From the moment I walked into this dealership, I felt immediately judged by the salesperson who approached me. Within seconds, he began asking probing questions about my finances and pushed for a credit application before I had even had the chance to see or test drive a vehicle. I understand that dealerships need to qualify buyers, but requiring a credit application just to test drive a car--especially when someone is still in the early stages of shopping--is excessive and uncomfortable. The interaction felt dismissive, as if my presence was a waste of his time. For comparison, I had just visited the nearby Porsche dealership, where the staff were welcoming, professional, and happy to educate me and let me quickly test drive a vehicle with nothing more than a driver's license. Bought a very nice vehicle from here, looking back I'd prefer to have made the purchase elsewhere. This is my first purchase outside of BMW and Mercedes and I will say Cole European leaves much to be desired. My experience was so bad I even left a letter to the FTC regarding unfair and deceptive selling practices. Unfortunately, my buying experience was very poor, but fortunately, my vehicle is very "nice" thus, my family has taken our business elsewhere to San Francisco JLR whose follow-up and sales have been much better. Stay away from this place, there are other JLRs in our area for a heightened experience and trusted sales floor. They also follow-up with you weeks after to see how your 6-figure purchase has turned out (standard practice at MB and BMW). I've never made a purchase where the dealership doesn't follow-up with their customers, especially when it is $1xx,000. Wild. Cole European is a facade of what a real high-end dealership offers to its clientele. I regret I gave them my money, especially given my buying experience when I bought the second vehicle 2 months later in San Francisco. Live and Learn. Treat yourself to somewhere else. I'm done with Cole European. Have had my Land Rover serviced there a number of time. The last time I took it they claimed my Turbo went out, and even though I was only 2,500 out of warranty, they charged $8k to replace it. 3 weeks later the check engine light and restricted mode came back on. I took back to Cole and claimed that this time it's the throttle casing and another $2k. Not trusting them, I got the car and it to an independent service shop. They tore the car apart and took videos of everything. Turns out that Cole European had screwed up the turbo replacement and the shop had to take everything apart, clean everything up, and reinstall. They told me this happens a lot. Cole hires Junior mechanics who don't know what they are doing and screw the most basic repairs. They have no ethics and refuse to stand behind their work. read more

They pretend to do maintenance warrantee services and in reality, not actually do them, and still charge you. They did that with an oil change service on my 2017 F-Pace. I know because we checked the oil after the service and it was still dirty. I used to only go to Cole European, but after that incident, I make sure people know about their dishonest practices with ripping people off. So while others may give positive and glowing reviews, I recommend approaching them with caution, if at all doing business with them. read more

I honestly hate to leave this review but have no choice after no response from the general manager and sales manager of Cole European after I reached out last week. Would have much rather handled this via a phone call for a repeat customer. My wife and I recently purchased a brand new 2024 Range Rover from Cole European. Unfortunately from day 1 the vehicle has had safety issues and after not having the Rover for more than 3 weeks it's been in the service department almost a week. A check engine service light came on and the rear passengers doors have trapped our kids in the back and won't unlock no matter what we do. The service department is currently trying to figure out the issue and has ordered some parts but after spending more than $150K on a brand new vehicle I would strongly advise you to look into other options. We like the new look body style and drive ability of the Rover but our experience post purchase and with the service department has been horrible. I think as consumers we have choices and I would encourage anyone interested to really look into the issues and ask Range Rover how they plan to address them so you don't end up in the same situation as us. If we could do it again we wouldn't have purchased another vehicle from Cole European. Thanks read more

BEWARE - WORST DEALERSHIP EVER! If you want good customer service, do not give this place your time or money. My family lives in Sacramento and called and spoke to Jeff to confirm a vehicle we were interested in was still available and not under contract. He assured me it was available and I told him we were on our way. He told me all the great things about the vehicle also. We drive nearly 2 hours with traffic. When we arrived and asked for Jeff, he hid in the back as another guy walked up to tell us they sold that vehicle. Jeff lied and had us waste our time and gas knowing that car wasn't available. I want to warn others to not trust anything out of these guys' mouths, especially if coming from out of town. read more

Absolute joke. I went to the dealership this last weekend to trade in my Tesla Model 3 for a CPO Range Rover. From the Yelp reviews, this was the best Range Rover dealership in the East Bay! When I got to the dealership, I was shocked by how small the dealership was. I figured that was okay, I'd get a better deal then. But nope, I couldn't even park. There was cars scattered everywhere. And what upset me the most was that the 3 employees just stood around. They didn't even bother to direct traffic nor did even try to remotely help me. I ended up driving in and out of the parking lot three times. Mainly because I wanted so bad the CPO Range Rover they were advertising online. To my dismay, there was no where to park!!! On my third attempt driving around their Parking lot, I rolled down my window and asked the gentleman if there anywhere I can park. He responded "I'm busy with a test drive with a customer." Wow. just wow. I never owned a Range Rover and was excited trade in my car for one. But his response was was a bit offensive and for whatever reason felt discriminated. For the past couple days, I tried to reason and just assumed that they were too busy and it was rainy so they couldn't offer any help. And I shouldn't leave any review on yelp. I couldn't help it and I downloaded my dash cam video... I realized Range Rover experience was absolutely unacceptable. If you are in the market for a Range Rover, I highly recommend you avoiding this terrible dealership. Try another Range Rover dealership. .
