The girls working here are super chatty and sweet!! But, 4 stars for Joe & The Juice because the tunacado is actually delicious. The tuna mousse is so fluffy and creamy, the bread is perfectly thin and crispy and somehow just melts when you eat it. I fully understand the hype. But my issue is the matcha tastes so grassy and bitter every single time and doesn't taste properly stirred...i've tried multiple different locations because i thought it was an accident but every location i go to no matter who makes it always has chunks of matcha and it doesn't taste very authentic either. I went to the Bellevue Square Joe & The Juice because I kept hearing it was similar to those expensive ahhh smoothies from Erewhon in LA so I was excited to try it. Unfortunately the experience was terrible. I ordered the Miami Glow smoothie through the app, and the drink looked NOTHING like the menu photo. The menu drink is bright blue, but what I received was pinkish/brown. I asked the worker about it and showed them the drink, and they told me they were out of the blue powder, like bish wat??? Isn't that literally what makes it a Miami Glow? Instead of apologizing or offering a solution, the employee was super dismissive and kept looking at coworkers for validation while they all just shrugged. No accountability at all. I also ordered a latte for my buddy Eric, and it was basically just milk. Barely any coffee in it. I included a photo because I is genuinely still laughing about how bad it was. The pickup process was also a mess. I ordered online and the app said my order was ready, but when I got there they said it wasn't. I waited about 15 minutes, asked again, and they still said it wasn't ready. After asking a THIRD time, a different employee suddenly found my order and they quickly packed it up and handed it to me like they forgot about it the entire time. Again, no apology or anything. So glad that Joe & the Juice has made a home in Bellevue as I've been a fan of Joe & the Juice when first trying it in Europe. It's a solid spot for healthier options as it's known for their smoothies, juices, lighter fare and wholesome ingredients. I'm a fan. I visited Joe & the Juice at Bell Square, which is where this location is, on the bottom level of what used to be Starbucks. When I visited on a weekday, the place wasn't too busy, but there were patrons inside with their items, and a few people getting takeout. There were a few tables for dining in, but not many. I ordered the Trust Your Gut smoothie, which is made with kefir, fiber powder, strawberries, beetroot, banana, dates and sprout milk. It was a great smoothie, which was what I needed as I had an upset stomach, so it did the trick. Plus, I loved that the smoothie had ingredients that are wholesome and recognizable - not some scientific crap that's artificially produced. I need to come back to try the viral tunacado as I've seen so many people rave about this sandwich and attempt to copycat this one, in addition to several other drinks that I have my eye on. My little sister and I were super excited to check out this new Joe & the Juice location, and from the moment we stepped into the store I was totally obsessed with the aesthetic decor and welcoming staff. Even though we waited in line for about ten minutes, I was so fascinated by the interior decorating and it gave me time to look at their huge menu. The staff were super kind and the woman who took my order was patient with all my questions and substitutions. I love how customisable their drinks are, and how accomodating the staff is about food allergies! I ordered the Beets + Berries smoothie with oat milk and without the banana and honestly I kind of hated it. They told me beforehand that they were out of date puree and I foolishly thought I'd get the smoothie anyway, but I think it definitely benefits from the added sweetness. The oat flavour was super overpowering contributing to a heavy drink experience. I also didn't love the seeds, but I love strawberries so that's on me. My little sister was smarter and changed her order to an Iron Man when she heard they were out of date puree. She loved her juice and honestly, I'm kind of jealous I didn't get the same thing. Staff was nice and we beat the line on a Saturday afternoon! We got the Trust Your Gut smoothie, Iced Oat Spring Fling Matcha Latte, Tunacado sandwich, and Spicy tuna sandwich. I wasn't that impressed by the smoothie and made a mistake with the Spicy tuna sandwich, but I loved the Iced Oat Spring Fling and think their matcha is great! Tunacado is their most famous for a reason but I'm not sure if I would get a sandwich again since I don't really like the hard bread texture. read more

The first time we had it the bread was sooo toasted and hard that it scratched up the top of our mouth, but this time we asked for less toasted which was better. My first experience here, I'd say it's basic and simple. The flavors of the sandwich was good, the type of bread, pickle & sauce stood out the most. Now the portion of the steak is lacking. I felt like each bite I took, it had no outstanding taste of steak because of how thin it is. If I'm paying nearly $16 for a sandwich I expect it to be more meat in it or even a thicker cut than what I had. The photo I included of the sandwich was the best I got. It was only one layer of the thin cut meat and it didn't fully cover the sandwich. The tomato being the thickest layer should say enough on the portioning. Now the juice it was very refreshing, I just didn't enjoy the layer of foam on top though. I would come back but if it's still lacking protein portion, then I'm assuming this sandwich is on the "lighter" side of sandwiches. Total was $29 for the juice & drink before tip. read more

Went during the opening weekend for Joe & the Juice in Bellevue Square (next to Lululemon where Starbucks used to be). I got the green shield juice, which was delicious. The sweetness was more than I expected, but not overpowering. The iced vanilla latte was really really sweet though, and more cinnamon and chai flavored than just vanilla. The staff were busy but they would call out some orders and not others. I think their systems got mixed up but it caused some backlog and confusion. I came in around 1 pm on a Tuesday. When I got there, there was no line but several people waiting on their orders. I was ordering for me and a friend so I got 2 tunacados and 2 green shield juices. It was over $60 after tip which feels pretty expensive for what it was but I'm willing to pay for high quality food. The employees were friendly. It did take 15 minutes to get my juices and sandwiches which felt like a pretty long time for counter service takeout. Next time I might try to order ahead it seemed like several people did that. I drove about 20 minutes to my friend's house with my order and I was worried because tuna can make bread soggy. I was very happy that the bread didn't get soggy at all and the sandwich was delicious! We were very happy with them and want to try the spicy version next. I tried the juice as soon as I got my order, it tasted great but was lukewarm. We ended up pouring them over ice which helped. I had a great experience at Joe & The Juice. The coffee, fresh juices, and matcha are all excellent, and everything tastes super fresh. My absolute favorite is the Tunacado--it's honestly very addicting. The bread they use is unique and perfectly toasted, which makes the sandwich even better. I like to add a little Tabasco for a spicy kick, and it takes it to the next level. The vibe in the shop is upbeat and welcoming, and the customer service is amazing. Everyone there seems genuinely friendly and happy, which makes the whole experience even better. Service is also incredibly fast. Even during a rush, I waited maybe three minutes at most. It seems like the store manager runs the shop very efficiently because everything moves quickly without feeling chaotic. I was greeted with a smile when I walked in and sent off with a smile when I left. Overall, great drinks, great food, awesome atmosphere, and impressively quick service. I placed a mobile order for an iced mocha, and the app indicated it would be ready for pickup in 10 minutes. I arrived shortly after receiving the notification that my order was ready, but the drink was not at the pickup area. I asked an employee about it and was told they were working on it. After waiting an additional 20 minutes, I noticed three iced mochas sitting on the back counter. One was thrown away because the staff did not know whose it was. Five minutes later, I checked in again, and at that point they realized my order had not been made at all. In total, I waited nearly 40 minutes for a drink that was supposed to be ready upon arrival. When I finally received it, and the drink wasn't even good considering it's 7 dollars Additionally, at no point during this experience did any member of the staff offer an apology for the delay or the oversight. The lack of communication, accountability, and basic customer service made the entire situation even more frustrating and disappointing. Never coming back again, I would prefer going to Starbucks they would at least apologize, last time my food was stolen from Starbucks they apologized and got me another one, the customer service from Joe was really disappointing no apologies no respect to customers time read more
