Don't second guess, just call/email John Warren Photography and you will not be disappointed. My husband and I got married in 2012 and to this day whenever I look at the pictures John had taken, it always bring me back to that special day. Three years later, gave birth to a baby boy & we just couldn't pass not having a newborn photoshoot or have a cake smash photoshoot for our son's 1st b-day; the ONLY photographer for us is John Warren. He produced the most beautiful pictures and had this ability to capture special moments in the most unique ways. He's very easy to work with and will give you recommendations and advices how to make the day even more special, so please listen to him because he knows his trade very well. We could not recommend John Warren Photography highly enough!

Warren is an amazing photographer. He shot our engagement and wedding photos. Choosing a wedding photographer, i believe, is one of the most important part of your wedding planning. After the day is gone all you'll be left with is a blur of emotion and memories, the photos will help you relieve the day. If you've never taken professional photos before it is intimidating, it isn't facebook photos were you just stand and smile. Warren truly helped us come out of our comfort zone. He told us exactly what to do and where to stand etc.. I can't say enough great things about warren and his team. When we got our wedding photos back I cried. Like I said they day goes by so fast and there are moments that are captured on film that i don't even remember. Warren becomes part of your family i will be choosing him for all of our future life events.

If you want memorable photos, book John Warren! He's taken important milestones in our lives. We first worked with him in 2012 for our engagement photos and a few months ago for our baby announcement photos. He and his wife Shaiane are very accommodating and professional. They make sure they get to know us and what we want to see in our photo shoot. John has the ability to make you comfortable in front of the camera and he goes out of his way to get the perfect shot! John - thanks for capturing our special moments! We'll give you a call when our baby comes out. :)

You will not regret booking John Warren Photography! My husband and I got married two years ago, we booked Warren for our engagement and wedding photos; one of the best decisions we made! He/staff was professional, friendly and to say talented is an understatement. My husband and I love all our photos and always enjoy sharing our engagement/wedding album. We always get so many compliments! Thank you Warren for capturing such great moments of an unforgettable time for my hubby and I!

My husband and I just got married this past weekend, and though it was extremely stressful and hectic in the days leading up to the wedding, the actual day was surprisingly relaxed and more enjoyable than we both anticipated. This was due largely in part to Warren and Shaiane's relaxed and professional demeanor. They are both so generous with their time and skill, and were very flexible when our reception ran late...they were with us for 14 hours!!! ...and didn't show any signs of fatigue. Warren is very open to suggestions, but is more than ready to direct photos that he thinks would look beautiful. We felt like models at a photoshoot that day :P The sneak peeks we've gotten a glimpse of throughout the day makes us eager to see more! His photography is absolutely breath taking...I highly recommend John Warren Photography for any event! I know we will be re-visiting them in the future for sure :)

John Warren Photography, thanks for the memories!

John Warren photography is an amazing company! It's been three years since our weeding, and my wife and I are still very happy with our wedding pictures! :-) John Warren and staff are very professional, timely, and fun to work with. We definitely recommend them for your next event.

This guy is Talented and has some serious skills! My husband and I got married about 2 months ago and we go right back to that special day we said "I do" just by looking at the photographs that were captured by the amazing photographer Warren. The John Warren team captured more than special moments but memories we will hold on to for the rest of our lives. It was all thanks to our wonderful friends who recommended John Warren Photography. As soon as I saw their wedding pictures, I knew we had to have this team on our wedding day. From the moment we met with Warrent to go over pricing he was very professional, punctual and had creative ideas galore. That is one thing that definitely stood out to my husband and I, Warren has numerous ideas, is very creative, enthusiastic and passionate about what he does. He shot our engagement shoot (Roof Top in DTLA) He made us look and feel like models, the shots were jaw dropping. All of our friends and family were raving about our shoot. These pictures were breathtaking, they really looked like they belonged in a bridal magazine. Another thing that impressed us about JWP is that they are willing to go the extra mile/s for your shoots. The day of the wedding came and the JWP team was on time and excited to capture our big day. They were so patient and sweet as we had them going back and fourth from the hotel room, to the church and then to the reception. As I look at my photos every moment is shot , he did not miss a thing! The day I received our photos, I was touched to find them in a special packaging/Keepsake box that I know took them extra time and effort to create. Warren and his team exceeded my expectations and I would highly reccommend anyone looking for a photographer to hire him. So in love with our photos! So in love with their services! Thank you so much JWP you guys are the absolute best!!

My husband (who was then, my boyfriend) and I met Warren in 2012. We saw him working behind the scenes from our friends wedding and decided we really want him as our photographer for our wedding. We got married August 28, 2015 in Kauai, HI and we only thought of 1 photographer, WARREN! Nothing beats him, nothing compares his work from other photographers. Warren is one of a kind. He has a vision that no other photographers have. He will make you comfortable in front of the camera, he will go with you and go an extra mile just to take that shot. But man, once you see the email or the pictures posted, your jaw will drop because that picture that he took is AMAZING. All i can say is i definitely and already have recommended Warren to most of my friends and will continue to recommend him to everybody. Him and his wife Shaiane are very accommodating, professional and easy to get a long with. Warren - from Disneyland/CA Adventure, to Kauai with rain, double rainbows, storm and a successful wedding! Thank you so much for capturing one of the best days of our lives. You guys are the best.

Truth be told....I write this with a bit of a tear in my eye....not to get too melodramatic over a…read moreyelp review....but pictures...when done perfect and if your in a particular sentimental mood....can have that effect. Some backstory...Imagix/Michelle has done our yearly photos for our son from ages 1 to now 5. (See my past reviews). From somehow capturing a perfect moment from our perpetually moving blur of a son (ages 1-3) to patiently instructing four 70/80 year olds on how to hold their aforementioned 4 year old Tasmanian Devil grandson last year, Michelle is a magician/artist...I always leave the photoshoot stressed from the chaos Hurricane Daniel (our son) leaves in his wake....But every year we come back to look at the proofs and are amazed at Michelle ability to capture "lighting in a bottle" . This year was no different. Fortunately we survived the terrible 2's (...3's....4's....) and thanks to time, maturity, and the opposite of gentle parenting, our little Daniel, though far from perfect, is manageable. But we didn't want to make it too easy for Michelle, so we threw in another variable. After a recent canine cancer scare, and recently learning from Google that all dogs, however loyal and cute, unfortunately have an inescapable life, span, I somehow convinced my beautiful but camera shy wife that this is the year we do a family photo with our dog. Some more backstory, if you read this far, our Yorkie, Libby, loves us but HATES the rest of the world. She spent the entire hour photoshoot in perpetual scowl and Volume 11 non stop bark. One week later as she always does, lighting in a bottle perfection. I looked at the proofs with amazement. Our son, we expected....she's done it every year, but how she made a loud perpetual yapping bark into a impossibly cute smile is above my skill set. But I think her greatest feat is how she lessened the "he must be rich" looks gap between my wife and I. My wife is easy, even me with my amateur Android skills, it's hard for her to take a bad picture. Michelle mastery came with how she elevated me to "he must be funny" looks gap level. So why the tear? We loved one of the pics so much we purchased a large framed canvas print to hang on our living room wall. My 85 year old happened to be in town for his grandsons 5th bday so I asked him for an helping hand hanging the picture. I figured he has these family portrait hanging at my childhood home. My brother and I with our full head of hair and my mom shoulder pads captured the 90's to a tee...but what I always remember is the "proud" look my dad had on his face. A look of accomplishment shouting "look at me world and all that I love and created". Watching my aging dad struggle, listing to my aging dog bark in a locked room to protect my dad's ankles, I was suddenly reminded that time, as much as you want to hit pause, always moves forward. It's a good idea to stop and smell the roses, or in this case, look at the snapshot/memories/moments and take it all in. After my dad handed me the leveler and I put away the hammer, and I looked up....and yeah....I had that "Dad" look

Once you enter the AR Gallery, you'll see the studio on your right. They have an extremely small space with two rooms. One room features white walls, and the other room features colored backgrounds. There's many props from headbands and hats to chairs and stools and more! Some props can use a cleaning, but you can't really see it in the photos. Service: I decided to do a walk-in, so I didn't book an appointment or prepay online. They only take walk-ins starting at 11:30. They're not busy on weekdays but busier during the weekends. I completely forgot his name, but the worker that checked me in was nice, efficient, and knowledgable about the offerings. They provide a large screen with gridlines, lighting, and a small remote. They'll give you a timer, so you'll know exactly how much time you have left during your session. Studio Session & Photos: I chose the 5 minute session with the colored background. You'd choose two colors out of five options. Since I chose the colored walls, let the worker know when you're ready to switch colors. They'll pause the timer, switch the background, and continue the timer. The small remote is easy to hide in the photos. The lighting is perfect, and the photos came out amazing! Pricing: All details and prices are on their website. It's easy to book an appointment online. Since my birthday was three days away, the worker gave me a 10% discount. They also offer other discounts. All details are listed on their website. Highly recommend this studio!

For some reason things just didn't align well with my baby's naps and feedings that day so it was hard to manage a tired baby but they managed to get real good photos of my baby and the family. My baby didn't really smile much yet but they were still able to get smiling pictures of her too. Very professional and works so hard to get the best pictures. I was truly grateful for this studio and loved my experience. Also the picture quality was amazing!! The backgrounds were cute and the clothes were so adorable too!! The price point is reasonable and I'd say cheaper than some others for a better quality. I think the turn around time to receive the photos were faster than we expected too. Truly appreciate working with this photographer. He really seems to love what he does and we are blessed with these amazing photos!!! Couple things to note/tips: 1. Go when your baby can smile. Yes after their neck strength gets way better too. My baby still can't really smile yet and she's 4 months old. I really wanted to push having 100 day photos when she was 3.5 months old so neck strength and expressions aren't expected. 1a. Also go when your baby is well fed, pooped, rested, good condition, etc. makes a world of difference. 2. They give you a looooot of photos to choose from. Be prepared to be pleasantly overwhelmed with photos. If you get decision fatigue then ask your spouse to help. Cause I loved getting the full gamut of photos. 3. They have a wardrobe but if you want your baby to wear something specific, bring it! Their wardrobe is pretty cute tho and fits with their backgrounds. 4. They have set backgrounds to choose from in their studio. The backgrounds are really cute but if you're looking for something specific, unique, tailored to you, the studio setting might not be for you. But tbh all 100 day, dohl, event photos basically look the same...so I would think it's odd to expect something different. I've seen tons of beach engagement pics. Tons of dohl pics with the same backgrounds and balloons. So why complain about a studio pic with similar styles and backgrounds or lack of variety? You're already the unique and different baby/family. So there's that. 5. Bring a toy or something that can get your baby's attention. I realized belatedly my baby likes to stare at herself in the mirror. She also likes her little fox doll. If your baby has a preference for a toy, perhaps being prepared like that will help with the experience! 6. Match your clothes with your family and partner beforehand. Clothes, accessories and shoes too so they look cohesive in the photos! Belatedly realized my husband's shoes didn't match any of our family's and my son's also seemed a little too bright. Oh well. Overall I loved the photos! Thank you again for the awesome and kind experience!!!

If you want to re-live your big day over and over again years later, James is your guy! My wife and I had never done a professional photoshoot. Neither of us are particularly comfortable in front of the camera. After interviewing 5 different photographers, we knew from our first conversation that James was the one. He is incredibly friendly, easy going, and knowledgeable. We agreed to do an engagement session, 1 location for 90mins to see if we'd be comfortable working with James. It couldn't have gone better. Initially, we were a bit stiff, but James gave us tips on how to act naturally, suggested poses and hand positions that made us feel and look relaxed. The time flew by and we actually ended up going to a second location with a wardrobe change. Overall, it was about 2 hours. James did not mind at all. In fact, he probably could've gone longer if the sun hadn't set on us! Our photos were edited and received in less than 2 weeks! James was kind enough to print a large poster and sign that shipped to our house in just a few days. He price matched any package/prints from other photographers. Having gone through our engagement session seamlessly, we hired James to shoot our wedding as well. He and an assistant were on site for 10 hours, tending to our every need and keeping us on our timeline. After our planned family/wedding party photos, we hardly even noticed them working as we proceeded with wedding events. After the wedding, we received many compliments on how great James was and several guests asked for his contact information. Within a couple of days, we received a preview of about 20 photos highlighting our big day. We were thrilled! Every important moment was captured so elegantly! The full magazine of photos was available for download in about 1 month. James then worked with us to print a high quality photo book for our coffee table. You can't go wrong with James--his high quality work and work ethic speak for themselves. There is no substitute for how easy and stress free he made us feel, so that we could truly enjoy ourselves knowing that he would capture every single moment candidly. Do not hesitate to hire James, it will be the best decision you will ever make.
