Me and my son really liked their pizza. I tried their chicken parmigiana this last time and the chicken part was really good. I just don't care for the sauce that goes with it. We have also only ever DoorDash it, so I feels kind of unfair to rate the calamari because by the time it got to us, it was kind of rubbery and I think that just has to do with the delay in cooking and getting it to our house. I would be willing to try it again in house. Whatever the bread that came with the chicken parmigiana was.... Soooo good! Except when you go to DoorDash, I don't see that as an option to order extra.

Excellent food & great service. We were pleasantly surprised with our meal on Saturday afternoon. The salad dressings( balsamic & honey mustard) were amazing . We enjoyed the Cremora Mushrooms and Stromboli. From the yummy bread and pesto sauce to a great meal! The servings are large. Either leftovers :) or sharing. We will definitely be back!!

Authentic Italian Gem in Sealy -- A Must-Try! We started with the bruschetta, and it was amazing! We like to try bruschetta everywhere we go, and this one did not disappoint. It was fresh, flavorful, and easily one of the best we've ever had -- plus, it came in a very generous portion. For our meals, we ordered the kids' cheese ravioli with white sauce and the Stromboli. The ravioli came with two large pieces smothered in creamy white sauce and melted cheese. Their normal sauce is red, but they happily substituted the white sauce for me -- and it was delicious! I couldn't even finish it because the portion was so big. The Stromboli was also huge -- it stretched across the plate, over a foot long, and was loaded with Canadian bacon, sausage, pepperoni, and cheese. Every bite was packed with flavor. The service was extremely fast and friendly, and the staff made us feel so welcome. I'm honestly surprised this restaurant doesn't have more reviews or photos because it's a true hidden gem. I wish I had taken pictures when the food arrived -- everything looked just as good as it tasted! Highly recommend Joe's Italian in Sealy -- 5 stars all the way!

The servers were prepared and ready to serve, very attentive and so kind. The food came out in a timely manner and cups did not stay empty for long. They allowed us to decorate however we wanted and were willing to help in anyway with decorating. The ambiance was very cozy and inviting. We were allow to have a DJ. Such an amazing experience and the food was delicious. We had shrimp scampi, chicken Alfredo, shrimp and pizza. Everything was soooooo good. Please come eat here and have your event here!!!! I stopped in here for lunch on my way to Houston. I'd never been here before, so I ordered…read moresomething safe and got the chicken parmigiana. The tea was fresh. The rolls were as well. I thought they were my favorite part of the meal. They were just dense enough to give off a pan pizza taste, and had enough butter, garlic powder and parmesan cheese on top to get Paula Deen's attention. The salad that came with it was decent. Good thick bleu cheese dressing. Could've used some croutons though. The entree itself was good. The chicken wasn't crazy crispy, but by the time you soak fried chicken in marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese and bake it, you will lose crispness by nature, and that's with any restaurant. The meat wasn't dry, I will say that. Pasta that came with it was good as well. Price seems a little high though, and is my main criticism of this restaurant. $4.25 for a glass of unsweetened tea, and $17.64 for chicken parmesan. I did get the dinner portion, so I can't fault them too highly on that. That being said, the portion size was generous, the staff were friendly, and the ambiance of the restaurant was comfortable. All in all, Joe's is pretty good, and I wouldn't mind coming again.

It gives everything a cozy, charming feel with a lot of character. Parking, though, can be tricky. It's limited, and if you're wearing heels, the rocky ground and steep hill can make it a bit of a challenge when the lot fills up. We had reservations but arrived a little early, and they were able to seat us without an issue. Service was solid overall. The staff was quick to let us know what items were unavailable, which helped with decision-making. I did notice a dish being served that wasn't on the menu, and when I asked about it, we found out it was a seafood and noodle special. Two of us decided to try it. For food, we started with the sautéed garlic ricotta appetizer, which was a standout. It had a really nice balance of mild sweetness and savory flavor. The eggplant parmesan was huge and easily shareable between two people, with great flavor throughout. Honestly, most of the portions felt big enough to split. I ordered the seafood special, and while the flavor was decent, the shrimp were consistently overcooked and chewy, which made it hard to enjoy. The mussels were the highlight of the dish, though they reminded me of the frozen kind you can heat up at home. Overall, it was an okay experience. Not somewhere I'd go out of my way to recommend, but if it were the only option in town, I'd consider going back.

The Not So Good: Although happy they had a parking lot - wish there was more. The Ugly: The special of the night - seafood over pasta. Noodles were light and delicious, seafood looked fresh but everything was overshadowed by the level of garlic. I love garlic but not when that's all I taste. Such a shame because it had great potential.

Every course was enjoyable, and there was plenty of food for the table to share. We started with the Garlic Mozzarella Bread, Toasted Ravioli, Calamari Fritti, Lomonte's Famous House Salad, and a Greco Roman pizza for the table. The garlic mozzarella bread was a hit across the table. The toasted ravioli was solid, while the calamari was delicious and cooked well, though we felt the portion size was a little small for the price. The house salad was fresh, flavorful, and one of the better restaurant salads I've had recently. For my entrée, I ordered the Beef La Crema. It comes with a 6oz fillet, mushroom risotto, and brussel sprouts. The mushroom risotto was excellent. Risotto is usually salty at restaurants, but this one was perfectly balanced and cooked nicely. The Brussels sprouts were also well executed and paired nicely with the dish. My filet came out a little more done than the medium-rare I requested, but it was still tender and flavorful. I do wish it had been slightly larger, but at 6 ounces, some shrinkage during cooking is to be expected. Overall, this was an outstanding meal with great food and a welcoming atmosphere. It's easily one of the best Italian restaurants in the area, and I'd gladly return.

Sorry I didn't get a picture of anything but the calamari but we had the scallops with risotto and the chicken rustica. I know I've had the risotto better previously but everything was still really good.
