HONEY BEE drink - Patron Silver, mr.black.,licor 43 ,mancino chinato, amaro sfumato, spiced ginger bitters ,& salted honey cream
    Marilyn G.

We were at the Bakery nearby when we decided to visit DANTE BEVERLY HILLS. It's located on the rooftop of the Maybourne Hotel, Beverly Hills. They have a small outdoor seating area with a beautiful view of Beverly Hills . We chose the Indoor one, 'coz I liked the look of their Ceiling, the Art on it was beautiful. We spotted what we liked right away on their menu and ordered the following : *HONEY BEE cocktail *MARE MISTO *FRUTTI DI MARE *PORK CHOP *WHOLE BRANZINO *CARROT CAKE My HONEY BEE was so delicious, it's a strong liquor, but deliciously made. I love the Dantes Beverly Hills wording on my drink, it's nice. For our APPETIZER we had the MARE MISTO, this one was seasoned very well, it had just the right amount of Salt on it, it was Crispy and very Tasty, and the Seafood on it was in big sizes, especially the shrimp. The FRUITY DI MARE is a bit of a small portion for my husband, but for me, the portion would have been big enough if I had that plate. Not so wow on the taste, but the seafood is once again big in size. My sons said he liked his PORK CHOP, it was not dry at all and he said it was good. He didn't eat the Beans 'coz my son doesn't really eat any kind of Beans at all, so I ended up eating those and it's pretty good beans. My BRANZINO, I love ordering Branzino at any restaurant I go to if they have it on their Menu. This Branzino was very simple and there's nothing much to say besides that it's just a grilled Fish, they could have added some good seasoning to it or flavored it more. I ate so many Branzino with a nice seasoning at other restaurants I've been to. I'm not saying that the Branzino here is bad, it's just made so simple that it needed more flavor. Now for the dessert, their CARROT CAKE was so delicious. Their carrot cake here was not so sweet and it's really good. For the Service, we received great service from everyone who approached our table. They have very friendly staff here. Our server Elias is very awesome. For the parking, either use their Hotel Valet parking or Side street parking, or at a walking distance there is a paid building for parking.

Came here for quick drinks with a friend without reservations. We were able to find a seat at the bar and eat a small appetizer! The service was quick and attentive. It was very busy this Saturday night we came The ambiance was dimly lit for dinner, busy, and loud. The restaurant was small to medium party friendly They had NA options for drinks which I ordered and my friend ordered a dirty martini

Popped up on a bustling Sunday morning with no reservation...the hostess was amazing a got us in to a patio table with an agreement thay we could finish up in 90 minutes. For the most part the service team was attentive an pleasant, brining over a stool.for my large handbag brought a smile to my face!! We worked our way though a couple of the billings (jist okay) started with the housemade banana bread served with a side of whipped ricotta and honeycomb. FABULOUS!! Breakfast was lox and bagels..the mixed schmear was everything..wanted more. We also shared the $32 BLTA..average but super fresh and wonderfully creamy chunks of avocado made the sandwich. Id go back for the views and to try their flafbreads.

This is such a dreamy spot for martini sipping with someone you have a lot to talk about with. The large low profile booths and painted dome ceiling with the massive clear view in the dining room gives such a grandiose first impression. It really feels like you're on top of the world. Came in for lunch and had delicious oysters and ragú pasta and carrots and shishito peppers and several many $10 happy hour martinis. We were celebrating my friend's bday and they brought us a tiramisu with a candle in it and prosecco!

Dante is located on the top floor of the Maybourne Hotel which is situated in a central part of Beverly Hills and consists of a large plaza with outdoor seating at the Cafe, Whisky bar, fountains and sculpture. Dante's opens up into a long dining area and a long this outdoor patio. We sat outdoors with the views and although it was a warm day, it was pleasant. I ordered the Pork Chop that was GF and we shared the following sides: BERKSHIRE PORK CHOP cannellini beans, apple mostarda & cranberry compote BROCCOLINI Sicilian olive oil & lemon (v. gf can be made vg) MIXED MUSHROOMS cremini, maitake & oyster mushrooms with garlic, shallots For dessert I couldn't indulge but my business partners shared a light Basque Cheesecake. The portions were so large I had another meal with the pork chops and sides. The pork chop was delicious with the compote of cranberry and apple mustards adding a sweet and tart taste to a very tasty chop. The sides were delicious so there were no complaints to an excellent meal with great conversation.

Was around Rodeo and had Dante on my places to eat at most, so decided no time like the present, made a quick reservation and headed over. Rooftop spot with nice ambiance and views of the Beverly area. We were able to be seated next to the terrace, so there was a nice breeze and views to start the meal. We began with cocktails, the Pornstar 2.0 and a Mai Tai. The Pornstar is a vodka and rum based martini with guava, passion fruit, lime and vanilla. Very flavorful, just makes your mouth happy. The Mai Tai was your classic version and well balanced. Fit for, we started with the oysters. Not sure flavorful, not sure where they were from or what species of otster, but they were not memorable. For entrees, the Frutti di Mare is a pasta dish with lobster, clams, calamari and tiger prawns. Ample amounts of shellfish in the dish, but, outside of that, something felt missing with the flavor. The butternut squash agnolotti, on the other hand, was delicious. The pasta came with brown butter, hazelnut, fresh sage, lemon zest, lemon juice, white wine and black pepper. There was that great flavor from the brown butter mixed with the butternut squash, and texture with the hazelnut, with the same and lemon zest making it all pop. Just a great dish, would highly recommend it! Overall, cool rooftop spot with nice vibes and nice cocktails. A little on the pricier side as two entrees, two drinks and six oysters came to over $200. I'd skip on the oysters and Frutti di Mare but absolutely get the angolotti again.

Pros: - Service was great - Views were breathtaking - Very chill and cozy vibes at night - Blood orange mocktail was refreshing Cons: - Came here specifically for the pizza and they mentioned their oven has been out for months. I'm not sure how this isn't something they can't fix based on how much they charge for food + 20% service charge. - Wanted to order mac and cheese as a side and they told me they're not making it. - Food was good, but just okay. It wasn't anything too special.

Got the chance to come in for our anniversary and was super excited. To start, the view is beautiful! We went on a slightly foggy night and it made the Hollywood hills look picturesque. We were a little disappointed with the menu options, as we came in to try the pizza that we had seen on social media only to be told that the oven was not working temporarily. We also asked about the mac n cheese (which was on the physical menu) but were told that it wasn't available. A little weird for an upscale location like Beverly Hills Dante. I ended up getting steak frites which were really good and ended up being a fun time overall

Came here for drinks while in town. We had drinks only. The vibes were cool and the piano was playing as we sat. The service was a bit slow, but It was nice overall. We wanted to order pizza but the oven wasn't working. The $10 martinis were a hit!

Food, drinks, view, ambiance were perfect however staff was lacking manners or attention to customer service. We ordered the Caesar salad with salmon, and the fungi pizza which were delicious!

Giving a 5 for the experience! Was able to walk in and get a table at 5:30 pm on a week day. The ambiance was gorgeous! Think old money chic. Great opportunity to wear something super cute and be fancy! Not everyone was dressed up though. Views are stunning and drinks were delish!! I highly recommend the Dante Martini! Food was overall ok. Here's what we ordered: Burrata 9/10- best dish we had but you can't really mess it up. Kale chicken Caesar salad 5/10- the salad itself was great but the chicken tasted like fish. The chicken looked like it was going to be so good but somehow fishy? Brown butter and sage agnolotti 5/10- underwhelming. I'd suggest another dish. So happy I came here but I'd be happy with just drinks, views and appetizers. They also serve pizzas but it was crossed out when I went. I would have ordered the pizza and my whole review of food could have been different!

To say that I was disappointed would be an understatement. I've been wanting to try Dante for a while now and thought that my birthday would be the perfect occasion to do so. I booked my reservation on Resy and made sure that I chose the option that I was celebrating my Birthday during this dinner. It gave me a few options for where I wanted to be seated. I saw: Dining Room, Outdoor, and Al Fresco Patio. I found this restaurant on TikTok and was enamored by the view from this rooftop. I wanted to make sure I booked the correct spot, so I looked up "Dante Al Fresco Patio" in Google just to make sure. From the Google photos, it looked about right, so I booked the Patio. When I arrived, I realized that I made a mistake on the seating I chose. We arrived and greeted the hostess. I took a video of the dining room because it looked absolutely beautiful with the view in the background. The hostess grabbed menus and took us to the opposite side where the pool is. This shocked me since I thought I booked the right spot. I asked, "Did I book for this side?" with a concerning tone, and she just said "Yes". I was immediately upset because of this mistake, but I did not want it to ruin my night. I do wish the hostess was less dismissive as I did look visually upset about this. We went on to order our appetizer, the Tuna Crudo. It came out great. It was delicious, so I had high hopes for the food. I thought that the food would make up for the fact that the poolside was a completely different vibe that I wanted for my Birthday dinner. It was definitely a more casual vibe. We didn't feel that our waitress was very attentive to us. After our appetizer, we had to wait a minute to put in our orders for the entrees. Meanwhile, a party next to us sat of 2 white women. They got all of their food quickly and one of them even ordered the same entree as me. My boyfriend ordered the Steak Frites. It came out first and my Bucatini came out maybe 15-20 minutes after. At this point, my boyfriends food was basically cold. We also had to remind the waitress that we requested another bottle of still water. It upsets us seeing other people who are not of color be shown so much attention when we did not receive the same. After we finished out dinner, the waitress asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu. I remembered that I wanted to try the Carrot Cake, so I ordered a slice. At this point I was upset that my birthday was never acknowledged during the entire dinner. There shouldn't be an option on Resy to select your birthday is the occasion if it won't be acknowledged. We then waited over 15 minutes for my slice of cake. I'd assume all they had to do is cut a slice and add garnish, but it took forever. My boyfriend went to the counter and requested the check if the cake wasn't going to come. At that point, the waitress apologized and took off the service charge as well as the cake price. I shouldn't have gotten a free cake because it took forever to come, I should've gotten a free slice because it was my birthday. The entire time, I couldn't wait to leave the establishment and go home. It ruined my night since this was supposed to celebrate my birthday. I had such high expectations being that this is an upscale restaurant. I had a terrible experience. With the experience aside, the Tuna Crudo was amazing, the Bucatini was underwhelming, the Steak Frites were pretty solid, but I will never go back. The 1 star is for the Tuna Crudo.

On multiple occasions, Elton has given me poor service and a noticeable attitude. I chose to overlook it at first, but eventually I brought it to management's attention because the treatment was consistent and unacceptable. After that complaint, the situation escalated. When I returned, Elton refused to serve me altogether. He would not look at me, acknowledge me, or take my order. I was left sitting there while being completely ignored. It became so obvious that other guests sitting next to me noticed and were concerned enough to step in and ask him why I wasn't being helped and to tell him to serve me. That should never have to happen. I then asked for the manager I had previously spoken to, Leo, because I wanted to understand what was going on. I still have not received any clear explanation. What's most concerning is that this behavior feels intentional. No employee in hospitality gets to decide who they will or will not serve based on personal feelings. If a staff member's feelings are "hurt" after a complaint, that does not justify refusing service to a guest. That is not professionalism--that is the opposite of hospitality. It was honestly disturbing enough that the people next to me told me directly that it didn't feel right and that I shouldn't come back because it seemed like I wasn't wanted there. That is not okay, especially at an establishment of this caliber. I am actively trying to get in touch with someone at the hotel who can properly address this situation, because this needs to be taken seriously. No guest should ever feel ignored, singled out, or unwelcome in this way.

I emailed the bar to make a reservation since the online system was down, and they emailed back immediately to confirm -- and even said they would surprise my mom with an extra birthday cake! Now all I had to do was wait 3 weeks until her visit so the experience could finally happen. The day arrived and I got my mom to Maybourne Bar with her none the wiser. From the moment we stepped through the door, the experience was a 1 million out of 10. Every course is unbelievable. This is a caviar tasting in the best way -- all nine courses are topped with generous helpings of delicious N25 caviar. You get sweet, salty, savory, comfort food, upscale dining, everything comes together in the absolute best way. I especially loved the deconstructed deviled egg and the lobster roll, and the ice cream was some of the best I've ever had. The chips and dip came with the cutest miniature potato chips (although I'll admit I could have used a few more), and the caviar salmon burger was super flavorful. And, true to their word, they surprised my mom with a birthday cake -- and then surprised us both with complimentary lychee cocktails! The service was impeccable as well. Each person on the waitstaff was kind, helpful, and accommodating. We loved how descriptive they were of each dish. It was also really nice of them to decide to give us an extra 2-top so we would have room for all of the courses. This is not only an incredible tasting menu, but made even more incredible by the price. 10 courses and a glass of champagne are $85. I was honestly shocked at how much we received for under $100. I cannot recommend this experience highly enough. This is a true gem in Beverly Hills. I'm already planning my next visit!

I really gotta respect their dedication to red meat and the holy art of cooking a damn good steak. This place is essentially what I'm looking for in a restaurant. Basically hits on all cylinders and checks off all the critical boxes. I don't want to sound all dramatic and such, but I'm dying to go back and try all the other items I didn't have, as well as check out the bar experience. I spoke to some locals outside before they opened, and they weren't just lovely -- they also painted a pretty picture of what the overall vibe is here. It's clear a lot of people in the Beverly Hills and Hollywood Hills area love coming here very frequently. Our server, who I assumed is named Nolan because that's what's shown on the receipt, was very accommodating, kind, and easy to talk to. I think he did a fantastic job dealing with my difficult, picky gf. Haha. I can't say anything was less than stellar. The croquettes in that celery purée stuff were phenomenal. Garlic bread was seasoned and baked to perfection. The bone broth sipper was nourishing af. French fries were perhaps the best I've had in years. Broccolini was fresh, high quality, and complimented the steak very well. I'm bummed we only got to try just the ribeye when it came to the cuts, but my gf did not want to order anything under medium or medium rare that night, so that was a bummer. It's her loss! The panna cotta was the creamiest sweet treat in all of LaLa Land. This is a great place, and it's a top-tier steakhouse. SoCal sometimes lacks places of this caliber that NY, Chicago, and SF / Napa have, but this place is a very close contender to some of the top cream-of-the-crop, steak-centered restaurants in the country. Upon arrival, we were greeted warmly and seated promptly. Unfortunately, our initial table was extremely close to a very loud neighboring party, making conversation difficult. To the restaurant's credit, the staff accommodated our request to move, and the new table significantly improved the experience. The food was excellent. We ordered the Dinner for Two, and every component was well executed and enjoyable. The quality of the beef was evident, and it was clear why MATŪ has built such a strong reputation. The cocktails were also well made. Where the experience began to unravel was the service. Wine service took roughly 20 minutes, dessert was noticeably delayed, and our server seemed to disappear for extended periods throughout the evening. The most frustrating part came at the end of the meal when it took more than 25 minutes to receive the check. When it finally arrived, it was delivered by a manager in a manner that felt dismissive rather than hospitable. To make matters worse, an automatic gratuity had already been added to the bill. While I understand the practice in some situations, it felt particularly disappointing given the level of service we received throughout the evening. MATŪ serves outstanding food, and that is what earns this review more than a few stars. However, hospitality is about more than what comes out of the kitchen. For a restaurant operating at this price point, the service should match the quality of the food. Unfortunately, on this visit, it did not. I left impressed by the meal but disappointed by the overall dining experience, and I'm not sure I would return.
