It leaned more toward a plain potato taste than a true potato salad, I prefer mine with more mayo or condiments mixed in. Service was friendly from the moment I walked in, greeted with smiles the whole way through. I'll definitely be back to give it another shot.

The entire experience is great start to finish. The moment you walk into Johnny Longhots your are on sensory overload. The smell of the mouthwatering pizza and other fare from the kitchen hits your nose while the murals that adorn the walls proclaiming proud ties to both Philly and New York simultaneously fill your eyeballs. You would think this might be all a little too overwhelming upon entry; but rather than serving as a distraction, it lures you further in. As I am a fairly regular patron at Johnny Longhots, I give no more than a cursory glance at the murals on the walls and with no pretense head as quickly as I can to the counter to place my food order. In my excitement, I am not proud to admit, that there have been some near misses of both grandmas and toddlers alike, as my frenzied appetite has caused me to practically run over any and all objects that stand between me and the large selection of slices at the pizza counter. My go to-okay to be more accurate I should say my go to's-are at least 3 each of the following slices: sausage, grandma with onions, peppers, and sausage(custom job), margherita with onions, peppers, and meatballs(another custom job-they are very accommodating), along with some mixing and matching of at least 3 more random slices that catch my eye and excite my appetite(always glad when the tomato pie, the white slice, the Brooklyn, and any veggie slices are among the selection. I always leave with an overly full belly(12-15 slices will do that to you), a garlicky aroma emanating from me, more than a little bloating, but most of all I always leave satisfied. And by the time I pull into my driveway 30 miles away(yes I travel that far for Johnny Longhots) I am already eagerly anticipating my next return. The fact that the owner and his family take so much pride in their restaurant only enhances the experience sort of like a little extra parmesan on top of a slice! read more

Probably the best quick food in town. Hands down. Working at the nearby Honda dealership makes me end up at this place for lunch at least once a week, never been disappointed and owner/cook always make it a point to remember us. Food has never let me down and actually exceeded expectations many times, haven't had their pizza (not a huge pizza fan), but I've had just about everything else they have to offer and it's great food. And if you can't find something on the menu then you didn't read the whole thing, seriously the menu is huge so many options (almost too many options). If your looking for a quick bite, don't look further, it's this place. Prices are good for really great food. What I like the most about this cafe is their cheesecakes, In particular. they bake correctly as to say not too well done, exactly as I love it and I dont feel the soar cream scent as when the cake is not ready yet, besides, the side sauces complement the main dish the best as you can not it cheesecake straight ahead with no sauce at all. I have tried almost all the neighborhood pizzerias since I moved to Cherry Hill 26 years ago and I'm so happy to have found Johnny Longshots in Marlton. He catered my family gathering this weekend and everyone was raving about the pasta, the pizza, the garlic knots and the service. The grandma pizza is absolutely awesome! The longhots are great, too. The staff is pleasant and helpful, and delivery is decent. Gets delayed around noon, so try to order beforehand. We did not dine in, so I can not comment on the ambiance. Overall great food at a decent price. read more
