Also the pizza ovens are the old school variety that virtually every respectable Italian pizza ever makes their pies in. Nor some rubber dough conveyor belt place. I personally order the pizza crispy and it comes out perfect every time, day or night If you like pasta they have you covered as well. Be sure to get the cheesy bread with both the marinara sauce and the creamy Alfredo and enjoy them all mixed up. It's the best. Thanks Ray for making such a cool spot for us locals.

The big, complimentary salads for both were very good and fresh with seemingly homemade blue cheese dressing or a good brand. The chicken cutlets in both orders were spot-on in how they were made and sauce can't hide that much imo, bc you can still tell. The deep brown, breaded layers, tender inside and a tingle of sweetness to their profile too. In terms of feel, a bit of crunch and a bit of chew. Great balance in that. The cream sauces were buttery and rich as can be with just the right thickness. The Verona had a great tomato basil vibe, while the Torino one had a whiter wine with a slightly spicy vibe to it. The mushrooms were very good and tasty being cut right and cooked nicely. The noodles in the Torino were fresh and doughy, while the cheese ravioli in the Verona were so soft, creamy in feel and homemade for sure. On a note, the garlic baguette bread that comes with meals here is so good as well. I must still admit, I really truly miss the Bolognese and Tiramisu that was yellow colored served in a glass chalice years ago when Mama Jordana was running this cafe. To this day; I have never had a Bolognese or Tiramisu that could equal her recipes for those. The Verona, Mama Mia, Lasagna, Torino, Piccata and Parmesan are still awesome though. Only Santa Barbara Cafe here, Frenchie's in Clear Lake and Prima Pasta in Houston make chicken parm worth getting imo too. The service from both servers on each of the two evenings I went was very welcoming, attentive, friendly and efficient.

Service is friendly, consistent, and always excellent. It's a great place for a business lunch or a date night. The menu is unique and appropriately very coastal. While there are staples common to most Italian restaurants, Antonio's has an abundant selection of lighter (healthier) options not so dependent on the typical heavy sauces, with lots of seafood and delicious fresh vegetables. I ordered a meal that arrived undercooked, so much so that the dough was still raw in the middle. It wasn't just slightly underdone it was doughy and inedible. I brought it to the staff's attention & I was told to order something else, and then I was charged for the replacement meal, which cost nearly twice as much as my original order. There was no discount, no adjustment, and no effort to make up for the mistake. In the end, we paid significantly more because the restaurant served an inedible meal. That's simply not acceptable. The one bright spot was our server. She was friendly, attentive, and did everything she could to help. This experience is in no way a reflection of her service she was wonderful. The issue was entirely with how the heck am I paying double for my meal that was wrong. Unfortunately, the lack of quality control and poor customer service in resolving the problem means I won't be returning. When a restaurant makes a mistake, customers shouldn't have to pay extra because of it. Oh and let me add that apparently we weren't the first person to complain about it & it look super long.
