[[HIGHLIGHT]]I have been coming to JK nails for almost a year now and have never left unhappy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Justin executes my designs every time while also putting his own spin on them. Pedicures are always nice as well.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I'm extremely disappointed with my experience here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I showed a reference photo of exactly what I wanted -- clear/nude base with thick white tips -- and instead was given pink nails while being reassured multiple times that they would still look like the picture I showed. Unfortunately, they look nothing like the reference photo. The shape is wrong, the thickness is uneven, and the white tips are all different sizes instead of being clean and consistent. One nail is completely crooked. They did attempt to fix it, but it is still very noticeably crooked. Overall, the nails are not the clean look I specifically asked for. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I also felt uncomfortable throughout the appointment because I was repeatedly told that because I bite my nails and have short nails, they "couldn't" be longer, while also being told I was being charged based on the length of nails I wanted.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The nails themselves are not even long, which made that even more frustrating. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I tried expressing that one nail was very crooked and that the pink color was not what I asked for, the girl doing my nails seemed upset, got up, and walked away for Justin to take over.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]At that point, the experience became even more uncomfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]To save time, I eventually just told him it was fine because I needed to leave to pick up my kids from school, but I left very uncomfortable and very disappointed with the overall experience and final result.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I only get my nails done maybe once a year, so this was something I was genuinely looking forward to and was gifted to me, which makes the experience even more disappointing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] As much as I appreciate Justin trying to help, I left completely unhappy with the service and the final result. They aren't the worst and look ok, just not what I wanted. The first picture is what I asked for, and the rest are what I received.

Best French gel manicure I have ever gotten! Gel removal was painless and went smoothly and professionally and then I got an excellent and thorough regular polish. Also enjoyed the romance package pedicure. Will be back!

Pretty good nail salon to stop by if you're nearby and need to get your nails done. They took us as a walk in for a fill and two pedicures. We got seated for our pedicures right away. Their pedicure prices are pretty standard- $45 for a spa pedicure with stones and wax. There are more expensive options to choose from, too if you're looking for that. But, my spa pedicure with gel took about 1 hour and 30 minutes. I do appreciate the good quality of the pedicure, but by the time I was done I didn't want to wait another 1 to 1 1/2 hours to get my nails done too. I'm the type who wants my nails done quickly and with quality. They had quality but not quickness. But overall, I enjoyed the pedicure and my toes looked really nice!

I love the pedicures here!. Great massage, good polish and they take their time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The staff is very friendly. I feel welcome from the time I enter the shop[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They may offer water, and or a snack which is always delicious and unique![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The foot massage is excellent. They polish with care and I love the way my feet feel when I leave!

I am so pleased with the service Anna gave me this morning. After scrolling through a few places last night I settled with this salon. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I am so happy and looking forward to continue going here![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]All of the staff are very friendly and seem to go above and beyond with every kind of service.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Website is amazing and has a ton of options.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]I booked a same day appointment and requested Justin but when my schedule changed I said that if he wasn't available it was ok to give me someone else. They did. Her name was Thi(sp) (pronounced tee).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] She was horrible. I don't know if she was licensed because her technique was terrible. She certainly wasn't properly trained. I specifically asked her to get all of the old polish off and she didn't. If you look closely at the pics you will see some faint green polish. She repeatedly hurt me, said I had lifting when I had just gotten a full set three weeks ago and tried to take a piece of the "lifted" nail off with a fake nail. After she cut me I asked that someone else finish. Justin did. I was happy about that but not thrilled that he hadn't done my fill to begin with. I got French v-cut tips. He was only going to put one coat of color on the tips until I asked that he put two. I had to keep asking for corrections because the "v" shapes were uneven on a lot of the nails. The right middle finger is still uneven (ie one side of the "v" is larger/comes in further towards the center) than the other. Look at the difference in how much smaller the "v" on the right pinky is compared to the rest of the nails. I also asked that the center of the "v"s come down further in the middle because the white of the nails could be seen. When I got home I noticed that it could still be seen a little bit on some nails. I will give them another try but only with Justin.

Visiting for the holidays and stopped in at JK nails. The nail tech was very attentive and took their time with the shape. I was looking for a natural look with an ombre-type glitter to ring in the new year. I showed the nail tech my inspo pic and he delivered! Our family stopped in for some last minute appointments. Let's start out with my St. Patrick's Day Gel-X Nails by nail artist Naby. She's been doing nails for 3 years and they came out pretty cute! 4/5 stars! Our Classic Pedicures were DND Gel UFO Meets the Earth by Tina and DND Gel Vampire's Kiss by Kim and unknown. I loved my sparkly Spring toes and my hubby and eldest loved their matching color ones! 5/5 star pedi and cute floral design on eldest's! This salon has been in business for 20 years! The Man in charge declined what the package was in their own service book, and refused to give me the maki and pedi package deal, even though he admitted it supposed to be off. ( They just wanted to charge more) the lady I got took off while the water went off for my pedi. She did ok job, but kept taking off. My client got a lady that was efficient. She tended way more. This lady didn't turn on the sofa chair and didn't give me sandals, despite my client and her lady got the same regular pedi. I'm not coming here ever again. I ended up declining getting a mani or full set, decided to go elsewhere for it. read more

I'm honestly surprised by the negative review because my experience here has been nothing but amazing -- especially when it comes to my natural nails. I've been getting regular manicures and pedicures here for several years since moving from the Bay Area, and I always leave impressed by how careful, skilled, and attentive the team is. I wear my nails natural, and they treat them with so much care -- no over-filing, no rushing, just clean, precise work every single time. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They always check in with me about length and shape before they start, which I really appreciate.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The staff has clearly been trained well, and they genuinely care about doing things right. I get compliments on my natural nails all the time! If you love and want to maintain your natural nails, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place. What a hidden GEM. My first time going to JK, and I am impressed, JK would get my vote for BEST nail salon in Fair Oaks. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere here was electric the staff made the customers feel welcome and comfortable, this led to an incredibly fun time, I was laughing the whole time I was there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They have an amazing color selection, I had a pedicure it was nice and relaxing (only complaint was water was cold, my fault, I did not say anything). Justin did my nails, and all I can say is WOW, very few times I can claim that my nails are perfect (I am very fussy). I am looking forward to my next fill and pedicure! I like JK Nail. They offer good service at a great value. The $45 pedicure is solid. Your feet will come out looking brand new and as smooth as silk. Been going here for years, and I've known the owner Jimmy for over 10 years now. Love this place for pedicures! Just brought in my husband for his first pedicure ever and he loved it too. They were gentle with him and made sure to treat his feet with care. Justin is one of my favorite nail techs here and is super thorough with his work always. read more

I love this nail shop. Justin is an amazing as a nail tech. My acrylics always come out amazing, they last for like 4 weeks. All the nail ladies also do a great job with free hand nail designs, I can show them a picture and no matter who it is they do a wonderful job. 10/10 recommend. Great prices as well!!! read more

Love this place!! I first tried going here when I couldn't get in with my manicurist for a pedicure. Well, now I come here regularly and have brought others, including a male friend who has diabetes. He really enjoyed his pedi more than he thought he would! Everyone is so pleasant in this shop and it's so very conveniently located in the Raley's Shopping Center on San Juan. read more

Love coming here every single time! Myle does a great job of manicures & lashes !! Love her so much! I always ask for Kim when I'm getting a pedicure. It' hasn't even been 2 weeks yet and my nails are popping off. I notice. A lot of corners were cut to get the job down fast and cleanliness is subpar. However, the staff was very friendly and this place does have potential. I would recommend they use more sanitary procedures and not skip steps in applying the nails.
