I have a Ford Explorer 2016 that required service for recalls and basic maintenance. I called the maintenance department and was on hold for 10 minutes. Finally some one answered and put me on hold again and then the call dropped. So, I sent a service request via their online e-mail system. They commit to responding within 24 hours and after 4 days still no response. My second car is a Honda and the level of service responsiveness is day and night. read more

I purchased a "CPO" 2014 Ford Expedition from another dealer over the summer. In 3 months their were 2 minor issues with the vehicle and last straw was a major transmission problem. Losing confidence in the vehicle, I took it back where I bought it to ask them if they would trade in for what I paid for a new car. They came back and offered $4500 LESS. My truck was having issues so I took it on on a Friday afternoon after Christmas (worst time ever) and I was immediately told they wouldn't even be able to look at my truck until after New Year's. I felt like they thought I had no clue what was wrong with my truck when I knew exactly what was wrong with it. After explaining multiple times they finally told me they would do what they could to diagnose it. I called back in Saturday morning (the next day) and Dan was completely rude and said they didn't have time to look at my truck and asked why i assumed my truck would jump to first in line (even though another service tech told me they would check it out today). On the phone I was told they couldn't find out what was wrong. I went to pick up the truck, explained my truck situation to ANOTHER service tech and he was rude and said he had no idea what was going on. I asked if I could buy a battery and he said they would install it but I said I would just take the battery and install it myself. He walked in the back, came back out and said they will drive your truck around and you can take it. Apparantly they have no customer service and didn't want to make any business. I know it's a busy season but they had no reason to treat a customer rudely and to make me feel like I have not a clue what I'm talking about when I knew what was wrong with my vehicle because it's had this issue before. I will NEVER go back to this ford dealership again and they have the worst customer service. Dealership service departments get a bad rap and they are treated like shit but this dealership deserves it because they were completely rude to me for no reason. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE! My husband's car was hit while parked and the entire driver's side had to be fixed/replaced. We dropped the car off before Christmas and were told it would be ready after New Year's on January 4. On January 4 my husband called to confirm the vehicle was ready for pick up and he was told that it would not be ready until the 11th. He then called on the 11th and they said that the vehicle was STILL not ready and would be ready on Monday the 14th. Well today is Monday and guess what? The car is STILL not done and they ordered the WRONG door! They are now predicting that it will be ready on Friday, but we're not going to hold our breath. My husband drives for Uber and has not been able to earn money for almost a month now because of this wonderful Ford dealership!! Do not bring your car here for anything! read more

the dealership doesn't seem much different than any other. What REALLY sucked is that I called to look at a specific vehicle; an advertised Ford Transit connect. I test drove it, but it smelt like DOG ...like literally a kennel owner had this truck. I wasn't sure I really wanted it, but as we were getting out another salesman says to my salesman., "Hey Kevin, you know that sold already, right? So I drove out from West Philly to the dealership for nothing. And YES: kevin tried to sell me something else. Jerk. The salesman's name is Kevin Stuski and I officially think he is an asshole. What has me STILL pissed is that I am on Kevin's email list. I have replied *several times* to ask to be removed since I explained that I HAVE ALREADY BOUGHT A TRANSIT CONNECT *FROM ANOTHER DEALER*. I love the car, but I will not do business with these people. Almost a YEAR later, I just got another email. Last straw. Now you got your review. I've just purchased a new Ford here. I know car salesmen sometimes get a bad rap, but I've gotta say these guys were nothing but great! When we came in, we didn't feel any hard pressure. They were extremely patient as we test drove several cars and were great explaining features the car had. Even when we had a question about the car's performance several days later, every effort was made to try and remedy the situation. Special props here to Jerry Bernstein, but we interacted with several people, from the money guys to other sales staff. They were all great! I know this is a sales and service dealership. Sales department was extremely helpful, customer service oriented, and professional. Treated me with kindness, patience, and a clear investment in keeping me as a long-term customer. I suggest that anyone thinking about buying a Ford do it here. My only disappointment was with their finance person. She rushed me through the process, and as a first time new car buyer I felt pressured to make decisions quickly. In the end I felt somewhat pressured into a financing option that I probably would not have gone with if the process had been more relaxed. I will end up refinancing, as the interest rate is higher than it should be, but in the future I think the customer experience could be improved by creating a more relaxed and patient atmosphere for finalizing the transaction. It was my mistake that I didn't walk in having already shopped interest rates for financing the purchase but my overall experience would have been five stars if I had not felt rushed through the closing process. I purchased a used car from here was extremely dissatisfied with the customer service. The particular dealer I had the "pleasure" of working with was Fred Roberto. He continuously made snippy remarks, was disrespectful and very unprofessional during the process. I was purchasing my first car so I wanted to make sure it was right for me. He made me feel rushed and had a sense of urgency. I went through my bank to do financing, so it took a few days to get approved and get the check. Fred continuously called me inquiring when I was coming back with the money. I ultimately purchased the vehicle because it was a good fit but not before going through hell with Fred first. Edited review. I'm still keeping this a 1 star because I'm still shocked and upset about my experience here. April 17th I ended up at the Conshohocken to buy a van. I was happy up to 3 days ago when GM Chris Mancini calls me and said there's a problem with the title of the van I traded in and I have to drive there to give them the title to my other van. I'm a electrical contractor with multiple vans of the same year. Ok no problem. So I go there and was ignored by 3 sales men and 2 behind the counter for a couple mins. The sales manager acknowledge me wanted me to sign my title over from the van I traded in 4 months ago but where's my title to my daily driven van? Told him I wanted to talk to Chris before I sign anything. Waited another 20 mins for Chris. When he should up we sat down and I asked him where my title was and how am I getting it back before I sign another van over to you. His response was I am not a auto tags guys and I dunno. You have to sign this over first before you can get your other back or trade in your daily driver for a new van and he will handle the mess. I didn't appreciate his attitude, him calling me "bro" or the multiple times he told me it was 100% my fault! Ok. Fine I thought they would check the title to the vans vin number but I guess that's not important. I walked out to cool off. Went back in to talk to him about let's fix this it's not the right time for me to buy a van but if it fixes the issue fine. I'll buy new van. He calls the whole seller that bought my other van and asks them how much will they will pay him for my van in front of me, I walked out and That's when I uncomfortable. I will be going to Fred Beans and McCafferty when I get my title back. Well after a day and a couple phone calls. They processed the title through Harrisburg to there shop, then they sold the vehicle to the whole seller, title processed again through Harrisburg. Then new dealer tried to sell it and that's when they realized the vin of the van didn't match title. 100% my fault huh Chris. Meanwhile I've been driving around the van everyday which they been selling my title. Which also means I've been driving a van with bad plates and registration for 4 month! I just found out today! I got a hold of Chris Kennedy through a mutual associate. He answered the phone right away, listened to me and my concerns and gave me 3 options to straighten out the problem including - 1 meeting the person with my title and both signing them over at the same time, dropping it off at his personal house which is 10 mins away from mine and not 45mins to conshohocken , or doing it today at conshohocken and he will have a new plate and temp tag for my van and the my title will be there today also. 3 solutions I was comfortable with. Did it today, Chris Kennedy kept his word. Marty and Devon were professional. So yes, as soon as I get my title I am getting rid of this van ASAP because I don't even want to think about the what ifs could of happened(me getting pulled over or other person driving a van I traded in that I had the title too still) sickening experience last 2 days. Thank God I still had the right insurance on the right van. 0 stars for Chris Mancini 3 stars to the salesmen ignoring me(same thing happened to me at reedman's when I waited in the showroom at a Tahoe for 30 mins to buy and was ignored by all the salesmen maybe cause I dress in ripped work shirts and ripped pants they thought I couldn't afford it?I dunno,a young kid asked if I needed help and sold me the car, I'm glad he got the commission) 2 stars for not catching the title issue. If it was still on their lot, they caught the problem and couldn't of sell it because of the wrong title I would have dropped it off that hour, been apologetic, felt stupid, and followed up with a letter of a sincere apology. A few months ago I went into buy a used Ford Raptor. The salesman accused me of driving a stolen vehicle based on the Carfax he pulled. Then he told me I'd need to pull some kind of paperwork from the bank to prove my trade-in wasn't stolen. This was no easy process. It took about two weeks and a few phone calls. Once I had the papers, I returned and was told the truck had been sold. I'm guessing I was given the runaround to for someone elses benefit. In any event, I wasted a bunch of time jumping through their hoops for nothing. I was quoted a price earlier because I knew I needed brakes too and when it came to paying the bill, all was exactly as quoted....no surprises. They said a little more than two hours and that's how long it took. In that time, a very nice masseuse gave me a free chair massage! It made the waiting time so much nicer! Bought a used 2007 Cadillac CTS 3.6 Feb 2015 was inspected Jan 2015 by John Kennedy Ford Thought it was a great deal and nice car found a major crack in the rim second day have pictures to prove. Should have never passed inspection under PA DOT. OK no problem I missed it when buying it I ate the $150 to repair the rim. FF 3000 miles 4 months later send it in to my Mechanic for and oil change to have him call me telling me I need new breaks and rotors all around. Then tells me there is no way they pulled these wheels to Inspect the car it should have failed then and now is costing me $1200. Then tells me the rough idling is the timing chain and need to be replaced and fixed. Once again should have been caught at Inspection. Yeah the only person who got a good deal out of this was John Kennedy Ford for unloading a lemon on me. Also I am forwarding all my mechanics notes and letter to PennDOT that they should look into John Kennedy Fords Mechanics and Inspection practices for used cars they are selling. read more

We have purchased 3 cars from Kennedy and have had countless service appointments and auto body repairs done there. These guys are the best. They stand behind their work. If they make a mistake they correct it. For example. We own a Ford Flex that has 50000 miles on it. There was rattling coming out of the right rear end. We brought it back a few times to diagnose the issue. They finally thought they knew the issue was one of the suspension links in the rear of the car. Turns out that wasn't the issue and rather it had something to do with the brake caliper. Granted the bushings in the linkage were very worn. Instead of charging us for the linkage repair and the brake caliper. They fixed everything for the price of the linkage repair. Saved us around $300. They did it because we had made a few trips already to diagnose the issue. Now we could be mad because we made a few trips or we could be really happy that they saved us $300. I'm happy because they were honest and realized the value of our time and saved us a lot of money. We have countless other stories like this about how Kennedy goes above and beyond for their customers. Remember people nobody's perfect and we all make mistakes. My husband and I came in to check out the Escape. From the minute we met Freddy at the door, he was kind, not pushy... and funny! We had our dog with us because we'd only planned to test drive, but ended up loving the Escape Titanium Edition so much that we wanted to go through with a lease if we could swing it finacially. The staff at the dealership were so good with our dog - even making sure he had water and letting us bring him into the showroom while we waited for everything to process. Expecting our first child in a few weeks, we were really wanted the amenities the Escape offered (touch screen navigation, foot activated lift gate, leather interior for easy cleaning, bluetooth, four wheel drive, good trunk space, a high safety rating, keyless entry... I could go on and on because there are so many more!) but we weren't sure if we could make the price work with our budget. Freddy did all he could to help get the price to a workable range for us and we drove off the lot in our brand new Escape! Having the car for a week now, we're absolutely in love with it and are beyond happy we made the purchase. I keep telling my friends and family, "I feel like I'm driving a luxury car!"
