Located in 2nd floor, old starbuck location Service: outstanding, happy ppl Current promo: download and sign up app, you got one time free coffee and a 3days of 15%off your order via app or in person. If you order in person, they will give qr code to scan and pay via your app to get your discount. Limited seating inside, but plenty outside in common eating area. We ordered: Spicy tuna sandwich The Steak sandwich Matcha oat milk latte Feel good juice Green shield juice. They all tasted delicious. Just one note, the bread is crispy, so when you bite into it, it scaped your inner mouth. Otherwise, everything is good. Definitely will come back to try other sandwiches.

    Trust Your Gut Smoothie

So glad that Joe & the Juice has made a home in Bellevue as I've been a fan of Joe & the Juice when first trying it in Europe. It's a solid spot for healthier options as it's known for their smoothies, juices, lighter fare and wholesome ingredients. I'm a fan. I visited Joe & the Juice at Bell Square, which is where this location is, on the bottom level of what used to be Starbucks. When I visited on a weekday, the place wasn't too busy, but there were patrons inside with their items, and a few people getting takeout. There were a few tables for dining in, but not many. I ordered the Trust Your Gut smoothie, which is made with kefir, fiber powder, strawberries, beetroot, banana, dates and sprout milk. It was a great smoothie, which was what I needed as I had an upset stomach, so it did the trick. Plus, I loved that the smoothie had ingredients that are wholesome and recognizable - not some scientific crap that's artificially produced. I need to come back to try the viral tunacado as I've seen so many people rave about this sandwich and attempt to copycat this one, in addition to several other drinks that I have my eye on. Glad to know there's a location nearby. Welcome to Bellevue, Joe & the Juice!

Honey bun matcha and iced spring fling matcha

I've come to this location on two separate occasions, both of which were sadly disappointing. First time, I ordered the popular tunacado sandwich. It was pretty good. I did enjoy the bread. However, I felt that paying $13 for a sandwich I could easily make at home was not worth it. I came back a second time because I've only heard positive reviews of their matcha drinks. I ordered the honey bun matcha latte, and my sister got the spring fling matcha. I noticed that while the workers made our matchas, they were using a PREMADE matcha mixture from a plastic container. The taste of our matchas reflected that.

My little sister and I were super excited to check out this new Joe & the Juice location, and from the moment we stepped into the store I was totally obsessed with the aesthetic decor and welcoming staff. Even though we waited in line for about ten minutes, I was so fascinated by the interior decorating and it gave me time to look at their huge menu. The staff were super kind and the woman who took my order was patient with all my questions and substitutions. I love how customisable their drinks are, and how accomodating the staff is about food allergies! I ordered the Beets + Berries smoothie with oat milk and without the banana and honestly I kind of hated it. They told me beforehand that they were out of date puree and I foolishly thought I'd get the smoothie anyway, but I think it definitely benefits from the added sweetness. The oat flavour was super overpowering contributing to a heavy drink experience. I also didn't love the seeds, but I love strawberries so that's on me. My little sister was smarter and changed her order to an Iron Man when she heard they were out of date puree. She loved her juice and honestly, I'm kind of jealous I didn't get the same thing. I'm so glad there's now a Joe & the Juice now at the mall, my little sister and I are so excited to come back here!!

    Spicy Tuna Sandwich

Staff was nice and we beat the line on a Saturday afternoon! We got the Trust Your Gut smoothie, Iced Oat Spring Fling Matcha Latte, Tunacado sandwich, and Spicy tuna sandwich. I wasn't that impressed by the smoothie and made a mistake with the Spicy tuna sandwich, but I loved the Iced Oat Spring Fling and think their matcha is great! Tunacado is their most famous for a reason but I'm not sure if I would get a sandwich again since I don't really like the hard bread texture.

    Steak sandwich
    Brenda K.

The first time we had it the bread was sooo toasted and hard that it scratched up the top of our mouth, but this time we asked for less toasted which was better. The steak sandwich was very flavorful and well seasoned but not super tender so the whole steak would come out in one bite. The tunacado was refreshing and crisp with the bread's texture. The tuna was not fishy or overpowered with any dressing like mayo on other tuna sandwiches.

I don't eat bread but will allow myself a steak sandwich. The bread is multi grain and ultra thin. The steak is similar to roast beef. It's fresh, The cheese is hard aged white cheese. All ingredients are minimal processed/no processing.

I love the Trust Your Gut smoothie--the combination of berries, beetroot, and dates is perfect. I'm also so happy there's finally a location closer to my area. My gut definitely feels cleaner after drinking it. I also love their Tunacado sandwich and can't wait to come back and try more items. Definitely on the pricier side but it's worth every penny.

My first experience here, I'd say it's basic and simple. The flavors of the sandwich was good, the type of bread, pickle & sauce stood out the most. Now the portion of the steak is lacking. I felt like each bite I took, it had no outstanding taste of steak because of how thin it is. If I'm paying nearly $16 for a sandwich I expect it to be more meat in it or even a thicker cut than what I had. The photo I included of the sandwich was the best I got. It was only one layer of the thin cut meat and it didn't fully cover the sandwich. The tomato being the thickest layer should say enough on the portioning. Now the juice it was very refreshing, I just didn't enjoy the layer of foam on top though. I would come back but if it's still lacking protein portion, then I'm assuming this sandwich is on the "lighter" side of sandwiches. Total was $29 for the juice & drink before tip.

i tried the tunacado for the first time and it was pretty okay -- definitely expecting a lot more. there wasn't a lot of filling and i feel like it could've used more. also a little lackluster? it could've had more pesto/seasoning in general. i know their whole spiel is the thin bread, but it was more like a cracker. will continue making tuna salad sandwiches at home.

    Tunacado and green shield juices

I came in around 1 pm on a Tuesday. When I got there, there was no line but several people waiting on their orders. I was ordering for me and a friend so I got 2 tunacados and 2 green shield juices. It was over $60 after tip which feels pretty expensive for what it was but I'm willing to pay for high quality food. The employees were friendly. It did take 15 minutes to get my juices and sandwiches which felt like a pretty long time for counter service takeout. Next time I might try to order ahead it seemed like several people did that. I drove about 20 minutes to my friend's house with my order and I was worried because tuna can make bread soggy. I was very happy that the bread didn't get soggy at all and the sandwich was delicious! We were very happy with them and want to try the spicy version next. I tried the juice as soon as I got my order, it tasted great but was lukewarm. We ended up pouring them over ice which helped. Overall we really liked it, I would like to return in a few months once they've been opened awhile to see if the speed improves.

Food & drink: (5/5) I got the ube s'more float and my partner got the Thai tea with cream. The float consists of Thai tea on the bottom, ube and tea soft serve on top, and ube marshmallow around the rim. It was my first time ever having OMO and my first time having ube and Thai tea together so I was very intrigued. Needless to say, they made a very good combo. I would describe the flavor as kind of earthy from the tea and custard-like from the ube. The marshmallow was pleasant for the first couple bites but by the end was a little too sweet. I got a sip of my partner's drink and it was also very good, though I can't say that I prefer it over a regular Thai tea without the additional cream. I'm hoping to come back to try the kaya toast and ube hot chocolate. Service: (5/5) We came in a rush at about 7:40pm because we were scared of a potential last call but they actually accepted orders until the very last minute. It's a very small store with only a front counter and one kiosk, and you wait in a line outside. It's definitely a different system compared to most places but they make great use out of their space. There was one worker very efficiently guiding the line and several others behind the counter, making drinks pretty fast.

I absolutely loved the tea flavor, It's strong, floral, and fragrant, something you don't often see. The whipped cream was light, airy, and had a subtle jasmine flavor that really elevated the drink as a whole. I was worried it would be overrated and overpriced, but you can definitely taste the quality difference in the ingredients they use. The drinks alone are honestly a 5/5 for me. One thing that did rub me the wrong way was the service. Despite coming in on a fairly quiet day, there were a few staff members who (in my opinion) acted a bit disrespectful towards other customers. When you come into the store, there's a big order sign at the front of the booth, so most would assume to order from there. On the other side of the store though are two kiosks which make ordering simpler, so I guess they weren't using the actual order booth. I noticed that a line of customers had formed at the order booth but none of the staff were really interacting with them or telling them to use the kiosk instead. They were all kinda just chatting with one another and only alerted them about the kiosk once a customer asked for their attention. Not the most efficient process or positive interaction in my opinion. Despite all that though, the tea is definitely good enough for me to come back.

Parking ended up being a bit of a walk, which had me second-guessing the decision at first--but I'm glad I stuck with it. The moment I walked in, the space felt thoughtfully designed. The flow of the café is one of the best I've experienced--open, comfortable, and easy to navigate. As soon as the door opened, the barista greeted me right away. The counter is positioned close enough that you don't feel awkward hovering like in some cafés where the bar feels miles away. It immediately felt welcoming. I visited on a weekend during a slower period, but since the café sits right next to a college, I can imagine the line spilling out the door during peak hours. At quieter times though, the layout works well--there's enough space for a couple people to wait without crowding the entrance. I ordered a cortado and an almond croissant. The croissant came warmed, and the texture was spot on: fluffy, layered, and not overly greasy. The almond filling had a really nice balance--nutty with just enough sweetness and a hint of salt to round it out. I was told the pastries are made in-house, and it definitely shows. It tasted like something made with care. The cortado itself was solid--pretty classic, nothing overly fancy. One thoughtful touch I appreciated was that it came with sparkling water, which was great for cleansing the palate. The space itself is fairly spacious and works well if you want a quiet moment to sip your coffee. That said, most of the seating is high stools, so it doesn't really feel like the type of place to settle in and study for hours. Overall, I really enjoyed the atmosphere, service, and quality of the food. The one thing that caught me off guard was the price of the croissant at $6.50. It tasted great and I understand prices in this area tend to run higher, especially for house-made pastries--but it's a bit outside what I'd usually spend. So while I definitely think it's good, it might not become a regular stop for me simply due to location and budget. Still, a great find and a pleasant surprise during a routine coffee run.
