Hands down the single BEST New York style pizza you'll ever have in LA. The flavor and texture of the crust is insane. The sauce is perfect. The smell will have you on your knees it's so unbelievably good. And when I tell you I've never had a bad bite here. (I have many client's from NY say this is the only spot they'll get pizza from in all LA.) Their garlic knots with marinara also slap. Inside is efficient and spotless. The staff is the best part, shout out to Ivan for always being awesome and friendly. Option to order half and half (choose two different styles) with each pie you get. We are hard core fans of the cheese, tomato, and basil so ordered half-fresh mozzarella and half-Caprese. This is my favorite Joes Pizza location outside of NY! Small spot, quick street parking, delightful employees and fast service. Our pie is always pipping hot and absolutely delicious! I was in the area and walked by the place and decided to have a slice. It is a small shop with counter service with a few tables inside and out front. I ordered a slice of pepperoni, and my partner had a slice of cheese. I was surprised at how reasonable the prices were, especially for Beverly Hills. We did a pizza crawl with a group of friends and I really enjoyed my slice of pizza. I can't give it a 5.0 because I felt it was a little too thick of a crust, but I had the white pizza with spinach and added anchovies. I would go here pretty often when I worked nearby! The store is small, but the pizza is good (could sometimes use more sauce), I love the dough (nice and thin and crispy), and the cheese pizza definitely satisfies my cravings. It is a wee bit pricey for a just a slice of cheese (I think around ~$4-5?), but we're in Beverly Hills, so I guess it makes sense. Definitely not good as the Joe's in NYC but I'm still glad we have Joe's in LA to satisfy that NYC slice craving. Also service is quick, pizza usually comes out fast. I had recently seen an episode BuzzFeedVideo for the series Worth It (2017). This was featured for their pizza episode in NY. I was surprised to know this location existed and is so popular in NY that I had to try. Especially considering the episode aired so long ago, however clearly it has stood it's test in time. Staff was friendly and helpful when we walked in. The place itself is conveniently located near city parking lot that offers free 1 hour as well as meters. The place is small but they have a few tables inside and outside. The prices overall seem reasonable for a slice however maybe I was expecting more based on the episode I saw. They also didn't seem to be as filling as other NY style pizza's I have had. They were more on the thin side but were delicious. Had their pepporoni and caprese. Really good NY style pizza spot in the heart of the crazy traffic Beverly Hills area. The service is fast and friendly. The spot itself is pretty small with a few small tables for inside sitting and a couple of high tops for sitting out front. This space is more friendly for the dine on the go / take out crowd. I've had their pizza at a Cinespia event and although it was tasty, I wanted to go in and a slice straight from the source. Unsurprisingly, it was better straight out of the oven! Just a note and I want to preface by saying I'm a big fan of this place... but I was sort of expecting something short of a religious experience because of the way I've seen some NY transplants talk about this place in LA food discussions with the use of hyperbole (e.g. the usual LA doesn't have good pizza, bagels, etc. etc.), which I feel almost does fine places like Joe's a disservice with regard to expectations. This is coming from a person who never lived in NYC so I may be missing some nostalgic aspect (although I've been quite a bit for work over the years and for the record, my personal fave there was Di Fara's). I actually have a fave NY style place in LA but will omit it here for the respect of this place. If you are looking for a great NY slice and for a reasonable price for a meal in general this is a great spot. Parking/ traffic: this area is one of my least favorite places to drive in and drive to. Parking could be a nightmare. Although during my recent visit, it was on the later side on a weekday. So it wasn't nearly as bad as a previous visit to the area on a weekend. I think better than most places because I can taste a good crust underneath unlike some places that has this weird taste. Ingredients are good on the pizza because now I can taste it instead of focusing on a weird dough taste. There are a few choices to choose from such as white pizza, cheese pizza, pepperoni and jalapeños pizza, but I wanted the vegetarian pizza and pepperoni pizza. I like everything on the pizza so if I could, it would have sausage, pepperoni and not on the vegetarian or vegetable pizza. Good way to gauge pizza place is with the pepperoni pizza. read more

I would probably order spinach as well next time, make sure to ask for one or two extra marinara sauces with your order and load up on your choice of spices as you walk out. Delicious pizza and salad! We ordered from here for an office lunch and everyone was thrilled. I have to say my favorite was the one I got for myself, gluten free with mushroom and onions on top. The sauces and flavors were on point, salads were excellent. my personal preference is to have thinner dough for pizza than this, not sure if they offer that. What seems like an out-of-place pizza spot in Beverly Hills is home to my favorite pizza in California. I first went to Joe's Pizza on July 3rd on a drive from Joshua Tree to San Fransisco. I was hungry, tired, and in deep need of something delicious. When I saw that there was a pizza spot I stopped and stared. there were about 10 seats in the store, two tables outside it, and a standing table as well. How could this place be as highly rated as it is? I ordered the pepperoni pizza, cheese, and margarita. and wow. every bite I took was better than the one before. The sauce-to-cheese ratio was legendary. The pizzas were tastefully oily and had a crust that made you savor every bite. I came to the conclusion that I may have been too hungry to have an honest and unbiased opinion of the spot so I continued the day did some shopping and got a slice on my way out back towards San Francisco. I'm currently in southern California almost two months later, this was my first stop. Joe's Pizza is my favorite pizza place in California, and I challenge someone to show me a better one. read more
