Ordered dinner takeaway here for the first time on a Friday night. We ordered Jocos Totchos, the Caesar Salad with steak, and the Moody Mess. Total came out to $48. What's Hot - Quality. The steak on my Caesar salad was tender and decently flavored. It was slightly pink inside, which I appreciated. It was easy chewing into my steak and it was slightly seasoned, but not overly seasoned and not overly salty. There was plenty of parmesan cheese on my Caesar salad, which added to the flavor. The Jocos Totchos was delish! Plenty of melted cheese and there was even some chili, which surprised me, because it looked like it was an additional add-on that you would have to order. The bread on the Moody Mess was grilled, which added to the flavor of the sandwich. - Portions. Pretty good size portions and we were full when we finished our food. - Takeaway containers. Our food came in styrofoam containers. The Moody Mess had a layer of aluminum foil on the bottom and Jocos Totchos had a layer of parchment paper on the bottom, which was helpful. Salad dressings had their own container and the additional guacamole and salsa were in their own container, as well. Each takeaway container was labeled, which was helpful. During this time of the pandemic, where many of us are ordering more takeaway, it's useful and appreciated to have the takeaway containers labeled, so we're not opening everything to guess what's what. - Service. The food was ready before what was originally anticipated on Uber Eats, which hubby and I definitely appreciated. The food was ready and still warm when we picked it up. All the food containers were stacked inside the plastic bag, and the receipt was taped on the bag, which helped make it clear that it was our order. - Website. They have a pretty good website, which is informational and updated, which is a good thing to have during this time of the pandemic. Hubby and I definitely used this to get a better idea of the menu, pricing, and how the restaurant is currently operating. What's Not - Price. The Moody Mess was $18, Jocos Totchos was $16, and the Caesar Salad with steak was $14. The cost is a little high, but not by much. Just be prepared that even for pub food, this is gonna cost you. Final Answer Pretty worth it to come back.

The food here was all right. I had the chipotle chicken sandwich with fries. I felt like it was very plain. My friends and I got a round of drinks and service was good.

Yo, bring over a stack of Bibles. Wire me up to a lie detector. 'Cause I'm gonna look you straight in the eyes and tell you I just had the very best meatball dish I ever had last night at Joco's. My $10.99 Meatball Sandwich ("Slow cooked Italian meatballs covered in melted Provolone cheese and marinara sauce, served on a toasted French Roll") was so good, and it was so good because the meatballs were amazing. Soft....juicy....intensely flavorful... just outstandingly and deliciously perfect. Just as impressive as the meatballs was the 21 choices that grace Joco's beer taps. You can pick any four for a $12 flight and try a generous sampling of 5 ounces each. I built a flight from a Hefeweissbier from Germay, 21st Amendment El Sully Lager from California, Schofferhoffer Grapefruit Weizen from Germany, and Epic Brewing 825 Nitro Stout from Utah. I loved them all and was pretty surprised at how tasty that German grapefruit beer was ! For dinner we went halfsies on the sandwiches, so I also had the $9.99 Panini with mozzarella and prosciutto. That was an excellent sandwich as well! We really enjoyed Joco's - a nice friendly Irish pub vibe inside. They have live music Wed-Sat after nine (no cover charge), Tuesday trivia, and 25 cent wings on Monday. One beer, one beer flight, and the two sandwiches ran just under $40 after tax and before tip. We walked away as real fans of Joco's.

I'm not sure what I was really expecting when I walked in for the first time, but I felt so beyond welcomed! The environment & atmosphere is so family-like, and the staff were hilarious and gave my friend & I some great drink suggestions. I regret not taking pictures of all of our food, but the salad wraps here are amazing, as were our beautiful Totchos. The drink & food selection here is awesome, & everything came out very soon after ordering. Will definitely be coming back!

We back again on a Friday!! Joco's randomly has free wings with Drinks #Nice

I just feel comfortable at this joint, I love the Live music, wing night and just chillen with the Boo catching a game! Homegirl at the Bar is really nice as well as the owner! Had other options besides wings and it was decent....sliders, fries, sandwiches and beer on tap Hello What more do you need?!?! Wing night hmmm quality of wings are hit or miss...them thangs look skeptical. Hey! 25cents u can't beat it Great chill spot, come on down

It really wouldn't be very fair of me to submit a review of this one at this point since they have so much to offer and all we did today was lunch. It's small and comfortable and there are no less than 7 TVs for your viewing pleasure. Each one had a different game going with the volume on one, which I guess is the one they deem most important. Service was very good but the food was slow. We'll be returning at another time for some music and a little of the Waltham nightlife.

La Chouffe is a must have on draft
    Austin M.

This place has 20 beers on draft....That's on draft! And all of them are primo, trust me. Try the imported draft selection they have. I've been all over the world and they have some seriously great ones. Cough cough.. "la Chouffe". This is my first time on moody st in Waltham and all I wanted was a good beer and I stumbled into a place with amazing beer. The bar food is... well... bar food and bar food is enough said for a place like this. It's small with limited seating but it's definitely worth popping in and experiencing what they have to offer. The service was awesome and friendly and the location seems to be great! Ignore shitty reviews and come in for a real pint of beer and some pub food!

Jake n JOES was perfect to host this at because it is a New England sports bar with plenty of TVs, a perfect game day menu, and a lively atmosphere to enjoy a game with sports decor surrounding. I'm glad they had this Celtics collab. The event was fun, they had free merch at a table handed out by Celtics cheerleaders and Lucky the Leprechaun. We got there towards the end but scored some merch. We did wait for a table since it was a full house for this, but luckily we scored one with a TV in view. My friends and I got dinner, opted out of drinks this round. I got the chicken quesadilla with a side of spanish rice. The quesadilla was pretty good, but the rice was a little undercooked. They also charged extra for a side of sauce which has never happened before so that was a bummer. I wouldn't have got one if I'd known. Oh well. We then split the cookie sundae which was yummy. Cookie was undercooked and a little raw but it was okay. Still tasted okay, food is always good but nothing to write home about. I like it though. The atmosphere and the shared energy of Boston sports fans being able to come together and enjoy a game makes up for the food being above average. I'll still come back and enjoy a game here.

It was built in the 1920s, and the character still oozes from the building. They've made some renovations, but have kept it mostly original which I appreciate. The actual chairs are still everywhere expect for the orchestra seating, and they are sooo comfy. Trivia question: The seats have a wire rack underneath, what was it used for back in the day? Shout out to one of the ushers for this fun question. (I won't spoil the answer). Now, because it is historic, there are some things it doesn't have. One being no screens like at most concert venues. This wasn't too big a deal since the hall is not huge, but something to point out. Also can't bring food or drink inside the space to protect its historic value, which didn't bother me to be honest. This hall is also nice because due to the size, there really isn't a bad seat in the house. The side balconies aren't head on with the stage but it didn't seem to be an issue. I sat in the loge and for being furthest away, I had a clear view. They also had a cash bar in the foyer with drinks and snacks. I liked this venue because it was a quaint space, and it felt like I was going to a live theater, rather than a huge concert. It's classy and makes for a fun night out. I would love to come back and see the Lexington Symphony play here.

Maria Kitidis Mackay and her father George bought the diner in January 2020 and one or both of them are usually working the griddle daily.. as they were when I recently visited. I recently stopped in for breakfast two days in a row while visiting friends in Concord and the food was excellent both times. On my first visit, I had the two-egg platter ($8) with a unique Greek loukaniko sausage (+$7). The next day, I had the same platter with traditional pork sausage links (+$3). Both platters came with home fries and toast, and everything was incredibly fresh, hot, and really tasty. My dining companion also thoroughly enjoyed her meals and the classic diner ambiance. She tried the Florentine benedict ($14), which came topped with perfectly sautéed spinach and tomato, and on the next visit went with the spinach and feta omelet ($13). Our servers stopped by a few times to ensure everything was good. The only minor disappointment we experienced was that our servers didn't offer to refill our coffee, but otherwise, it was a fantastic visit. Maybe I should have asked? It is a terrific experience all around. Highly recommend checking this place out if you want great food, unique history, and a classic diner atmosphere!
