    Rolls and huckleberry margaritas
    Dang L.

Good food and cocktail. Huckleberry margarita: 4.5 stars. well balanced. Must get. I enjoyed the salt on the rim. Just the way it is grained and flavored. Brussel sprouts appetizer: 5 stars!!! slightly crispy but not burnt! Cheese and bacon balanced out the brussel sprouts with flavors and texture. Rainbow trout: 3 stars. Fish head great consistency but somewhat simple and bland. It was ok for me but was not a hot with the rest of the group. Smoked brisket: 4.5 stars. Must get, especially if you are a meat lover. Pick your two sides. Plenty of food. Shrimp pasta: 3 stars. Plenty of food for 2. A little heat but a little bland too.

I ordered the Moran View Chopped Salad and it was delicious! All freshly cut ingredients and packed with flavor. Everything on the plate is organized very nicely into a beautiful presentation, so you're able to mix the ingredients together that you want mixed. I was extremely impressed and happy with the amount of food in the salad. It covered the whole plate with tomatoes, corn, onions, cheese, shredded cheese, an avocado, an egg, and of course lettuce covered with Chipotle dressing. Our meals came very quickly, within 10mins and the staff was very accommodating knowing we spent the day hiking the park. Not only was this a delicious meal, but it was the cheapest on the otherwise expensively-priced menu. Highly recommend getting it if you're staying at the cabins or in the area for dinner.

Wow! On an adventure of life and visiting Grand Teton National Park!! The Colter campsite recommended this place for dinner. I ordered the ribs. Wow, talking about amazing you know they're good when I fall right off the bone when you barely touch them. Definitely sit at a high top as well! Good vibe!! Great bartender/waitress, she was by herself, but did a great job for being as busy as she was.

Choices are slim if you stay in this area, especially with covid and the limited seating. We were in line when the restaurant opened and with maybe 8-10 couples ahead of us, we still had to wait a good 30min to be seated. I'm not sure if there are limitations in WY on percentage of people allowed, but I would say it wasn't more than 25% full at any point. The food was ok, I'd almost say solid, since we had worse in the parks, but still nothing to write home about. Our server was very sweet though and took good care of her tables. Breakfast was also pretty expensive and my husband was trying to get his burrito to go, but the hostess said it's not possible without officially sitting at a table?! Well, he sat down and ordered his breakfast with a to-go box, very odd.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Walking in, the place was playing country music & had such an old time country feel. Felt like home![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Our server Regina was so sweet & she checked on us a few times. I had the biscuits & gravy (one of my favorite meals) & I was very satisfied!

Best food place to visit if you're traveling through the National Parks. The best part has to be either the bread rolls or the fact that this business status open late for their travelers! Although we had a mix-up with our Family Style dinner, the manager was quick to fix our issue and gave us a free huckleberry cheesecake in return! Would return here soon

Cheesesteak (?) and mac and cheese.

My friend and I were desperate after a failed campfire and burnt soup can dinner so we came here during the summer. Overpriced tourist food offering takeout during COVID. $15.90 or so after tax for a cheesesteak with a side of mac and cheese (? It's been a while so I'm not sure what we ordered). The mac and cheese was the saltiest but somehow most lacking in cheese flavor mac and cheese I've ever eaten. -1/10, would not recommend. The cheesesteak was much better in comparison.

Huckleberry Margarita (very tasty but expecting more for $14! Is this Vegas?)

Very tasty food, have stopped in for lunch and dinner and the cafe since we're staying in the cabins. The service is phenomenal, everyone from hostess to bar backs and service people are super friendly and welcoming. Our server was RJ and he was great and knew how to give us fast and efficient service with our little guys. I got the chicken Caesar and my wife got the ribs while our little guy got Mac and cheese with veggies. Food was tasty and flavorful. Only critiques was my grilled chicken for salad was pretty dry, the huckleberry margarita though delicious was pricey for a very small glass, and it got very warm on the outer tables where there was no fans. Also the cheese curds were a side for lunch but there own app for dinner?? Anyways, would definitely recommend for any meal, and definitely have to get their pizza at some point too!

We just got drinks cuz the menu is quite pricey. The guy next to us at the bar had steak with Chimichurri and said it was awesome. Our bartender was cool! I had the Huckleberry Margarita and the other Tequila drink I forgot what its called but they were awesome. Bartender let me connect to her bluetooth speaker so I could introduce them to some Texas country. We had a great time hanging out there before returning to our campsite

Average tourist lodge just north of Jackson Hole, inside the Grand Teton National Park. During the pandemic, they were taking orders from 2 windows and bringing the orders out to a table and announcing your name. This was the only lodge that was open in the park, so there was quite a long line. The pricing is way too high for the quality of food you get, but that's the tourist trap for you. I had the Veggie Thai Wrap with potato wedges and Mac & Cheese. I would have liked to add meat but they weren't allowing any modifications during COVID. I also had a slice of pepperoni pizza as well. Basically the whole order was basic overpriced cafeteria food, which is what we expected. They have quite a few tables scattered around outside, which was perfect. A lot of people seemed to be taking their meals back to their cars/campers. The staff was friendly but they did not want you walking to the window until they completely sanitized everything, which was kinda comical.

They do, however, serve some of the best fries I've had, which rather steals the hot dog's thunder. Would've liked relish, but who cares ! The coffee was excellent, and the shakes were gloriously large, thick, and unapologetically milky, complete with a proper straw sturdy enough to handle the challenge. The huckleberry milkshake and berry crumble were both spot on. The only downside was the service. There seemed to be a bit of a rush to clear plates, even while people were still eating, which adds an unexpected sense of urgency to a casual meal. Most of the staff appeared to be trainees, which may explain the occasional rough edges. With a little more polish, the experience would match the quality of the milkshakes rather nicely.

This review is for our dinner our first night at the lodge, which was delicious and so fun. First of all, it's stated on their menu that their goal is to make 100%of their dishes in-house, which is admirable. I had a pulled pork sandwich and my partner had the burger, which he said was very good. The sandwich I ordered was so piled with pulled pork and slaw that there was no way I could pick it up, but ate it with a fork - very tender and delicious. They also have fun house sodas, like a huckleberry vanilla Dr. Pepper which I wish I could drink every day. My partner had the campfire root beer which had marshmallow syrup and something else and indeed was borderline like a s'mores soda. The highlight of our visit was our server, Kyle, who was so personable and friendly. He had just spent time in Chicago, so connected over that and he gave us some tips on where to stay in Cincinnati as I've always wanted to do a weekend there. Really a fabulous experience our first night at the lodge and nice to have an option that's low-key and casual.

The meat was cooked perfectly and served with a burgundy reduction on the side (there is a choice of sauce) and charred broccolini. I ordered mashed potatoes with it and got orzo in error, so then I was served a giant bowl of mashed potatoes that I really wish I could have finished. We had the cream of wild mushroom soup to start and it was amazing! My only beef is that they didn't have any fresh horseradish which should be a given with prime rib. The room is lovely - what you expect at the lodge - with an incredible view of the range and all the tables at the windows are 2-tops, so we lucked out. Our server was Leah and she was quite friendly and turns out she is close friends with Kyle who we had a great time with at the Pioneer Grill. Dinner With a (Partially Obstructed) View…read more... Dining at the Mural Room is something of a rite of passage for many visitors staying at Jackson Lake Lodge, and I can certainly understand the appeal. The setting is iconic, the murals themselves are impressive, and the restaurant is clearly intended to be the signature dining experience within the lodge. Unfortunately, while we enjoyed aspects of our meal, the overall experience didn't quite justify the premium positioning or pricing. The food itself was generally well executed, although the portions/sides were on the weaker side. The trout was nicely prepared, and the whole roasted chicken was flavorful and satisfying. The kitchen appears capable of producing quality dishes, which made the children's menu somewhat puzzling. It consisted primarily of the usual suspects--burgers, chicken tenders, hot dogs, and grilled cheese. Given the number of families staying at Jackson Lake Lodge and the thoughtfulness displayed in options on the adult menu, I expected something a bit more creative or reflective of the region. Cocktails proved to be somewhat hit or miss. The Huckleberry Lemonade was interesting and enjoyable, and several of the house cocktails utilizing herb- and flower-infused spirits were unique and well executed. The bar program seems to shine most when leaning into creative, regional-inspired drinks that the bartender(s) can simply execute to menu. On the other hand, the more traditional cocktails we sampled, including a Manhattan and a Martini, were underwhelming and suggested that the bar is considerably stronger at crafting house specialties than executing classics or going "off menu". We did not sample dessert, so I can't comment on that aspect of the menu. Service landed squarely in the middle for me. It was good by the standards of many restaurants and certainly pleasant enough, but it felt a step below what I expected from a restaurant marketed as the flagship dining venue of a premier national park lodge. Similarly, while the murals and surrounding architecture remain impressive, guests dining in the evening should be aware that the window shades are often lowered to reduce sun glare, which substantially diminishes what many people likely envision as the marquee attraction: enjoying dinner while taking in unobstructed views of the Tetons. Pricing also felt ambitious relative to portion sizes. Nothing was egregious, but there was a persistent sense throughout the meal that the restaurant was asking guests to pay a premium for the setting and reputation as much as for the dining experience itself. Final Thoughts: The Mural Room might be worth experiencing once, particularly for guests staying at Jackson Lake Lodge or those interested in its history. The food is competently prepared, the setting remains memorable, and some of the more inventive cocktails are genuinely enjoyable. However, I'd encourage diners to calibrate expectations. In my view, the Mural Room succeeds more as an iconic lodge dining room and experience than as a destination restaurant. Further, I might point you to the nearby Heron Lounge for equivalent views and service as well as a more reasonably priced (and maybe more approachable) menu. -AC

She said they have no way to warm it but said it was bakery fresh. It's 9:30am... what does that mean to me...or any customer? If I ask for it to be warm, that is how I want it... if you can't do that just tell me before charging me. The manager came over and asked that the issue was. I explained it to him. This is not a place I would recommend if you like customer service, positive attitudes in the morning and/or a place where you can order food how you like it. This is a place that sells expensive overpriced bakery items and feels it is ok for its staff to be rude and indignant to its customers and does not cater to their customers needs.
