    Carne asada fries

The carne asada fries look good & was good fresh, flavorful, and loaded with plenty of carne asada, cheese, guacamole, and toppings. Definitely a solid Mexican spot, and I'll come back again.

I'm a huge crunchy taco fan so I was very delighted to see they had crunchy tacos on their menu when I stoped by for lunch on a Tuesday. I was so happy that I did stop by because this place is serving some incredible Mexican food. Located right off Reseda Blvd, you will find parking in the rear/back of the buisness. There you will be able to park comfortably and enter the restaurant. Nice restaurant with a nice menu. Decided to grab some crunch chicken tacos with a side of rice and beans and this meal was delicious! Fresh, authentic and very flavorful, a 10/10. Service here was very good and the girl working the front was very kind and helpful. Overall, can't wait to come back and eat here again. Make sure to consider them if your in the area and looking for a tasty place to eat at. Thanks Joeys tacos for the great hospitality.

Very long wait time even though it was empty inside. We waited 45 mins for two menudos, and we were the only two people in there! The food was good, which is why I'm giving it a solid 3; the soup was super hot. The staff was nice and asked us if we were good.

Living in the San Fernando valley, there are many options for Mexican food with many of them being great, but by far I can say Joeys is my favorite. A family owned restaurant that has great service, great food, and great prices. The tacos, nachos, tortas, and burritos are all delicious. I usually stick to asada for my meat options but from what I gather from my friends and family, all of their meat options are great. The servings size for their plates are def worth the value. The restaurant itself isn't huge but has enough space to enjoy the meal and it's super clean. The parking lot is huge so no problem with parking. If you're looking for a Mexican restaurant, I highly recommend Joeys!

I recently tried the crispy tacos One shredded beef and one asada. I got the combo! The shredded beef was 5/10 Carne asada was 8/10 However the salsas were great! I would definitely return and try a different item! The ambiance was quiet and the service was friendly.

Crunchy tacos were on my mind and Joeys is one of the better ones in the valley. I tried most of the meats and I would stick to the shredded beef, but for sure would get the shredded chicken as my new go to. The people that work there are also awesome people!

Card fee 75c. How have I lived here and never been to this place? It's the epitome of hole in the wall and reminded me of Mexico. The dining area has tables and chairs with no frills, but the food is good. I had the asada quesadilla and the plate came with sour cream and guacamole already a win. The food was great and the service was good too. Prices are still reasonable for nowadays.

We still laugh about this - we literally ordered our fajitas and 2 chicken tacos and mine came out in no joke, 30 seconds and my husband's came out in 1 minute. Their salsa bar is nice and love that it's accessible to everyone to get their own. We came on a Thursday at 6:30 pm and it took us 8 minutes to be seated indoors, but outdoor had ample seating. Despite it being the middle of the day and a Tuesday it was still hard to find parking and we parked on the side streets and walked. The main entrance is not well marked and we were pointed to the side door. On entering it was nice and air conditioned and we were seated quickly. Menus are on the qr codes on the table but the menu is hard to scroll through because you have to click each different items to look at and then scroll down and up. We asked for regular menus to make it easier and we were given menus that had hole punches throughout from punching out all the prices because I'm assuming prices have gone up. I hope that they could make the virtual menu a little easier to look at since i think they might be phasing out their physical menus. While we waited on our order we were given delicious chips and spicy bean dip which were excellent. So delicious. For salsa we were directed to the salsa bar. While I think the bar is cool, the tiny cups to get salsa are too small. I would have liked the bean dip sized bowl to get enough, instead of having to get several tiny cups which are hard to scoop from with the chips. I orderd the #7 which was a cheese enchilada, a crunchy beef taco, and rice and beans. My friends ordered two different taquitos plates, one orderd a fajitas plate, and the youngest got cheese quesedilla. My food was delicious but the portion was so large that I could only eat the taco and take the rest to go! Same with My friends, everyone ate maybe a 3rd to a half of the plate and then we all needed to go boxes. Overall a very delicious visit!

The young lady kept checking in on us if we needed anything else. We ordered Menudo which was a little more oily than normal, a bit bland. The meat was fatty, no hominy, and about half of the bowl had meat. Served corn tortillas and with side of cilantro, onions, chile de arbol, lime, and oregano. Also ordered a combo of Chile Colorado with rice and beans. The beef was tender, tasty rice, but the beans tasted like from a can (not homemade), and 4 corn tortillas. 2 large drinks (size of cup were the almost the size of napkin holder - A+). Overall, it was ok.
