Ordered via Uber Eats, this buffalo chicken were from John King Grill was one of the best wraps I have had. Stuffed full of spicy buffalo chicken. It was delicious and enough to eat for 2 meals! Also, it arrived quickly and was very reasonably priced.

I'm pretty sure this is a tourist trap. [[HIGHLIGHT]]There's a $20 cover charge to see the dueling pianos - which did at least start punctually at 8p - but the food menu is uninspiring and the drinks no better than what a beginner would make.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I loved how the piano-playing sisters sung and took song requests, letting guests expel karaoke energy without the rest of us having to listen to subpar singers carry the tune.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]But your whole group - including your friends and the other guests - does have to be into it, or the enjoyment wanes quickly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

The food was good! My tenders were soft and juicy and tossed in garlic Parmesan. My wife had the patty melt and onion rings. She liked her meal a lot. The server did a great job. She was attentive and friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant was chaotic![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]But it was also Halloween night and they had piano players hammering out tunes. It was fun to watch the crowd and even the people passing by were dancing to the music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

After dinner down the street, my husband and I decided to pop over for some music and fun. We went upstairs and it was pretty busy but we were able to grab a two top. The music was LOUD and FUN and everyone was having a great time. It was a big space and the bar was a good size as well, we didn't have to wait long at all for our drinks. I will not get the espresso martini again - not the way I usually like it - but the other drinks were fine and we enjoyed the vibe. The overall experience was good and I'd definitely go back!

Great experience, great food! On our first day visiting Charleston, we stopped here for dinner. We enjoyed it so much, we went multiple times! The smash burger, chicken wrap, and fries were all really good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The Dueling Piano is a fun, unique experience as well.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommend stopping by at least once. They do have a cover charge for the dueling piano. I believe it was $10 per person when we went. It was a lot of fun. It's also in a great location.

Came by for a late night bite... not only was it closed 3 hours before the hours posted stated- but [[HIGHLIGHT]]there was a gigantic rat in the middle of the restaurant[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. When I tried to snap a pic a manager came out and asked if we needed anything. Sir- not only are you closed 3 hours early I pointed out there was a large vermin in the middle of the dining room.. he pretended to be surprised.

The food here was fabulous! We ordered lunch on a Monday. Our food came out fast and everything was hot. The mozzarella sticks tasted house-made. Fried were seasoned good. Grilled chicken salad was great. The Cesar dressing was really good. Found something everyone wanted to eat. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ran out of soap in the bathroom.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] $62 for 2 adults & 2 kids.

JKGrill and Dueling pianos Bar on Kings St and John St in downtown Charleston is a cute and unique little burger joint. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Downstairs they have a small bar and restroom. Upstairs is the Dueling Piano bar. The piano bar does have a cover charge. The service is fast and the staff is friendly. The hamburger was delicious and serviced with your choice of side. Prices are reasonable for Charleston. The side salad was delicious with green peppers, onions, tomatoes Croutons and your choice of salad dressing. The hamburger was tasty. Parking is a challenge since it is downtown Charleston. If you are downtown and hungry for a hamburger, give JK's a try.

Purple lights were strong at this place. Look at that salad... it's kinda sad.

It is not wheelchair accessible like this says. You can get in but you cannot get upstairs to see the dueling pianos.

They offer complimentary valet parking, so there is no need for us to search for on-street parking in downtown Charleston. We walked over to the Thoroughbred Lounge and were greeted by the hostess, who led us to our table. We absolutely loved the interior design, which is vintage and elegant. The staff was so kind and personable, and they knew right away that we were celebrating a special occasion. Our server walked us through the menu in a way that was digestible and easy to follow. There were even different vials of tea leaves to smell and browse through before deciding. Since there were two of us, we were able to order two different flavors, and we chose the Earl Grey and the Coconut. Our personal favorite was the Coconut. We really wanted the Earl Grey to be our favorite, since the aroma of the tea leaves was wonderful, but the tea itself came out bitter and required sugar and cream to enjoy. I will note that we made the mistake of swirling the Earl Gray teapot so that may have contributed to how it turned out. And then came the tower of savories, pastries, and decadent desserts, and we were completely blown away. Everything was perfect, the taste and texture. It was such a thoughtful touch that they included a "Congratulations" chocolate bar at the top to commemorate the occasion. To top it all off, the staff offered to take photos of us in the middle of the Charleston Place with the stunning floral arrangements and chandeliers in the background, and the pictures came out beautifully. I am so glad we finally came, and I truly hope Thoroughbred Lounge never changes or closes. It is such a wonderful concept, and there is simply no other place that delivers this level of service and British-style food.

Hi Everyone, We want…read moreto first compliment Gail your host and Owner of the Jazz Corner in Hilton Head, SC for the exceptional talent she has booked over these many years in her club because it is always wonderful. That alone would be a terrific accomplishment but when it is paired with the exceptional, savory fare they offer, the combination makes for a very special event. Their grouper or steak are always exceptionally prepared and delicious and if you prefer wine or cocktails, you have some delightful offerings. The service at the bar, or a table is wonderfully pleasant and very timely in our experience which we always enjoy. We feel the star here is the Jazz as this venue is small enough to feel the music move over you, around you, and through you which is exciting and delightful. These are very talented musicians that hit all the right notes. Their side comedy is always funny as well. Our last visit was on Valentine's Day this year (2026) offered an exceptional guest trio with their Pianist's Father sitting in the audience which was very touching. In our many visits here, over our decades living here in The Low Country, the Jazz Corner has delivered an eclectic evening which is always a thrill. So if you enjoy a romantic evening out with your special someone, we can highly recommend you visit the Jazz Corner together and feel the music overtake you. Enjoy!l

We came for the music, and it absolutely delivered but so did everything else. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed and encouraged to slow down, relax, and truly enjoy the experience. The atmosphere was beautiful, the service was exceptional, and the entire evening felt special. I ordered the Duke Ellington ribeye, and without exaggeration, it was the best ribeye I have ever eaten. As ridiculous as it may sound, time seemed to stop for a moment. Every bite was packed with flavor that hit something deep inside me and took me back to simpler times. It was one of those rare meals that becomes a memory. The experience was so good it almost brought a tear to my eye. Not because it was fancy or expensive, but because the level of care, craftsmanship, and excellence put into that meal was something truly special. My wife ordered the pasta primavera and she described it as simple, light, but packed with flavor. We stayed for hours vibing to the incredible musicianship displayed. The warmth of the staff felt like family. Wish we were local so we could make this a regular date night spot. Thank you for an unforgettable evening. We'll be talking about it for a long time.
