Ambiance, was friendly. The margaritas watermelon & regular were a bit too sweet for me. Food was ok, server was very nice and good at her job.

Excellent food, quick service. We enjoyed the Johnny's meal for two. The chocolate cake was delicious. We also liked the spaghetti and cheese tortellini.

Normally a pretty solid go to, today was off. Service was slow and the place was fairly empty. We watched our pizza sit on the counter for almost 10 minutes while servers just sat around the corner talking. The chips tasted like they were saturated in oil. Food was a 4, service was a 2, they get a 3 today. 7.6/10

A major move in 2021 to Idaho Falls gives me the ability to explore new businesses. It is exciting for me to be able to review these offerings on Yelp. I was running errands and decided to have a bite to eat. So since I've never enjoyed the cuisine at Johnny Carino's I thought I'd give it a try. It was average. I ordered the beef medium rare and it came medium. That was alright, but it could have been better. The fries were typical fries. The house wine was pleasant. As to the service, I have no complaints. I might return, but it would not be my first choice of a place to dine.

Excellent food, service depends on which server you get; it's either really good or terrible. Love bringing my wife to dine in, the atmosphere is comfortable. We'd eat here more often if the food wasn't overpriced (see pic, that's $18 with iPhone for size reference)

Love their dipping sauce for the bread

Nice staff, a little slow service. Food was ok; too much dressing on salad, but otherwise not bad. Clean bathrooms!

Park & A Italia is by far the best Italian restaurant in Idaho Falls. I got a Salmon Tortellini…read moredish with a balsamic glaze and I was blown away by how delicious and perfectly cooked the salmon was and the flavors all complimented each other perfectly. I ordered a soup for my wife and she wasn't particularly impressed with it and there was anything else that appealed to her and our waitress was very understanding and provided excellent service. The ambiance was very cozy and had a rustic character with the rough brick walls and string lights. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone wanting high quality delicious Italian food. My only critiques are that the soup was overly salty and that the serving could be larger. For example the tortellini soup only had 2-3 tortellini in it. The same went for my main salmon tortellini dish. It was maybe slightly larger than the size of my fist and had maybe 10 tortellini but still tasted delicious.

They described their scampi as having "heirloom tomatoes" which were merely cherry tomatoes. They sold me a side of "garden vegetables" that was merely 4 slices of julienned squash. "Shrimp and white wine stock topped with beschemel and parmesan" was in reality, just butter. This meal cost me $90+, but tasted like a child cooked it.

On our recent visit to Pocatello for this weekend's marathon, we ate at PV's for our pasta dinner…read morethe night before the race. It was a little challenging to find, as the signage outside reads Uncorked on Main Street, with a PV's in very small letters at the top - and no mention of pasta & vino. Not sure if the restaurant was recently renamed? The location was very nice, right in the heart of Pocatello's Old Town. The restaurant's interior was basic but clean and welcoming. Food was what I would call average. I ordered the large Caprese salad, which came with small slices of tomatoes and mozzarella. Not very large, but well seasoned and fresh. I ordered the pasta with steamed clams. The sauce was creamy, which I didn't expect from the menu description that only mentioned white wine. It was also not very hot. However, it too was well-seasoned and the clams were excellent. Service was not the fastest but very friendly. I would definitely give PV's another try on a return trip.

This is an enormous restaurant divided into two huge rooms. The AC wasn't working in the main…read moreroom, so we were seated in the secondary one, which was very comfortable. Wine prices were more than reasonable, and the menu had a good choice of dishes. Hubby ordered Stuffed Chicken Parmigiana, which came with a side of spaghetti and a nice dinner salad. I had some problems with the chicken dish I ordered, which was missing the key ingredients that made me order it in the first place. I was going to keep it anyway, but the waitress, and then the manager, urged me to let them redo it. When it came back, it had the asparagus and prosciutto it was supposed to have, and was delicious, even though the spaghetti was still a bit overcooked, though not as much as the first time. The excellent service more than made up for the shortcomings experienced at the beginning. It's always appreciated when we're treated as valued guests. Because of this I've bumped up my rating from three to four stars. Every restaurant should be as caring as PV.

I was also really impressed with the wine system; you picked out a bottle from the wine shop (from their amazing selection), brought it over to your own table, and the server corked it with no additional fee. Walking up, the outside is very unassuming, even to the point that I almost second guessed our decision, but don't let that deter you. The inside is half wine shop liquor store, half intimate tapas wine bar. There's several long tables for communal dining and a few spots at the bar. During happy hour, all of their drinks are half off as well as their burratas and cheese plates. I got a nice dry rose which was fantastic. For an early evening bite, we got the fried artichokes and the mushroom burrata plate and both were excellent. Overall, this is a cozy spot to bring a friend, a date, or even your parents. The food is fantastic and the drink selection is sure to please everyone. I believe they will also allow you to purchase a bottle at their store to open and drink at the restaurant (corking fee may be required). A hidden gem for sure. Insider tip - if you're splitting the bill, pay attention to the calculated tips. They will charge the full tip on each half rather than calculating it on each half total.
