Since moving to the area back in May we had discovered this place and made it our go-to for Steaks, Cutlets, Hoagies and pizzas! After trying out the chicken parm (with vodka sauce - Amazing) last week, we decided to use them for our catering order for a big party Sunday and we are sooo happy we did!! We ordered meatballs and Penne vodka trays and could not have been any more impressed with the food! The trays were huge and packed to the brim and we received so many compliments on how amazing the food was, especially the meatballs!! And on top of the delicious food, the prices were SO affordable for catering, the service was excellent (they delivered everything hot and exactly when we had askedl)! I ordered through door dash after searching for a New York style pizza. They had good reviews so we ordered but when it was delivered, it had raw dough and the pizza is inedible. The pizza maybe better in the restaurant but I wouldn't recommend it for delivery. Ruined our night and we are left hungry. I would skip the delivery and try dining in. The quality of this place has simply fallen off a cliff. It has been my go-to since it opened and I gave them a 5-star review then. In the past few months, they are screwing up orders and taking a long time to complete bigger orders. They tout their chicken cutlets but when I got a chicken cutlet sub today, it was made with frozen,manufactured chicken fingers. All that being said there are some things they nail every time, like the Brooklyn pizza, meat lasagna, and their seafood pastas. This used to be my go to place for pizza. The food was excellent, the service was friendly. The value was great. Unfortunately, that changed when it changed owners (quietly). The food quality has gone down a bit. The brooklyn pizza was overcooked with a burnt crust. The chicken parm pizza was heavy on chicken, but light on sauce and cheese. The service quality has also decreased and there seems to have been some staff turnover in the transition. Went there with a few coworkers and despite being the last to order, my food came out first and my coworker's food didn't come out until she complained. They had forgotten to put it in the oven. When she complained, they reacted poorly to the situation and didn't try much to make it right. From a value perspective, it's worse in the sense that the quality and service decreased, but the price is the same. It's still a decent deal, but I'll go elsewhere in the future. I've been there a few times where I've heard other customers talk about the quality of the pizza and rave over it's "true New York" style and talk about the "Johnny Longhots/Uncle Johnny" story. The reality is, there is no Johnny Longhots or Uncle Johnny. It's a clever marketing scam to sell a product. If you go there thinking you are getting an authentic experience, you are being tricked. Johnny Longhots is no more a story of a New York pizza maker than Chili's is the story of a Mexican chef. The interior is sort of like the Cracker Barrel or Friday's of pizza restaurants. read more

Johnny Longhots We sampled two sandwiches that day. One was a Italian hoagie and the Famous Italian Hotdog. We'll start out with the hoagie. It was very big but not very good. I made the mistake of opening it and looking at the lunchmeat. It was basically all the same color, not much flavor and very low quality. The hotdog was worse. The peppers and onions were burnt until they were black. The hotdogs were small and mushy and barely heated through. The potatoes were served on the side and not on the sandwich as described. Overall, both sandwiches were losers and the service was very slow. We'd like to rename this restaurant Johnny LongNOTS. We would not recommend this restaurant. read more

My husband I ordered 30 dollars of food. First thing was a cheeseburger on a Sub role. Ii came wrong on a small kaiser roll after placing the order the assured me it would be on a sub role. I it was not and it was awful. Second I ordered a Buffalo chicken wrap that was supposed to be breaded and was not. With Cajun fries in the combo The fries were hard and all the food was uneatable. We spoke with Hannah to ask a couple questions and she was the rudest customer service rep I could ever dealt with. Yelling and being rude. Food was gross over priced. I visited the Hainesport location on 6-09-2023. While I was satisfied with my food order i was dumbfounded that I was charged a non cash fee for using my debit card to pay for my order. How many people use cash to pay for their fast food order? So every customer that uses a credit card to pay for their orders are also paying this establishment's credit card overhead. It's not like their prices are super low to justify this practice. I for one will not be penalized for using the convenience of my debit card for payment. Finally found a place with good sandwich. The pepper in longhot sandwich is nicely grilled and provides a hint of spiciness with each bite. We also had the pizza which was pretty good. But def recommend the longhot sandwich! read more

We were in Marlton NJ and just grabbed some burgers at Shake Shack and had a hankering for pizza later. I kept seeing Johnny Longhots slices pop up every now and then on social media and it really looked decent. So I called in the order in and I could not decide between the Brooklyn and the Grandma pie so I asked if they can do a half and half. They happily obliged. Very accommodating of them. I had to take a shot of it as soon as I put it in the trunk of my truck just to get all that sexy, saucy, cheesy goodness right out of the oven. When we heated later for dinner it lacked seasoning and tang in the sauce that we expected to be there. It definitely was not bad at all, it was pretty decent. It just seemed visually so much more appealing that I had thought. We had higher expectations than what was actually delivered. Amazing new business and addition to the area. The food is super authentic and delicious. They have an insanely large menu, with tons of options. They are also very willing to make changes to menu items to accommodate those with dietary needs. The food is well priced and the portion sizes are HUGE. In addition to excellent food, there is a very friendly and welcoming vibe here. The owner and his wider and super sweet and will take time to chat with you about life in addition to your order. Came on cheese steak Tuesday and got free fries, what a nice treat. Cheese steak was very tasty and the roll was nice and soft. Looks like they are not skimping on the quality of their meat which makes a big difference. Finding good cheese steaks in the area is a struggle. I recommend and will be back to try out other items on the menu. I have had their pizza and it is one of the best in the area. I stopped by Johnny Longhots as they are a new pizza place and I wanted to give them a try being a pizza fanatic. The cheese has a nice pull to it and the sauce has a nice salty sweetness to it, definitely one of the better pizza places in Marlton if not the best. I've been here a few times and have yet to be disappointed, the only issue I had was with one instance of it being very greasy. This though was like due to the pepperoni as this is normally the case. I like the food. Sometimes there is a bit of a wait. I almost stopped going there once before. Today was the last straw. I ordered a cheesesteak, and was told it would be "a couple minutes." Almost 20 minutes later I asked for a refund. I was told that my food was ready and given the bag, along with the excuse that they were closed for 3 days. I'm not sure what that has to do with anything, but honesty would have been appreciated. My sandwich wasn't very hot. I believe it was ready, but no one bothered to give it to me until I asked for a refund. The roll was hard. It wasn't toasted, so it probably also wasn't fresh. I really like this place for their slices( that's why I gave them 3 stars rather than 2), so today I decided to try their wrap. Not good at all to me, just by looking at it I already knew it wasn't going to be good but I paid for it so I'm stuck eating it. Food not ready when picking up, delivery is a black hole and you're lucky to get food after 90 minutes. What happen to this place! Owners must have changed hands. Use to be my go to place for wings, however, since the Eagles Super Bowl win, was the last time I got great wings from there.
