I came here on a Friday afternoon with my 18 month old who loves to be out and about. We've been here twice before but never interacted with employees until today. I purchased a playing card during our second visit and my daughter enjoyed the lights and sounds of the games, as well as pushing the buttons. During our third visit, I decided to order a beer that I would drink as I followed my daughter around the game floor. Ashley was our bartender and she was awesome! She was extremely pleasant and accommodating. She invited us to sit at the bar, explaining that even though it was a bar area, Johnny Rockets was a family environment. As always my daughter enjoyed walking around the game floor and playing the occasional game. I ordered some fries to split with my daughter and it arrived quickly. We both enjoyed it. Again, Ashley was awesome, she served me several beers throughout our visit and was always sweet to us, even engaging with my daughter. I have to admit that I wasn't expecting more than your standard burger place but wow! The food arrived rocket fast and was really tasty. I ordered the BLT with a side of cheesy bacon tater tots. The bacon was crispy with layers of fresh lettuce and tomato on lightly buttered sourdough bread. So fresh and delicious! Tater tots are my new favorite side and I've ordered it at a number of places. These were covered with cheese and a generous helping of bacon bits. My friends ordered burgers and raved about their meals as well. Our server was sweet and very attentive, refilling our drinks without being asked and checking up on us regularly without intruding into our conversation. Went there this past Saturday seating was fast for our party of 6. The price of the burgers were kind of pricey and it was ok nothing to rave about. For the price of the burger you figure you get fries with it but you need to order that separate. Onion rings were ok and the loaded tots were ok as well. Kids enjoyed the games but as far as food wise probably chuck e cheese would have been better. No fruit punch only lemonade but they said they were adding that soon to the menu. I really like this place. The food is mediocre but I consider it comfort food. I love the tater tots and French fries. They keep the place really clean. The kitchen looks spotless from the other side of the counter -- that's a huger thumbs up for me. The arcade games are great and tons of selections to choose from. The service is great as well. I like the bar area and love having a few drinks there given the prices are pretty decent. Although the lighting in the bar area is too dark-- need more lighting because it brings the mood down hence why the seats are always open. Maybe add more televisions? read more

I went out with a friend, he ordered a cheese burger and I ordered chili fries. It was TERRIBLE!! I mean the burger looked like it belonged on one of those sad burger commercials like you just took it out of the icebox and warmed it up. The burger bun looked like it was suffocated, the tomato was warm also with the lettuce that was shredded. For the cheese it was so cold, literally the burger tasted like it was frozen. And for the chili cheese fries, the fries were soggy, i could taste the cheese more than the chili. The cheese and chili were so drippy. The food also took like 10 minutes to get to us. From the beginning, it took a few minutes for the staff to welcome us, then we were seated. 10mins from order to deliver but 30mins for 3 milkshakes. Went here on a Friday night, of course the mall itself was packed but when entering in to get a table this place was not even busy...though we were told the wait was 45 minutes. What made it confusing was that there was like 3 open booths (just needed to be cleaned) and still, a 45 minute wait? Okay...well, we hung around and waited since we had to kill time for a movie to start. When we finally got called in, the table wasn't even prepped for us to sit, the host (although friendly!) apologized and wiped it. Our server was Pat, at first he was cool but as dinner progressed, his service went down hill. He seemed to be stressed with the little amount of tables he had around us. He was a little over powering in his manners and gave no time to really connect with us as his guest. Coming in with restaurant experience myself, it's ALL ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE! He didn't even check on us to see how everything was going, we kept having to flag him down for his attention. The food wasn't even good, we were all just hungry after a long day of work so we ate anyway, plus we had to wait 45 minutes to start! Pat asked if we wanted dessert and after saying no, he QUICKLY brought the check our way. Quick tip...dessert are add ons, give customers ATLEAST 15 minutes after they've eaten dinner to think about dessert! Of course you won't get anyone (or some) to buy if they literally just finished their dinner...anyways, management needs to work on their staff's attention to customer service. I would give this place a 0 if it had that option. I walked in here and saw the sign that said "please wait to be seated" I abided by that to be respectful. I looked at each of the workers at Johnny Rockets to see if they would acknowledge and no one even came up to me. So I sat myself down and waited for someone to help me, mind you there was only 2 couples and 1 family sitting in the dining area. It was not busy at all. A waitress then came up to me and said "Oh I'm sorry you will have to wait." I told her that I've been standing by the sign to be seated but no one helped! I was so irritated that I walked out and accidentally left my shopping bag. Not even 5 minutes later, my shopping bag was gone when I came back. I contacted security and the manager at Johnny Rockets named Fernandez. Fernandez told me he would contact me the next morning and I have waited all day to have an answer. I had to call multiple times to contact him and only his employee picked the phone up and answered. She said that he is busy and can't answer the phone at the moment. She also said that Fernandez told her they couldn't be able to see the full video because the camera wasn't able to reach to where I was sitting. It seems kind of weird for them to say that. They could've at least looked at the camera to see if someone was carrying my shopping bag out the door. I felt it was so wrong of him to tell me a day and time when he will follow up and did not absolutely stick to his words. Don't say anything at all if you can't do that. From loving Johnny Rockets ever since I lived in California to wanting to give this place a 0 is just very disappointing, isn't it? Because I will never come back here and I will tell every single one of my family and friends about how my experience was here at this particular place. Please don't trust this place, it's not worth your time because you may experience one of the worst customer service ever. They bring me my bill... and I shit you not THEY PUT "BACON CHEDDAR BURGER $9.89 with SIDE BEEF PATTY $3.00" um that totals out to $12.89 for a burger that I ORIGINALLY ORDERED THAT COST $11.99. We came at a busy time for lunch on Black Friday but we were still seated right away and got our order taken quickly. This place is huge! There's a restaurant area with seating inside and out, counter and bar seating, booth seats with individual TVs, a party hosting area and of course the arcade and prize section. I was surprised at their extensive drink menu and their happy hour runs from 11am-6pm. We ordered the single Bacon Cheddar and Route 66 burgers with cheese fries. Burgers come by themselves so any sides need to be ordered separately. The burgers are on the smaller side and they're good but certainly not the best I've ever had. I recommend getting the double if you're feeling hungry or if you eat a lot because the single won't be enough. The service was average. Our server was really friendly but I feel they were short staffed so we had to remind him of things and he sort of disappeared at the end catering to other tables. I would definitely come again though and would give this place a solid 3.5 stars. read more

Not the first time we came here... brought some of our good friends from town to enjoy some games and food, first off we go in and the hostess looks like she doesn't wanna be here and just looks irrahz. I ask the hostess if we can take them cause the kids are getting hungry. She looks at me and says let me ask the waitress first. She comes back and says oh sorry they are for separate checks parties so I say we are paying separate anyways so that will work. Then she comes back and says oh we gonna clear two tables side by side so ur party can be together. I said okay that works. We wait another 10-15 minutes and the two tables are not cleared so I go back to the hostess and tell her we will take the two original booths cause no one cleared the other two tables for us. She gives me a irritable look and say wait let me check with the waitress again...... she comes back and angrily grabs a bunch of menus and says follow me. Unreal. This past Saturday we decided to check this place out. As far as pricing and food it looked awesome, but it would've been better if we got to try. My boyfriend and I walked in and since we had our 7 month old daughter with us in her stroller, we opt to sit outside because there were tables and chairs outside. The hostess gave us our menus and we sat there for about 10 min when another family of 3 came and sat outside as well alot further from us and got their order taken before us, mind you we did not even got drinks! Noone came up to us or even checked on us let alone our table was right in front of the entrance!!!! I know this store is fairly new and just opened recently but seriously if we were there first why didn't we get served before the family that came 10 min after us. This is unacceptable and to make matter worst the hostess never looked or made eye contact with me i stared at her to see if she remembered seating us at our table and she kept her eyes on the tables that were inside the restaurant. We went for my daughter's birthday party. Purchased the party package $19.95 per person which included $10 for ticket games and unlimited video games plus food-mini burgers, fries and shakes. The asst. manager loaded our game cards, but when we used it the cards were not loaded with the $10. After telling her, she claimed she had to call and email their IT guy to fix this issue. This took 10-15min. She still couldn't load the cards. Her resolution was to have employees follow my party guests and swipe their employee card in order for my guests to play games. After becoming upset, she then spoke to her manager who gave permission to manually put on the $10. Which I was originally told she could not do. The next day I called and spoke to the manager (When I learned he was the one that made this decision to manually put the money on the card). He offered apologies and said he would add points to our game cards (waiting to see if this will happen). But after 30 minutes of making my guests wait to fix their game cards was unacceptable and I will not be a returning customer. read more

We walked into the restaurant and stood for a couple minutes before someone told us they would be with us soon. The restaurant was slow and we were the only customers waiting to be seated. A couple other workers walked by before someone came to the podium and asked how many of us to be seated. No smile and barely a greeting. The lady seemed irritated at having to seat us. Then another guy showed us to our table. Our waitress approached our table and asked if we wanted anything to drink, still no smile. We ordered and it was once we got our food that we received the first smile when she drew one on our plate. Having previously worked 8 years in the service industry, I know that a smile goes a long way. Part of being in the service industry is the understanding that in exchange for a customer choosing a place to patronage the establishment will provide friendly and hospitable service. Our server did not become friendly or hospitable till after we received our food and by then our experience was already soured. The food itself was mediocre and did not justify the price tag. This place is a nut house. Their only saving grace is that what kid doesn't wanna play games. Everyone is walking around like a chicken without a head. Tried this place for the first time. Upon arrival hosted didn't bother greeting and asked how many. Said for two and her response was it's going to be a 15-20 min wait. In my head I'm thinking are you serious? There are about 10 open tables and you can't sit us down now? So I asked if we could sit at the counter because no one was there and apparently there was no wait. So what's the difference? she said that's fine. Once we got to the counter the manager asked if we really wanted to eat at the counter. At this point I'm a bit annoyed because it seemed like they didn't want anyone to eat here. So I was like yeah because the hostess said it'll be a 20 min wait and I don't want to wait. Then he's like yeah are you sure you don't want a table. Like wtf? Got our food and that was it. Server never came back afterwards. We ordered loaded tater tots never got utensils. Our server saw us eating with our fingers and nothing. Very small area for dining. Disappointed with the service. Some the crew started talking loudly as the stood near the cash register and was distracting, obviously some drama going on.
