throughout. My friend ordered the garlic knockout ramen, which was insanely flavorful but completely dominated by garlic. It overpowered everything else in the bowl, to the point where it was hard to taste any other elements of the ramen.

It was good, flavorful, and had a nice spice level but it wasn't wowing. My boyfriend and I shared the General Tso's chicken, and that was a 10 out of 10. This is the second place I've gone to that has great General Tso's chicken, and that is definitely a compliment. I would absolutely order it again. We also tried the "Honey moon" appetizer which is a stuffed jalapeño. It had crab and cream cheese with eel sauce. The jalapeño was too crunchy for me, my preference is to have it softer but I feel like the flavor wasn't really there. One of the standout appetizers was the beef tongue from the appetizer menu. That was a 10 out of 10. It came with a sauce on top that was really good and brought everything together perfectly. We had the coconut shrimp appetizer as well. The shrimp itself was decent, but the fried coating tasted like the oil wasn't very fresh. It was crunchy, but the flavor of the oil came through, so I'd rate that about a 5 out of 10. We also ordered fried calamari . I'd rate that around a 6 out of 10. It was okay, but when you bit into it, the octopus would slide out and leave you mostly with the fried outer crust, and the crust itself wasn't that flavorful. The ambiance was beautiful, very clean, modern, and nicely designed. It felt comfortable and well put together. Service was fine, nothing that stands out.

Now why is there not a location in Houston proper??? This place is sooo good! To that point when we…read morearrived there was a wait and we had to get a buzzer which took about 10-15 mins to be seated. It was worth it! This restaurant is really cute. Its on the smaller side which also explains the wait. The service is quick and efficient! I I ordered spicy edamame which was interesting it tasted like tomato paste with spices essentially but still good. And kimchi for gut health! The belle of the ball is of course the sushi! They have an array of different sushi and rolls to pick from! I couldn't decided so I ordered 2 different rolls. Interestingly enough they both were served hot. I ordered the Louisiana roll 10/10. And a Mt. Fuji roll they're soo good and a good starter. This place is excellent! If I ever happen to across the world in Rosenberg I will definitely be back!

Very calm and inviting restaurant in a small dining center. Parking is limited in the front for all…read moreof the other businesses but there is also parking in the back. Was greeted and seated as soon as I walked in. Soy sauce, ginger and spices are already on the table for your dining experience. I ordered one yellowtail sushi roll and a shaggydog. I also wanted to try the tempura bun. Everything came out fast but fresh. The hot saki was very good. The tempura bun was soft and had a sweet after bite to it. The shaggydog and yellowtail were both delish. was very pleased. I ordered a to-go plate of kimchi fries. Today I found out I do not like kimchi. Im glad I tried it. Different strokes for different folks.
