Their lunch options are really good if you want something quick and simple but still yummy. Love the hot sandwiches and they come with a yummy small salad (I always pay attention to lettuce quality and they never disappoint lol) But let me tell you THEIR PASTRIES ARE THE BEST I'VE EVER HAD. The sweet sugar/lemon crepe was not good, it just had clumps of brown sugar thrown in the crepe. By clumps, I'm mean like when your brown sugar has been around too long and it starts to clump together. Barely noticed the lemon, sugar clumps overpowered everything. Sat on the patio outside which is indoors and in a really cute little area with other shops inside. Soooo disappointed. $10.95 for an egg, bacon & cheddar croissant that Jack in the Box could do better and for half the price. I would have thought it would at least be decent bacon for that price but sadly not. I also had a tiramisu latte that was underwhelming too. The service was ok but they might benefit from at least one team member with some experience. We were in the area last week and came across this cute and delicious spot! I definitely can not wait to go back and taste more! They had so many choices of treats. I just Ordered a pastry and a crepe for my son. It was all fresh and delicious. The whole area was just a cute center. It was surrounded by other restaurants that I would to go back and try as well. Like a Mexican restaurant. There was underground public parking but it wasn't open we went. I highly suggest stopping by for dinner and come here after for dessert! It was my second time at The French Bakery today and I took my family here for a quick lunch. We ordered bacon, egg, and cheese croissants, an espresso macchiato, and a Vietnamese iced coffee. The croissant sandwich was wonderful and I would definitely order this again. The Vietnamese iced coffee was super good too and will be my go-to drink order at this bakery. For service, the staff at the counter were pretty friendly. You place your order at the counter and if you're dining in, you'll receive a number and your order will be brought to you. If you order to-go, they'll call your name when your order is ready at the front to pick up. Located in Crossroads Shopping Center, the ambiance is cozy and casual. There's seating both inside and outside and it's a great spot to enjoy coffee/food and chat with loved ones. Came here today with some colleagues. For breakfast I had an iced chai latte with a veggie quiche. The chai latte was perfect. The veggie quiche tasted savory, but it was a little rich for my taste. It was also put in a to-go container for some reason when I ordered for here. I found it hard to cut the quiche so I had to ask for a plate. For lunch I had a strawberry French soda with milk, a Parma prosciutto and fig sandwich, and a Nutella shortbread cookie. The French side was tasty. A little bit more syrup would have been nice for my preference. The sandwich was really good with the crunchy bread and the prosciutto. I knew it came with fig, but this made me realize it wasn't my cup of tea to have it in my sandwich. The Nutella shortbread was perfect. The shortbread buttery crumby texture of the cookie with the ooze softness of the Nutella together was perfect. I will definitely come back to try more. read more

I wouldn't have bothered with a review but literally every time (every 9mo?) I go in there to see if they may happen to carry one yet, they act annoyed by my ask. Considering my history of being in customer service, this really bothers me, especially since it is consistent and never the same person which means it is either the type of person they hire or the way they train people. When staying away from home treating yourself fresh French pressed coffee with croissants just comes with the territory. The French Bakery was very close to the hotel we were staying at, and I appreciated the the convenience of ordering ahead of arrival as those cups usually take longer than traditional drip. Upon arrival my husband saw several pastries he added to our order. Our coffee, croissants, and pastries were absolutely wonderful and well worth the wait!! I am addicted to this place! I had a fruit tart yesterday and one today and.... I still want another! Their fruit tart is so delicious. It has whipped cream instead of custard and my favorite part is the tartlet crust! It's lightly covered in white chocolate and then topped with kiwi, strawberry, and tangerine. This bakery is super cute, and located right next to Pure Barre so one of my favorite things to do after a morning class is come to the french bakery for coffee and a pastry! After unable to place the order online because I don't want to be forced given out my home address, I decided to visit the store to place the order in person. [Pro] 1. People working in the store are super nice and friendly. 2. even not required, but barista who is working on drinks, still voluntarily put the mask on. I am always appreciate people who work in front line of the food service, willing to take extra mile and precautionary step to put the mask on while working on food, I really appreciate that. Kind impressed with the speed. :) [Con] 1. Parking could be a bit confusing for new comers 2. Seating area inside the restaurant, and outside the common area, seems like its totally open to customer to do what ever they want, so the whole time I was there, the place feels like taken by customer, and could seen a bit disorganized / mess. Food wise: 1. I really love my soy latte. Its one of the better ones around the area that I have had tasted. 2. Pastry:, we ordered strawberry fresh fruit croissant, and Marionberry cream cheese croissant. Fillings of the two are so tasty, and not overly sweet, huge plus for me. However, I hope the croissant itself could be a bit softer, might work better for me. 1.27.2024 -- Boosh! The Fresh Fruit Tart -- was far better than Metropolitan Market, Whole Foods, and The French Experience (Mercer Island). I would mark it close to Belle (On Main) with far superior presentation and zest. The girl with the glasses who served me was very patient and friendly. She seemed genuine. The busser (male) also was working very hard and efficiently though I did not directly interact with him. MUST have been special imports atypical from the unpolished riff-raff that lurks about Bellevue/Seattle diminishing the air/land/sea quality with their affectations and pretense. Some issues I had with this place: 1. The entryway (dual-entry) flow is a little stagnant -- not clear where to stand to scope the menu or which line to stand to order food. 2. Menu font (titles/content) is small and there is minimal color contrast for marque items. 3. The napkins should be in a dispenser not strewn about. A good one ranges from $60 to $85. 4. Chilly vibes from the barista with the mask -- like she did not want to be there. I suppose folks are not laid off because in order to maintain 'forgiven' loan status for which the company requested $111,453 (2020) the owner must not lay off employees during the defined loan period. It is annoying that this type is so pervasive in the area. 5. Tipflation. Are they requesting tips to pay utilities, debt interest, Refinance EDIL, rent? Are goods marked up to cover these items? If so, what does the tip do? Boost morale? Retain employees? Status quo I suppose. read more

I ordered a custom panini and the Sophie crepe Panini: Pain de mie Black Forest Ham Shredded Gruyere Asparagus Mushrooms Pesto Sophie crepe Strawberries, whipped cream, white chocolate sauce It's pricey for the size of the sandwich which I wouldn't have minded if it was exceptional. It was only ok. The cheese wasn't melted and there wasn't very much. And the ham was semi cold. Pesto sauce wasn't that great I guess because mushrooms and asparagus were good. It is located inside a large glass building, bright with loads of natural light. The bakery was on the first floor, easy to find with tables right by the escalator. They did have some real outdoor seating also. We got Café Au Lait , Slice of Coffee Swiss, and Twice Baked Chocolate Almond Croissant. They were both nice little dessert, not the best I've had, but it was a good way to start the morning. We also had one real dish, savory "Paul" crepe. The filling was almost like chicken salad or tuna salad, only with salmon. This version was interesting, and quite tasty! We enjoyed the breakfast here, so we decided to go back again for another breakfast. This time, we got Marionberry Cream Cheese Croissant, and Slice of Blueberry Cream Cake. The croissant was just a-ok, but the cake was much better than I thought it would be. The crepe of choice for this day was Pierre. It was more simple, but comforting, tasty, and filling. The staffs were not overly friendly, but polite. The coffee was good and the food was tasty. The portion of savory crepe was pretty big, enough to share. Stopped by for a second round of dessert after Royal Bakehouse, I was craving the amazing Nutella shortbread, my favorite item at the French Bakery. Got the shortbread and a short caffè breve, basically a latte made with half & half. The Nutella shortbread was amazing, I did not have it on a long while, it's very simple, almost boring, but it's done right. The shortbread is buttery and of the right consistency, not too soft not too hard, and it goes very well with the thin layer of Nutella in the middle. I love it. The caffè breve was very good, it was not bitter as the usual coffee I get at other FB locations. Very good! I tried other pastries in the past and nothing I tried had the wow factor. Their mille feuille is decent, but the cream is too much heavy cream oriented, I prefer more custard. The croque monsieur is usually very good, I should come back for it soon. read more

Beware! The Elements lot across the street now charges for parking. And if you don't pay in advance the ticket is $76,50. Why post this here, you ask. Because the folks at The French Bakery were aware of the change and made no effort to alert their customers. I have been patronizing the place for well over five years. And yet when I went in over concern about the ticket all I got was, "well there's a sign on the wall". I stopped reading the signs maybe four years ago. They forgot the quiche and billed us for a savory crepe instead of the croissant. It was extremely loud inside and the system to get your food was a little confusing.
