Still one of my LA favorites and highly recommended pizza parlors. Came in yesterday to pick up two pies to go. Always good pizza and friendly customer service.

There's a lot to like about upper crust... thin crispy crust, not salt, tasty pizza. Service was fast and friendly for pick up. However, they were light on the toppings, and we the 2 of us were still hungry after eating a large.

We stopped by Upper Crust Pizzeria to pick up some pizza to-go. Love the double entendre name. The place is pretty cute and there are some tables and chairs to sit at if you want to eat there. They have an open kitchen which I always appreciate. You order up at the counter when you walk in. The pizza slices are not on display which is a little strange. They do have a water dispenser at the register which is a nice touch. They also have a rewards program. We ordered some slices of margarita and a slice of cheese to go. After waiting just a few minutes, I decided to get a second slice of cheese to-go. We waited a very long time to get our order. The people behind us in line, who were eating in, received their pizzas before us. We were first in line when we walked in so it wasn't like we were waiting for someone else. We had to go feed the meter a few times. When I asked what was taking so long and why the people behind us were served first, we were told that it was because I came back and ordered a second slice of cheese. In my humble opinion, a slice of pizza should only take a few minutes to warm and pack unless they were making it from scratch which I doubt was the case here especially with the cheese slice. I've never had this experience before at a pizza shop. I will say that the cashier did make it up to us by giving us an extra slice of cheese to go. The slices of pizza were generous. The toppings tasted very fresh. I appreciate that they use ingredients that are never canned or frozen. The sauce was tasty. However, I did not care for the dough. It's a thin crust but it was very chewy. I prefer a crispy, crunchy thin crust pizza. My pizza was also lukewarm which was strange as I did not have far to travel and we ate it right away. I'm glad I gave Upper Crust Pizzeria a try but I did not feel like I got an "upper crust" experience here. Metered parking on the street.

Selling by slice. I got a cheese slice - the portion is huge, crispy dough, ingredients are well balanced. The taste was good, nothing mind blowing. A solid slice. $5.20 for a slice in BH / give me 2! Service was friendly and fast. They play some music, interior is cool. Recommended

Pizza was okay, I was expecting a little more from this place in regard to their pizza. It was burnt on the crust which is always my favorite part. The red sauce tasted unseasoned as well :(. Staff was very nice and the pizza does look good just was a huge let down.

Pizza was good and toppings were generous! Wouldn't say it's the best pizza I've had but will likely be back since it's close to home and service was quick

We stopped by after visiting the observatory. We ordered a large and medium pizza and the large was absolutely huge. I felt bad leaving all of that great pizza behind but since we still had a lot of stuff to do that day. The pizza was excellent; fresh toppings and great crust. The middle of the large was a little floppy because it was so massive. That one had to be eaten with a fork and knife.

Had to try some local pizza and got a big slice of cheese. It was definitely NY style you had to fold it to eat it and the flavor was right on. Cooked nice and crunchy for the crust it was good! 3.95 for the cheese slice isn't too bad either. Staff was very friendly and there is tables both indoor and out front. Parking might be a little more challenging with how busy the whole neighborhood is.

I ordered delivery, to their credit it was about 20 minutes before closing so I understand how that might be frustrating but the pizza lacked love. First I paid for extra cheese and I can say that it did not at all have extra cheese. Next the pizza could have been cooked a minute longer give it that crust and no flop. The pizza is thin crust. I was not a fan of the dough or the pizza sauce but they had great quality cheese that was not oily or heavy. That part was great. I also ordered some chicken fingers. Nothing to rave about, I wouldn't try that again. Ultimately I'll give this place one more shot.

This is my new favorite place for pizza! I came here by accident because I usually go to Urth Caffe next door and decided to give it a try. The slices are so good -- very thin crust pizza that rivals my usual NY-style go-to places around LA. They state that they make their pizza with fresh, never frozen ingredients and I have to say the freshness and flavor are noticeable. Love the taste of the crispy crust, the delicious tomato sauce and the nice saltiness of the real cheese on top. They sell whole pies, but I love getting slices here for only around $4 each. I can't wait to try their wings because they're all baked! This is rare as usually wings are fried and I love that this is a healthier option that also looks delicious. They're open late (especially for Beverly Hills), have great friendly customer service, and a clean women's bathroom!

The link to the business on yelp sent me to a platform where delivery was applied. I messaged the business owner about this, and he informed me that can be the case depending on which platform is used to place the order. He suggested I use this link: https://www.toasttab.com/upper-crust-beverly-hills-ca. The pizza was super thin, crispy and HUGE. The chicken wings I ordered was plain, but it was still packed with flavor. I placed an order for extra marinara sauce, which I dipped the crust in. The delivery arrived right at the requested arrival time. I'll be trying this place again in the near future.

A tomato based sauce with Fior di latte cheese and perfectly crisp pepperoni. Not gonna lie, I ate 3/4 of the pie on my own. Bianca was a white sauce with Fior di Latte and uniquely a lemon preserve. Pretty distinct citrus flavor so not sure how many of you will relate to it. Very unique flavoring. Had 2 slices but not a pie you can eat alone in my opinion. Make sure you're with a partner or group. Overall loved their pies and looking forward to trying the Napoletana and Fungi.

I wasn't the biggest fan of their thicker-style crust, but their thin-crust option, which they call the "triangle pizza," was excellent. My recommendation is to keep it simple and order a plain cheese slice or pie--it was delicious on its own. They also had a ricotta pizza that tasted great, and their vodka sauce was amazing. The only downside is the limited seating, so it's best to have a plan to eat elsewhere or take your pizza to go. Overall, the quality of the pizza makes it well worth the stop.

There are a lot of pretentious cocktail bars these days with "technique" and interesting ingredients, but falls short in flavor and execution. Dante is not one of those bars. It's the opposite. After being seated, we waited nearly 15 minutes before our server even acknowledged us. Not even exaggerating on the wait time. When I ordered a Twist cocktail and asked if it could be made with tequila instead, our server said he would check with the bartender. He later returned and tol us it wasn't possible, so my friend ordered a different drink instead. What was frustrating is that he never mentioned happy hour had ended while we were waiting for him to come back. We were then charged $10 for the original drink we never received, and the replacement drink was charged at full price because happy hour had expired. That didn't feel fair since the delay was entirely on the server's end. To make matters worse, a 20% service charge was already added to the bill, yet the service was some of the worst we've experienced. Between the long wait, poor communication, and incorrect charges, the experience didn't match the reputation or prices of this restaurant. I wouldn't recommend it based on the service alone. FYI during happy hour selected drinks are $10
