After trying to source an ultra-low-mileage 2001 911 Turbo on my own--coordinating PPIs and chasing…read moreemissions details across state lines, only to have the car sell--I switched to a broker. That was the right call. Cartelligent sourced my 2023 911 GTS, and the experience was excellent. David, the founder, knows both the cars and the market. He took the time to understand what I was actually looking for, then challenged my assumptions. That led me to choose a low-mileage CPO car for my first Porsche--a decision I'm glad I was pushed toward. I worked with Christian throughout the purchase and delivery, and he was professional and attentive. The delivery specialist handled the handoff with real care. The entire team was friendly, focused on my needs, communicated clearly, and operated with professionalism end to end. They have the network, expertise, and discipline to navigate the market efficiently--no wasted time, no dead ends. Buying a car, simplified. I plan to purchase a new truck in the fall, and Cartelligent will be my broker again. Highly recommended if you're serious about finding the right vehicle.

I had a somewhat negative experience working with an advisor at this location, and the experience…read moremade me wary of Cartelligent overall. It seems like it can be good in the right circumstance, but it's worth being a bit careful about it. A friend highly recommended the advisor, saying that they'd saved her a lot of money on her car lease and made the process easy for her. I called and talked for over an hour to the advisor. They were knowledgable and friendly - great customer service. I figured that I may be able to save a little money by looking for a deal myself, but that I wanted to save the time and hassle, so the cost would be worth it. Also, I liked the idea that Cartelligent had access to better deals than I would by purchasing at volume from fleet managers. My plan was to lightly get offer prices myself, compare them to the price Cartelligent got, and then hopefully having validated that they were beating my price sufficiently, I could use them forever and rest assured that it was a worthwhile deal. I reached out to a few dealerships and got opening offers. I was shocked when my Cartelligent advisor came back with an initial price that was worse than three of the five dealerships I'd reached out to, and that was before their $600 fee. When I explained this, they responded a little defensively and asked for proof I had better deals. When I provided it, they came back the next day with an offer $50 a month cheaper than the one they first sent me - a cost difference of $1,800 over the course of the lease! Thank goodness I'd looked on my own and not taken their word for it. The experience shook my faith a bit, so I decided to negotiate with the other dealerships myself and compare. Once I got a bit further into the process, I gave Cartelligent the ability to win my business if they could get to a specific number by dropping their quote a little further. They were unable to do so, so I kept negotiations up elsewhere. Specifically, when I asked if they could get to that number, the whole email they wrote back was "That's awesome. That's a great deal" and that was the last I ever heard from them. With a little bit of work, I ultimately was able to secure a lower price than Cartelligent had before taking their $600 fee into account. Using Cartelligent would have cost me many hundreds of dollars more than negotiating on my own over the course of my lease. At the same time, I was trying to sell my car through them. I did their thorough online process, taking pictures and filling out the form. After it was clear I was going to negotiate a bit and not just take their first price, I stopped hearing about the sale process from the advisor. After the "That's awesome" email, I never heard back from them again, even after asking for updates on the sales process over email. They ultimately never gave me a quote on my car. I think they got mad at me and ghosted me, which I found surprising and unprofessional. It's possible I was able to get an unusually good deal because the EV market is weak right now. The second quote - the one $50 lower - was reasonable, and it did take me a little work to beat it. However, it was clear to me that you should always do your own due diligence and get quotes to check the ones they give you. If you do that, ultimately, you aren't really saving yourself that much work, so I'm not sure the $600 fee is worth it. Edit: David reached out, and we talked about my experience. He sounded as surprised as I was by my experience, and he's looking into it. I was impressed that he would follow up!

Excellent communication, service, and timely replies. I received a significant discount on the OTD price, even when including the BuySide Auto fee. On top of that, I NEVER had to step into a dealership, talk to a salesperson directly, spend hours playing the "let me ask my manager" game, or have to talk to a Finance manager and repeatedly say NO to unnecessary options. All communication was easily done through email and text, although phone and in-person contact was also available. Process starts with completing a convenient online request. From there, Kim contacted me to fully understand my wishlist, range of optional requirements, and any non-negotiables. After reaching out to their dealer network, within a day she provided a list of potential matches with estimated OTD prices, which included some in SoCal available for transfer to the Bay Area and cars still in production with estimated availability dates. I had a lot of questions and some requests and Kim was very responsive and instrumental in relaying them to the dealer and advocating for me. Even my request to remove all dealer installed options was negotiated by Kim and granted by the dealer with no hassle on my end. I paid the BuySide Auto fee to reserve the car for purchase and when the car was available I opted to pickup at their office in SF. Home delivery to SF is also currently no charge, while delivery outside of the city is available with a modest fee. Upon first contact, I asked if weekend pickup or delivery was available, since their normal hours are on weekdays. Kim made note of it and remembered my preference even after the sale was completed. Chris was able to make himself available for Saturday pickup! We took a walk around the car took a look inside. We spent no more than 10 minutes reviewing and signing paperwork, received my keys, and I was off with my brand new car! Both Kim and Chris were great to work with and I have no hesitation in working with them again for future car purchases.

I'd strongly recommend them!

The next day, the shop informed me that they had damaged my vehicle in an accident involving a lift and would need to send it to a body shop for repairs. What should have been a routine service turned into several additional days without my car. The damage was ultimately repaired, but I received no loaner vehicle, no rental reimbursement, no discount, and no service recovery of any kind for the inconvenience caused by the shop's mistake. When I finally picked up the vehicle, I was presented with a bill that was more than $500 higher than the original quote. When we questioned the increase, we were told additional work had been performed. However, no one had contacted us for approval before completing the alleged work. After we pointed out that we had never authorized the additional charges, the extra amount was removed from the bill. Accidents happen. What disappointed me was the way the situation was handled afterward. Damaging a customer's vehicle is bad enough. Providing no compensation for the delay and then attempting to charge for unapproved work turned a mistake into a trust issue. Needless to say, we won't be returning.

Worst dealership experience I've ever had…read more My colleague and I visited Ferrari San Francisco with the intention of purchasing vehicles for our company. Unfortunately, from the moment we arrived, we were not treated with respect or taken seriously. When we asked whether our budget could get us something flashy and visually impressive, the salesperson responded, "You know the answer to that yourself," which felt dismissive and unprofessional. Later, in another part of the dealership, I asked another employee two questions and was completely ignored. When we explained that we were looking for a vehicle to use for marketing purposes for our company, the response was, "Why are you telling me that?" We were also told that no one in sales was available, which I understand can happen, but the overall attitude and lack of basic courtesy were unacceptable. My colleague and I may look young, but we operate a real estate firm managing approximately $2.5 billion in assets. Regardless of someone's age, appearance, race, or perceived status, every customer should be treated with the same level of respect. We ended up driving to Ferrari Silicon Valley/Redwood City and had a completely different experience. The team there was respectful, professional, and attentive, and we are now in the process of closing a deal on two vehicles. I would not recommend spending your money at a dealership where customers are judged or dismissed before anyone even takes the time to understand who they are or what they are looking for. I wish them the best, but this was an extremely disappointing experience.
