Waited over 45 minutes for pizza. Terrible service, waiter asked what I wanted to drink and I never got it.

Absolutely INCONCEIVABLE how amazing this place is! We…read morerecently stayed in the area for a youth baseball tournament in Cooperstown and ended up eating here THREE nights in a row--that is how phenomenal it is. The food is incredible. The owner and chef is immensely talented, serving up fresh, farm-to-table dishes. Because everything is so fresh, the specifics change nightly, but everything we ordered was a huge win. The beef carpaccio was dynamite, and the Prosciutto Pizza, house-made focaccia bread, "farm goodies," bolognese, hangar steak, and caprese ravioli were all absolutely delicious. You can taste the quality and care in every single bite. (Sorry no pics...we were too busy eating!) Beyond the stellar food, the cocktail menu is an absolute blast. They have a whole lineup of delicious, creative craft drinks with "The Princess Bride" themed names! Trying the different drinks became half the fun of our dinners. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the service. We had a server named Beth whom we absolutely loved. By the third night, she knew exactly what my daughter wanted to drink as soon as we sat down! The owners and the entire staff are warm, welcoming, and treat you like family. If you are anywhere near Oneonta or Cooperstown, do yourself a huge favor and eat here. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town!

This is a perfect example of why you shouldn't judge a book by its cover. From the outside, the…read morerestaurant is a bit unusual. It's an older house painted red with black trim, featuring a newer deck that, at least when we visited, had no furniture on it. At first glance, you might assume it's a neighborhood sports bar or a casual local hangout. Step inside, however, and you'll find something completely different. The atmosphere is warm, intimate, and inviting, with a classic dining ambiance that makes it feel like a hidden gem tucked away in the neighborhood. We were in Oneonta for Cooperstown All Star Village and were excited to discover this cozy farm-to-table restaurant. The food was excellent, and the setting made for a memorable dining experience. We started with the Crab Puffs, made with empanada dough, crab rangoon filling, and a jalapeño-green onion emulsion. They were creative, flavorful, and a great way to begin the meal. For our entrée, we shared the daily fish special, halibut served with farm-fresh potatoes and carrots. The fish was perfectly cooked, and the fresh ingredients really showcased the farm-to-table concept. The dish was simple, fresh, and delicious. To finish the meal, we shared the Crème Brûlée for dessert. It was outstanding, with a perfectly caramelized sugar crust and a rich, creamy custard that provided the perfect ending to an excellent dinner. Despite the restaurant being packed, we were seated immediately and received excellent service throughout the evening. The staff was attentive, friendly, and kept everything running smoothly. The drink menu was another highlight, offering a solid selection of craft beers, wines, and cocktails. Overall, this was one of the best meals we had during our trip. Great food, excellent service, a cozy atmosphere, and a unique setting make this restaurant well worth seeking out if you're in Oneonta.

I really wanted to like this place. We were hyped after looking them up on the web and reading…read morereviews.. The garlic knots were fire.. hot, fresh, crunchy on the outside and perfectly soft on the inside. They were served in a boat of melted garlic butter, zero complaints here about that. The pizza was mediocre. Watery sauce.. the crust was good, but nothing to write home about. Toppings were half cheese, half pepperoni. Wings would have been better if they were fried extra crispy like I had asked, but they were cooked through so that's good... I got medium buffalo and it was just mediocre. Ranch and bleu cheese were Ken's brand, so do with that what you will. Mozzarella sticks were just like anything you can get anywhere else. The marinara was watery, but had potential as the flavor was okay. We weren't a fan of the place itself.. customer service was wonky with them still having a tip jar out.. mind you it is young people working there, so keep that in consideration. They were polite, but they definitely weren't running to give you more than minimal service. We were also given a stack of plates, the bottom one was full of dishwater. I'm a human being so I laughed it off, it's not a huge deal, but it was part of the Sal's journey. Overall a very underwhelming experience. Not surprised for the area, but I'm always hopeful and open to trying new places. If I ever went back it would be strictly for the garlic knots and that's it.
