Earlier this week I was kind of forced to order dinner from somewhere that would deliver. It's just my child and I, and my child is five years old with special needs. She was not feeling well and didn't want to go for a ride or a walk. Ordered chicken tender and fries for her and mozzarella sticks for us to share. Unfortunately, the mozzy sticks were so over cooked that there wasn't any cheese inside of the sticks anymore. In other words, they were inedible. At $6.25 for an order of inedible mozzarella sticks, I think it will be a while before we try them again. read more

Well, normally I do not complain, but Come on J and V. Ordered a large cheese pizza and small antipasta salad. I had to repeat my credit card number 4 times , which I assumed she was a new employee. So I said , no biggie. ! 1 and1/2 hour later no food yet, so I called, the girl who took my order said it was pick up, I specifally asked for delivery to make sure they were doing it. She said, "yes"So when i called back , they told me it was marked pick up, another mistake. It arrived almost 9 pm, COLD, and a large antipasta salad and I ordered a small. Not for nothing, how about a discount Joe's, Eating cold pizza watching the game. I won't order for delivery here ever again. Delivery boy was very nice, I even tipped him. read more

I've been a loyal Joe and Vinnys customer for years. Their pizza is easily the best in the area I am very impressed with their commitment to wearing PPE (masks and gloves) in this pandemic. Their staff is friendly and very customer service oriented. I highly recommend getting fresh garlic on your pizza as well (something that many places do not offer). Very disappointing. All the Sauces were bland on different foods. Wings were greasy and bland. Fried mushrooms had alot of breading and very little mushroom and they were bland as well. Manicotti was overdone and mushy. Marinara was watery and bland. The salad was just lettuce and a tomato and the ranch dressing was watery. We recently started eating dinner here. The dining room is in the back. There is a parking lot in the back of the building and you can walk right into the restaurant from back there and seat yourself in the dining room. Be careful outside ... The parking lot needs repair. I think it's a village-owned lot and not the restaurant's responsibility. The dining room itself leaves a lot to be desired. Several booths wrap around the walls of the room. In the middle of the room you will find some tables with folding metal chairs. So why do we go there about once a week for dinner? The food. It is very good and you get large portions. I have ordered the Chicken Parmesan dinner frequently. It is delicious and there is enough to take home for another meal. It is served with a side salad and bread. The salad is better than most side salads you get out. Plenty of cheese and vegetables. I have also recently tried their cold subs. The mixed meat and the chicken tender subs are both really good. Fresh bread, plenty of meat and cheese (for my taste). When I order take out, I generally get their Chicken Tender Salad. I order the large portion. Again, it's very good because of the things they put on it. Plenty of chicken, cubes of cheese, tomato, cucumber, onion, etc. It comes with Italian bread. The staff out front taking to-go orders on the phone and giving you your order when you pick it up is your typical teenage staff. They provide adequate service but aren't overly friendly. The waitresses back in the dining room are very good. They check on you frequently, are very friendly and provide a pleasant experience. read more

Joe & Vinny's has always been a reliable source for decent pizza in Sidney. It's relatively inexpensive, tastes great, and isn't overly greasy. They make a solid cheese pizza, and have good non-traditional ones like chicken wing pizza. I'm not a huge fan of their wings (I prefer a thicker sauce that sticks to the chicken wings, and they don't seem to make the wings spicy enough for my liking) but have always been happy with their pizza, garlic knots, and calzones/stromboli. read more

I would come back here. This isn't too far from my grandparent in law's house so we stopped here for lunch. It was around my 2 year old's nap time so he was a little crazy, but we did not get any grief whatsoever from the waitress; she even brought his food out first. Three of us got calzones and my mother in law got a salad. While I've had better calzones, my father in law raved about his and said it was better than the ones he gets in New York City. I think the fact that I got green peppers in mine made it a bit watery. Still, it didn't stop me from eating it and taking the rest home. The pizza by the slice was very good; I'd go back for that alone. read more

Came over 4th of July weekend. Walked in and hotter than heck, no AC. its a typical pizzeria joint with counter service and soda pop up front with two dilapidated laminate booths to sit in. There's a main dining room out back that looks like the worst cafeteria I ever ate in.....uncomfortable laminate booths crammed in on top of each other..... No AC back here either. The pizza slices on display looked dried out like it had been sitting there for hours....we lasted a total of 10 minutes. Sat down ordered drinks....and watched the sweat roll down our face....looked at each other and said what the hell are we doing here? Got up and went to Roma's....I recommend you do the same. read more

Look I purchase pizza, wings and stromboli from there at least once a month since I have lived in sidney since January of 2019. Tonight I call in my order as usual for a 45 minute pickup I stop in at the 40 minute mark and No 4 Strombolis I was told by the person in charge a girl named Maddy I believe very friendly and hospitable as always she says I am sorry he didn't see your order slip and would have them ready in 10 minutes. It was a nice gesture put I needed to be home by 6:30 and it was already 6:15 and that is why I placed my order at 5:30. Like I said I understand the issue but I looked around and you have 7 people working and not a soul in the restaurant but me? I will not bother purchasing a damn thing from them ever again i will go elsewhere period!! They lost me as a patron. I spoke with the owner and he reassured me he would take care of it. But I still didn't get my 4 Strombolis in the 45 minutes and I feel that my money wasn't good enough for Joe Vinny's and you lost me as a customer and I will post it to other sites as well. The owner did say he wanted to pay for next dinner although I appreciate the gesture I still didn't have the dinner for my kids at home that they were expecting at 6:30!! read more

I ordered a meat lovers large pizza and wanted them to addI onion and broccoli and extra cheese. I also ordered fried cauliflower. My bill came to over $27. I wanted to eat the fried cauliflower there, while I was waiting for the pizza because the pizza was for supper. I was expecting them to make me a fresh pizza. I never got the fried cauliflower Until after the pizza. So by the time I got to eat the fried cauliflower they were cold and greasy. About 15 minutes have passed bye and said my pizza was done. I thought this is quick compared to what you think a fresh pizza would take. I even questioned them, are you sure this is my pie and the waitress said yes, so I said OK and I left. I Went to check out the pizza to make sure it really was mine. As was driving away I thought I'd try a piece of broccoli so I want to taste it it was ccld. I continue to drive I said oh they must of forgot to put the broccoli on and just added it on top. Got home and went to cut the pie up and to reheat it for supper and all the toppings fell off of that pie all of them. And with there was no extra cheese second late all the meat toppings the onion the broccoli we're just sitting on top of a cheese pizza. They never made me a real pie had they done that everything would have cooked together instead of just Sitting on top. I then realized they did not make me a fresh pie but they used a pie that was already cooked and added the toppings over $27 and I couldn't even get a fresh pie. I will not recommend this place to anyone and I certainly will not buy anything there again my review this place is bad. read more

We will drive from nearby Norwich to order this pizzeria's antipasto and wings, they are out of this world. Pizza is also great usally order a small one to take home. Have some great combo's eg Lg Pizza, wings and Antipasto, enough to feed a large family for a very reasonable price. Staff is very accomodating. Really enjoy Joe & Vinny's, really beats the ones we have in Norwich hands down. read more
