O'Gusto is one of the food stalls at Westfield Century City Mall food court. Their food items looked so good on the menu. I couldn't resist, but to grab something here to-go. This makes it our fifth stop in our food adventure. It's a pizza and pasta spot. Menu is very basic with a good handful of choices. Staff was friendly and welcoming. I originally wanted to get an 8" veggie pizza, but for a few dollars more, I could get a 12" veggie pizza. My eyes were bigger than my tummy. After they rang up the 8" veggie pizza, I changed my mind. The lady staff was accommodating to make the change. Thank you Miss! In addition to the 12" Veggie Pizza, I also got one Veggie Provencal with penne pasta. Food looked amazing and portions were fantastic. But looks can be deceiving. Unfortunately, there was no flavor or taste to the pizza and pasta. Both were bland. How can marinara sauce not be seasoned? It seemed like they just poured plain tomato sauce straight from a jar. I was about to give this review a 2 stars, but since the lady staff was accommodating, I boosted it up to 3 stars. They really need to invest in better seasoning. When it comes to thin crust pizzas, it has to be that good and have flavor. I got to try this place in the food court in the Westfield Century City mall and was craving pizza. I ordered the chicken one, the chicken was nice and tender, it included mushrooms (earthy and umami), basil and oregano so herby and little freshness, the right amount of cheese and tomato sauce ratio. It wasn't too greasy and heavy. It's better to eat fresh right after its cook for sure! The service is a few minutes when it's not busy. It's in the food court with many other restaurants so it'll be noisy, that's typical. Plenty of seats!!! read more

This place is in the food court. Originally when I was here, I was thinking of going to California Pizza Kitchen, but they were closed. I don't like to go to Eataly because I think their food at their restaurants are kinda overpriced and not that great either. So I went here, and honestly... It's probably better than Eataly (and a lot cheaper too). I got the fettuccini Alfredo which had so much flavor and generous portions of chicken. In addition, the mushroom pizza. They have much better pizzas here, but we got the mushroom pizza this time around. There was nothing particularly wrong with the mushroom pizza. They just have better pizzas in other flavors, like pepperoni. But that's how it is everywhere. What I love about this spot is in addition to the chili flakes and Parmesan, they also give you chili oil. I love chili oil and theirs is really good. If you make it to the century city food court, definitely give this place a try. The service is quick and the ambiance is that of a food court, but the food is great! read more

One and done unfortunately for this place - 4 stars is being way too generous. My pizza was NOT made well done as requested and arrived cold - perhaps thermal carriers should be used ! This place has a good variety of different pastas and I like that you can choose which pasta you want. The chicken was the same kind of chicken you can get on a pizza, so of the boiled chunk variety. I only had the garlic cream and I could see they make it to order so it came out really hot. The garlic cream was good and hit the spot, also had good portions. I've had better quick service pasta but this was good enough if a little pricey. Noodles were good and al dente. Regular customer here but really disappointed today. ordered spaghetti bolognese like always, they gave me linguine pasta that's way overcooked! Complained to the cashier and she had the nerve to say that that's their spaghetti. Then she and the cooked just laughed instead of offering a replacement. Be aware: O'Gusto adds a random 15-cent charge to all orders--just because they can. This isn't tax, it's not a tip, and it's not labeled as any kind of service fee. It's just an extra charge that no one explains, and it's not disclosed anywhere on the menu or receipt until you look closely. Sure, it's only 15 cents, but it's the principle. If a business is going to tack on hidden fees, what else are they doing behind the scenes? It feels shady, and it left a bad taste in my mouth--before I even got to the pizza. Customers deserve transparency. If there's a legitimate reason for the fee, just say so. Otherwise, it comes off as sneaky and unnecessary. I haven't been to the foodcourt area in a while, but a co-worker was telling me about a new pizza/pasta place that had opened next to Massis Kabob. Of course after hearing 'pasta', I knew I'd be picking up food there later. Location was easy; they are at the far end on the side opposite the busy lines of Chick-Fil-A, Chipotle, etc. The menu here was easy to read with their selections, and you can modify things to your liking. So far I've been here three times: -Penne Bolognese (minus mushrooms) -Spaghetti Provencal (minus eggplant) -Create your own 8" pizza where you can choose your sauce and up to three toppings (I did tomato sauce with ground beef and fresh basil) I've enjoyed everything so far from here, and the workers are friendly. It's great to have this option of a clean open space since serving this kind of food since we were lacking a quick pizza/pasta place in this mall (besides CPK and Gelson's offerings of pizza). The prices are also very reasonable, so I'm very happy to have this as an option here in Century City. Welcome to Westfield Century City! read more

I took my brief lunch break here. I arrived ready, placed my order, a small 8in pepperoni, and orange soda. I was the only customer at the time. After 10 min, my food hadn't been started. After 15, it finally landed on the oven conveyer belt. Frustrated, I asked if everything was ok. She said she was sorry and began to make my drink- handing me the wrong soda. (Again, only customer). A few more minutes went by before she pulled it out prematurely. The sauce was cold. If the cook hadn't been chatting and moving at the pace of a glacier, my food would have been on time and the correct temperature. If the register person had been paying attention, she would have gotten my drink correct. None of this is worth a negative yelp review on their own, just annoying. But it was the cook's smirk at me from the back which offended me the most. Your service was terrible and you're smiling about it? Who cares how the food tastes when the staff has no desire to perform well? Do Better. $13 for a small cold plate and the wrong drink is not worth returning for. read more

Absolutely love the food here! It is both affordable and delicious. The staff were super friendly with taking my order and preparing it quick so I would definitely recommend if you're hungry for a quick bite and stopping by the food court! I also just love being able to sit in the nice open space in front of the food court to enjoy my food. I got the O'gusto special pizza definitely recommend getting the bigger size because you get more bang for your buck and if you don't finish it you can always eat it at home later ! The only thing that surprised me was that the sausage was actually hot dog. Kind of strange but it tasted good anyway. Another strange thing is that the cook kept making awkward eye contact with us while we were eating like he really straight up watched us eat the food and we felt soooo awkward lol - id sit somewhere farther next time. The mushroom and beef pizza was good too. I like that their pizza isn't too doughy. The food came out fairly quickly. If you aren't familiar with this mall, this place can be incredibly hard to find. It is diagonally across from shake shack, tucked away at the inner corner of the dining section near chik fil a and massis kabob. Overall pretty good for the price. We paid $16 each between 4 people.
