Love coming here when I can. I always order the Spinach Feta Omelette. So delicious! Service is always fast with a waitress who loves cracking jokes. The staff works hard to make everyone happy customers. Love the smiles and service.

The server was very kind and welcoming! The interior was very classic morning diner-like where you'd go, get breakfast/brunch food, and be satisfied. I got the spinach feta omelette and it was solid. Nothing to rave about omelettes, but this was good and worth the price. The side of tomato slices helps cut the heaviness that omelettes sometimes have with cheese, and the pancakes I had on the side were fluffy and moist. Smelled very sweet though. The omelette was huge though, but it wasn't perfectly sized for satisfaction at the same time. Food and overall 7/10

I drive by this place all the time and it always seems to be backed. We finally checked it out this morning and it did not disappoint. The staff was super friendly, the food was fantastic, and the portions were hearty. I got the huevos ala mexicana which was basically scrambled eggs with peppers and onions with refried beans, my fiancé got the gyro omelet. Who would have thought to put gyro in an omelet?!? Fantastic. Food - 5/5 Service - 5/5 Ambiance - 3/5 Price - 4/5

Best breakfast all week in St Joseph area. The staff were so friendly and the service was fast!The breakfast quesadilla was fresh and delicious. The fresh pico was a little spicy but oh so good. My husband had the 2-2-2-2 special. When served it had 2-large pancakes,2pieces of bacon, 2 sausages and 4 over easy eggs (cooked perfectly). He said it was wonderful. I didn't get a pic before he stacked it all up and dug in. ;) May have to come back tomorrow before we go home.

Had a late breakfast, it was crowded but got seated immediately since it was just two of us. Had the 2x2x2x2 breakfast, the portions are big. Worth to stop. The WI-FI did not work. But I was there to eat. Total for two people $25.

This might be the worst meal I have ever had. Hubby ordered meatloaf - there was literally two cups of gravy and you couldn't even find the meatloaf. I ordered the hot turkey. This was ONE piece of meat that appeared to be a thin pork chop. This was covered in ORANGE, yes, i said ORANGE gravy. The entire meal completely awful. will never be returning. Arrived hungry, left hungry. read more

My wife and I frequently eat-in at Joe's and when her health deems it necessary, I take-out from here. It is a wonderful family place and you are made to feel most welcome by everyone. The food is always good, their breakfasts excellent, and their home-made soups worth taking home a gallon. The service is good, fun, sometimes quirky, and always dependable. Come with a big appetite and be prepared to get your monies worth! It is not fancy, it is just the place to come when you want to be served excellent food well...and if they do get something wrong, they will over-exert themselves to make it right! read more

Greeted with a smile / pick your own seat/ coffee ,WATER!, menus brought promptly. Never dissatisfied here. Food always steaming hot. Had the vegetarian omelet asked for and received frijoles instead of hash browns (you may also sub fresh fruit or sliced tomatos) choice of two smaller pancakes or toast or one French toast I opted for the delicious slice of French toast. Last visit 11/22/15 Have only eaten lunch there once and it was good, but we go often with a large group for Sunday breakfast. They accommodate us well, whether it's 6 or 14. Although it may seem hectic at first, they quickly put tables together for you and get your coffee! Food it delicious and reasonably priced with numerous specials. Service is courteous and quick and they come around to refill your drink often, whether coffee, tea, Coke... A big thumbs up from us! read more

I kept seeing the coupons in Mailmax and finally decided to try it. Best breakfast diner in St. Joe. Get there before 10am on Sundays to beat the church crowd. Great value $/portion. Service is always incredibly friendly and fast. I have only ever ordered the Mexican omelet which comes with pancakes and hash browns. When I find something I like I stick with it. It's delicious. I moved away and still go back for breakfast every time I visit town. read more

I got the steak bowl, which comes with an egg and plenty of sautéed peppers, onions and potatoes. Highly recommend. Even the drink options are exciting. Locally made cherry limeade?! Yes please! The ambiance is warm and welcoming, the staff is friendly. Even though you are in the middle of an open-concept business collective, the layout of the restaurant space makes you feel like you are in someone's giant, awesome home kitchen and you can watch as your meal is made. It took me a moment to put my finger on it, but this place gives you the reassurance that your meal is being made by people who enjoy good food. As someone who loves to cook and is on the tail end of a road trip, this was the most relaxed and enjoyable meal I've had in a while. I enjoyed it on so many levels. The restaurant is tucked away inside of a bigger collective of stores, one of which is Dad's Farm, a little grocery with a nice collection of packaged and frozen locally sourced foods. There are other shops in the collective including a coffee shop, brewery, cheese shop, wine shop, and gift shop with great art, cards, jewelry and other clever gifts. It's a nice group of shops where you can pick up some great souvenirs. A quick note about the entrance to the collective: it was not obvious to me, though I might have missed some signage. I was looking at the map on my phone, was on Pleasant St, and passed by the whole thing several times. I almost gave up trying to find it, but I could smell good food, so I finally took a chance on a tinted door near a coffee shop and was happily surprised to find I was in the right spot for Dad's Cafe as well. Give Dad's Farm and Cafe a try, I think you'll really enjoy it!

The food here is ok but apparently they want to lose a customer over refusing to refund an item…read morethat was not given, like I don't spend enough in their expensive store on a regular basis anyway. Or, I did. This person must really need 50 cents badly to actually ignore a customer and to refuse a refund. Your business will not last if you do not have the management skills to back up cooking skills. And this is a small area. When a customer asks you why you charged them something, they are not just asking. It is theft. I expect an answer when I ask that question. My receipt clearly shows a custom charge of 50 cents, for a side of sauce that I did not receive. It was actually supposed to be a dollar because I ordered 2 sides. I sent a message and was told that I was not charged, end of reply. I replied that I was. Instead of sending a refund, they sent me a copy of the current receipt that clearly shows a 50 cent custom charge on it. I am not the blind one here. I messaged again asking what the charge was for, if not for the sauce. No reply. I am also tired of tipping on takeout just to have no one check the orders and for it to go out wrong, no more. What is the tip for? It was 2 items, juice, and some sauce, not hard to get right. Tip in cash only if your order is correct. A normal response would also be to apologize for getting the order wrong to begin with. I have not received another response or a refund so I take it that they feel entitled to take money for items not given. It is not about the amount of money, just the audacity and bad business practices. Shameful behavior. There is nothing special about the menu here so something better will eventually take its place.

The biscuits & gravy were so so good, perfect white sausage gravy. The waffles were really good as well & the mimosas were generously sized. Can't wait to get back to St Joseph so I can have breakfast here again!
