The server was very kind and welcoming! The interior was very classic morning diner-like where you'd go, get breakfast/brunch food, and be satisfied. I got the spinach feta omelette and it was solid. Nothing to rave about omelettes, but this was good and worth the price. The side of tomato slices helps cut the heaviness that omelettes sometimes have with cheese, and the pancakes I had on the side were fluffy and moist. Smelled very sweet though. I drive by this place all the time and it always seems to be backed. We finally checked it out this morning and it did not disappoint. The staff was super friendly, the food was fantastic, and the portions were hearty. I've been here well over a dozen times and every single time it's been amazing. Hash browns are always crispy and delicious, pancakes are fluffy, sweet and perfectly cooked. Always quite busy, and there's a reason for that! Joe's has an extensive menu, a large specials board, and my coffee never gets cold. The main dining area is full, but the arrangement isn't crowded. Booths along the sides are a real plus. The wait staff is always prompt and pleasant. The only thing I don't care for is the congestion at the front door. Customers stand to pay at the register in the very space where new customers must enter. A bit of furniture rearrangement could go a long way to address this bottle neck. Alternately, the wait staff could take care of the bill rather than the customer at the register. Even with that, I've never been disappointed at Joe's! read more

Best breakfast all week in St Joseph area. The staff were so friendly and the service was fast!The breakfast quesadilla was fresh and delicious. The fresh pico was a little spicy but oh so good. My husband had the 2-2-2-2 special. When served it had 2-large pancakes,2pieces of bacon, 2 sausages and 4 over easy eggs (cooked perfectly). He said it was wonderful. On Wednesday April 3rd my husband and I wondered into Joe's Cafe for breakfast.  The staff greeted us and we chose to sit in a booth.  My husband ordered coffee and we looked over the menu.  He said the coffee tasted like water, I took a sip and I have to agree.  Don't bother with the coffee. My hubby went with the 2 egg breakfast while I went with the 3 blintzes with cherries on top and a biscuit on the side.  Hubby wished the cheese was in the egg rather than just sitting on top but he said it was still good.  I enjoyed my blintzes but wished the cheese taste was more distinct because I got mostly the taste of cinnamon. The staff was ok.  They were quick to fill my husbands coffee and water but I ran out of water and was ready for the check and had to wait about 5 minutes for someone to come over.  They ignored my water but did ask my husband if he needed anything.  Considering I'm the one paying I was hoping for a little hospitality but whatever. The space itself was clean but the decor was a bit confusing.  It was like half sobraros/Mexican decor and half typical breakfast cafe.  We will be back but we won't be rushing through the doors.  I am interested in trying something other than breakfast. read more

Busy place, nice seasoned staff. The place was large and accommodating. The staff looked to be doing a good job sanitizing in between customers which is very nice. The biscuits and gravy were a very good pepper gravy. This is not a sausage gravy so if your looking for that be warned. That being said it was plentiful. The biscuits were fresh. They may not have been made in house but they were fresh and good. It came out piping hot Luke it should as well. The eggs were average. The coffee was very good. I base my breakfast places off thier biscuits and gravy. Joes adds eggs and hash browns to your order. Gravy is sausage gravy love it. Wife loves thier eggs Ranchero. She loves the fresh salsa. Joes was packed beyond beloef and people were circling the parking lot like hungry sharks in cars. This is a good sign....Joes isnt the only breakfast or brunch option in the vicinity either. The menu at Joes is pretty extensive...they even serve blintzes. Prices are super reasonable...a full order of biscuits and gravy w 2 eggs and hashbrowns is 7.50....steak and eggs w hashbrowns..mushrooms and sauteed onions and a pancake is 12.00. Our food was good...not amazing but good...hot..decently and the eggs were fresh. My sons hashbrowns were a little more hashwhite than brown...nit tjeu were extremely busy and just about every place has trouble keeping up under those circumstances.The coffee was commercial grade. Service was very good. There was an army of "two snaps up fabulous"mexican gentlemen who did a great nob with refills , bussing and tsking our order...no one seemed to have tables or a section...it was a total team effort and it was impressive considering the sheer volume of work. Tl;dr...you probably wont have the culinary experience of your life at Joes, but its decent food at great prices , served with aplomb by attentive waiters. read more

Obviously seasonal selections and fresh...meaning....flavor). Good coffee. Our server was above and beyond and his personality and smile would've earned him large tips even if the food wasn't so great, but it was.
