Cute place with lots of business, but $4 for a small chai, just because it's iced and not hot? Not cool.

Terrible service... the staff seemed so out of order. The place itself was so unorganized. 1. Place itself was cute but the vibe in there wasn't very friendly 2. They had no food on the menu... only sandwiches and a small menu for breakfast food. 3. The staff was too busy to ring people out due to having conversations with customers for like 10 minutes...4. I should just give up but this dump is so close to home I keep trying to have a decent experience. Ordered a breakfast sandwich to go via telephone. The girl told me 5 minutes. I knew better and stayed in my car for at least ten minutes before going in. Ordered my coffee and told the girl I was picking up a phone order. So I get my coffee, and wait, and wait and wait. Finally someone comes from the back with a sandwich but it's not mine. It's for the customer that walked in after me. I ask if I'm gonna see my sandwich anytime soon. At which point they find it just sitting in a corner. So now I get a soggy, cold egg wrap that is so poorly made I might as well have just thrown it out immediately Typical Jitters. Inattentive and unapologetic. Twenty five minutes for a breakfast sandwich and all I got was a condescending giggle and an empty sorry. It's painfully obvious that there's so many basic ugg boot, and north face wearing twits lining up for this places pathetic wears that they really couldn't care less about customer service. I've been a fan of jitters since high school! It's great coffee and the service is awesome too. I would recommend jitters to people on their way to the beach in the summer and anyone who wants something better than Dunkin :) they also have bagels and sandwiches! read more

This place is great!! The sandwiches are awesome, the coffee is tip-top, the service is excellent, and while I'm not a big dessert fan, they at least look good behind the glass. Awesome stop for a breakfast sandwich and coffee in the morning and a soup, sandwich, and iced coffee or tea for lunch. Highly recommended. Can get crowded at lunchtime. They do have places to sit outside on nice days. read more

I tend to stop at jitters everyday before work if I don't have time to drive to Starbucks. Jitters is a hit or miss for me, it depends on what girl is making your coffee and what mood that person is in. Jitters does offer a coffee card that gets stamped every time you buy a coffee and after I believe 5-6 you get a free coffee. Now with me stopping in jitters almost everyday you'd think someone would offer me that coffee card but that has yet to happen. Some would ask " why keep giving them business?" Well it's close to work for me and I can deal with an okay coffee lol. For food at jitters I'd call it average. It would be better if they cooked you a fresh egg and bacon. For the price of a breakfast sandwich I'd say any fast food breakfast sandwich is better. A microwaved egg, bacon and cheese sandwich is just okay. They could definitely do better with serving fresh food. Muffins, bagels, cookies and pastries are delicious here. Anyway this is just my take on them and hopefully it helps them make some adjustments. read more

The best place to stop before school for an inexpensive and delicious breakfast. The service methods are a little confusing and chaotic, as there are two separate lines for paying and ordering. When the small cafe gets crowded, this method becomes overwhelming and often results in confusion for both the costumes and the servers. I would also recommend more seating. Let's get this under control. The amazing food and drinks make up for this confusion so it doesn't quite matter to me, but it does cause for a stressful trip, especially when you are trying to rush the kids to school!!! I stopped in for breakfast sandwiches for my daughter and myself. Pretty good. The bagels were great. I realized I hadn't grabbed a lunch for work so I asked what kind of pie that was in the case. Chicken Parmesan is what I was told. Hmm ok I'll give it a shot. Seriously the most disappointing thing I have eaten in a long long time. Basically two breaded previously frozen chicken patties with maybe a tablespoon of sauce wrapped in dough. I expected much better quality. Yuck. read more

I love Jitters because it has great chai, coffee, and gluten free offerings! They have a separate plate up front with GF muffins and cookies as well as GF rolls for sandwiches. Their banana chocolate chip cookies are big, fluffy and amazing but, go fast. They also have a large variety of bagels and flavored cream cheeses for those of you lucky enough to not be gluten free (I've had my fair share!) It gets really busy in the mornings and around lunch time but, the people working their make sure it goes fast and efficiently so even with a line wrapped around the little cramped storefront, I've never had to wait very long. It's a great place to go and have lunch outside with your dog. I'd recommend: Iced Spiced Chai made with Almond milk and a GF banana chocolate chip cookie. Best little breakfast place in all Rhode Island. Don't let the line fool you, it goes quick. Beautiful and friendly staff of women. Breakfast jalapeño egg and potato wrap was the best I ever tasted. I love Jitters for their convenient location and quick service! The Thanksgiving sandwich on a white wrap is my favorite lunch option. Flavored cream cheeses are usually excellent. Muffin and bagel variety is also excellent if you get there early enough! Coffee is on the better end of average. Overall, definitely a solid choice for quick breakfast and lunch. read more

The jalapeno cream cheese has just enough heat that doesn't leave your mouth burning. It was perfect on the cheddar cheese bagel. They have a nice selection of different types of bagels and different flavors of homemade cream cream cheeses. They offer other baked goods as well and have make lunch sandwiches. The coffee isn't as good as I would hope it to be but it's not bad. read more

Coffee here is ok but nothing really special. Food items tend to be hit or miss. A bit pricey. There is almost always a wait and the line is sometimes difficult to navigate because it is tiny. No drive thru and parking can be tricky. There is some nice outside seating. Staff is pleasant but again nothing special unless you are a regular. read more

I do not mind paying good money for really good specialty coffee but my last 2 trips there have been very disappointing. Both instances were with trainees who need to be trained better. I had a hot watered down capp and my wife had an iced chai that she said was horrendous. I don't know if this is a bump in the road but Jitters use to be a good coffee shop. read more

When I first went in I ordered a muffin and a coffee, the lady seemed fine about this order, when she asked if I would like anything else I said yes a veggie panini she seemed very aggravated that she had to make a sandwich. Forgive me if I am wrong but isnt that her job? I wanted a panini but am a vegetarian so asked for a veggie panini. The girl seemed very confused by this, which I don't understand, you guys do custom panini offering the customer to build their sandwich. So she said what do you want on it, I said whatever comes on the veggie wrap is fine, I just wanted it to be a sandwich with bread, which that is what a panini is. She went in the back and just made me a veggie wrap! I got back to work to find she just did what she was going to do so I called and she said panini just means a hot sandwich. I don't work in the restaurant business but that is not true a panini is made with bread, that is why a panini is called a panini and a wrap a wrap. I spent close to 10 dollars in your cafe and don't think I will be returning. Its also soggy as can be, its almost inedible and upsetting that I paid for something that I can enjoy. read more

This place is okay, the coffee is crap but they have good tea and sandwiches and breakfast foods. However it's really dirty and crammed inside which makes going there in the morning hell. It's also way overpriced. They even raised the prices more which I think is a little uncalled for but they make so much business they can go for it. Also DO NOT GO THERE WHEN ON WAY TO SCHOOL! I frequently drive out of my way past several other options for lunch and a coffee here. I haven't been particularly adventurous but have thoroughly enjoyed the thanksgiving sandwich and Caesar wrap. I've been a Jitters addict since my freshman year at NKHS and let me tell you it doesn't get any better. Delicious coffee, but my favorite is the pomegranate iced tea. Excellent bagels with lots of variety, tons of cream cheeses to choose from and they're always toasted to perfection. Prices are reasonable and totally worth it, going to a local coffee shop beats Dunkin and Starbucks any day. I miss you when I'm not home, Jitters. This is probably the best coffee shop I have ever been to. The staff are nice and they get your order done very fast. They have amazing bagels and muffins and great coffee. Very disappointing. I went there on a Saturday at around 2:45. It was not crowded, but despite seeing at least five workers there, it still took over five minutes for someone to take my order for two coffees. And even though the cafe was open until 4, I was told they were out of regular (hot) coffee. Apparently it was impossible to brew more. I love Jitters coffee and food. But the service is less than desirable. Today was the last straw for me. When a server rolls her eyes at a customer and doesn't say hi or smile....then mumbles something after you have paid and you say "you, too" because you think maybe she said "Have a good day" and she says "What?" And I said I thought you said "Have a good day." The server proceeded to say "No. I said do you want a receipt?" And I said no....I'm all set. She turned around and didn't say goodbye, have a good day, or anything. This type of service is consistent. Many of the servers have attitudes. I believe this one in particular is the owners daughter. I think I will stick with Beach Rose Cafe in Wickford, where the coffee is just as good and food even better....even though slightly more expensive. The service there is always friendly.....you feel like you are part of a family. Today was my last day at Jitters. read more
