I had trouble ordering online so I clicked on chat and got Ryan based in my favorite Southern California mall. He secured the item I wanted and I received it in less than 24 hours from the time I placed the order. He even texted the tracking number and followed up just before the delivery. Ryan is the man! Thanks

Missing button after a few hours of wearing it. Cheap low quality.

Quality went down alot especially the John Varvatos USA which is all made in China. Buttons falls apart within 1 use for something I paid 400 dollars for it should last alot longer than 2 hours.

RJ helped me a ridiculous amount! He was able to give me a ton of advice and brought me multiple sizing options! 10/10 great shopping experience

awesome customer service. =D

Love the edgy rock the style. Love the boots, jackets and suits. Evan is amazing and found all the stuff to fit me perfect.

Great clothes, but horrible salespeople. They ignore you, unless you are making a big purchase. I would buy varvatos stuff somewhere else.

well, Omar immediately helped me out, told me they would send the belt out to have it repaired, then mailed to my doorstep.

I always stop by this place but I never seem to walk out with anything. I come expecting good…read moremerchandise the next time around but it doesn't always happen. This was the closest place here in OC to find BBC stuff but it doesn't look like they have much of it anymore. I only look at the shirts and hats because the jackets and pants/shorts always seem way over priced. I know some of these are limited edition but c'mon.. if you want $250 for a jacket you're gonna have to add more than a patch or small graphic to a regular looking jacket/hoodie to get my business. Also, this place could use some better customer service. I don't know how many times I've stopped by and the guy at the desk just sits there clicking away on the computer.

Commissary is probably the best streetwear boutique in the OC. They carry brands like Stussy, Huf,…read moreSupreme, Bounty Hunter, Undefeated, BBC, Clientele, Ice Cream, Fucking Awesome, and their own self-titled brand. The signs in the store are hilarious! "We don't care about your 'brand'. So please, don't ask if we want to sell it." I forgot the other one, it went on the lines of "no shirt, no shirts, no bullshit??" or "we don't take any of your bullshit"...I forgot, blunt..but real and funny. The store itself is real sleek. One of the nicer shops I've been to. Workers are chill, they have displays out, most of their supply is in the back, just ask for various sizes.

Only based on shopping experience…read more I had a lovely experience. Tried on multiple items, had an associate help bring my items to a room (because I had so many), and I continued to shop around. He was so lovely, and even remembered my name and checked in with me prior to leaving. I can't remember his unfortunately (he was tall, dark, and handsome). I got lucky enough to purchase items that were new/clean and for an extra 50% off. A Levis sweatshirt, Aritzia tank top, Princess Polly jeans, and a Patagonia dryfit shirt, for a total of $23 with tax. Surprised they have 12 employees working that day, a lot for a thrift shop. Checking out took abnormally long due to one register, and a buyer being upset from a past purchase and not agreeing with stores policy, felt bad for the worker handling that issue/confrontation. Apologies to everyone else who had a terrible selling and shopping experience. Hopefully they improve, and I definitely will return again for the meantime.

As a buyer, I love this place--so I figured I'd try selling here. Almost a huge mistake…read more The offers were honestly shocking. An Alo hoodie? $2. A vintage 100% silk Victoria's Secret top? $0.10--yes, ten cents. A rag & bone handbag? Also $0.10. When I asked for clarification, they said maybe the buyer didn't realize the brand... but even then, how does that justify ten cents? The only offer that felt remotely fair was $50 for my Balenciaga hoodie. Everything else? Basically nothing--$1 total for four additional items. They were also "authenticating" my vintage Dior bag, and at that point I just stopped the process. I wasn't about to risk them offering me such a low price for it. It genuinely felt absurd. I understand resale businesses need margin, but this felt extreme. It honestly made me feel bad for people who sell here--like you'd have to be in a really tough spot to accept those kinds of offers. What's more frustrating is that nothing in the store is priced anywhere near that low. As a buyer, I've spent real money here--I even bought a beautiful vintage D&G belt for $250. Now I can't help but wonder what they paid for it. This experience definitely changed how I see the store. I still think they have great pieces, but the selling side feels incredibly one-sided. Offering even 20-30% of resale value would feel a lot more reasonable. Their "coding" for buying, It's a huge scam. As much as i loved shopping here.. you are better off not selling. Don't give your items away unless you're truly okay with the price--don't make a decision out of desperation. (If you have that luxury)

One of the most uncomfortable retail experiences I've had. I returned a dress that didn't fit, and…read morethe employee repeatedly accused me of wearing it even after I explained I had not. I understand store policies, but the way she spoke to me felt extremely demeaning, dismissive, and unprofessional. I will not be shopping here anymore after this experience. The employee was a tall white woman with blonde hair and very bright pink blush, which made her easy to recognize. Her attitude and facial expressions came across very arrogant, judgmental, and discriminating, which made the situation even more embarrassing. It stopped feeling like a normal return and started feeling like I was being looked down on. I shop at Alo frequently and have spent a lot of money there over time, which made this experience even more disappointing. It wasn't even about the store credit at that point, it was about how poorly I was treated. Customer service should never make customers feel humiliated.

I had a very disappointing experience at the Alo Yoga Costa mesa location…read more The service was extremely unfriendly, especially from a female manager who came across as arrogant and dismissive. I also felt there was judgment and discrimination toward customers who may not fit a certain body type or appearance standard, which made the shopping experience very uncomfortable and unwelcoming. As a customer, everyone should be treated with respect regardless of their body shape or appearance. Unfortunately, this location did not reflect the inclusive image the brand promotes. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves both professionalism and customer service.
