I woke up early while staying at the Flamingo so I went to roam for breakfast options. This location of Johnny Rockets is open 24/7 and they are one of the only restaurants open nearby at 6am. The have bar setting diner style and shared tables with the food court if you would like to eat here, but I was ordering togo. I knew my work fams would be hungry when they woke up so I ordered them breakfast too. I ordered us all the Bacon Egg and Cheese Muffin ($14.95) with added Tater Tots ($2.95). I asked for separate bags since I would deliver these to different destinations. The wait was really slow and when the food was ready they gave it to me in one bag. I asked for 3 more bags to separate it myself, but the cashier took the bag and sent it to the back for re-bagging. I honestly would have preferred to do it myself cause I would have been faster and not to mention they got like egg white on the outside of some bags and then forgot one of the sandwiches. They toss these bags at you and walk away. Then I had to wait for ketchup. Too much waiting for my liking. The food wasn't even great but it was what we needed to survive our long day. The muffin was on the dry side and I know they toasted it but it was still pretty soft. The bacon was probably the best thing about the sandwich. And the tots helped soak up any alcohol in our system from the night prior. I'm glad they were open but there are opportunities for improvement with service and execution. read more

Welp, after the show I had one thing on my mind -- a good ol' cheeseburger -- and Johnny Rockets sure did deliver! I'm not sure if I was gettin' treated like the guest of honor or if they make every burger this fresh, but mercy, that thing came out hotter than a fox in a henhouse. The cheese was meltin' right off the patty, the tomato and onion were hangin' on like a cliffhanger in a soap opera, and that poor lettuce was doin' its best to keep everything together. With a little patience (and a whole lotta napkins), I managed to wrangle that burger into submission -- and let me tell ya, it was worth every bite. The restaurant itself was nice and clean, and I couldn't believe how quick that burger came out for being freshly made. Nothing pre-cooked or sitting around -- just good, honest grill work done right. Ain't nothin' fancy about it -- just a downright delicious, old-fashioned burger cooked to perfection. 4 stars because they are one of the place that opens 24/7 and when your bestie and her friend is drunk and you need them to sober up, burgers and fries are one of the many ways to sober up on strips. The bill came out to almost $43 for a cheeseburger combo with a shake that is $11 and side order of tots. I know, crazy price but again, we are on the strip. This Johnny Rockets is location in the Horseshoe hotel, just follow the arrows to Arcade and you will see the food court at the end of it passing by The Lock (see my next review on that ) and The Twlight Zone (Also see my next review on that) You can't miss this location, its going to be on your left corner of that food court, they also have Nathan's Hot Dog, WingZone, Auntie Anne's, Sbarro, Subway and I think there was another food stop but can't remeber the name of it. So lots to choose from if you have a group of people but the rest aren't open 24/7. Please keep that in mind. The initial stages of our visit were pleasant as we placed our orders, but the atmosphere shifted when a staff member rapidly exited and strode towards the back. In the meantime, the manager, who was on a phone call, gave us a cursory glance before finalizing our order. It was noticeable that the staff member neglected to offer an apology, which seemed discourteous. Opting to dine in at the counter, we were taken aback to find our food prepared in bags and served on plastic plates, reminiscent of a take-out order. The breakfast we had was comparable to a high school or military meal. The eggs were powdered, the sausage was dry, and the rest of the food was unremarkable, except for the pancakes. The pancakes were the standout item. We were moderately disappointed. The overall experience felt like a fast-food restaurant. We ordered the American Breakfast, which was priced around $49.72 for two people and included two orange juices. The price was high for the quality of food we received. Furthermore, we had to request our orange juice from the staff, who then pointed us in the direction of bottled orange juice, which was misleadingly advertised as a freshly squeezed beverage in a cup. After missing dinner and wanting to grab what I though would be a quick and inexpensive dinner turned out to be one of the most expensive meals I paid for in Vegas. I could understand if this was a celebrity chef restaurant, but it's a chain restaurant tucked away in a corner at the end of a casino. I approached the counter to place my order and didn't expect it to be much. I ordered the Rocket Single, tots, and a large sweet tea. Sticker shock set in when I was told it was nearly $30. But after not eating and being hungry, I wasn't in a place to haggle. Having been to several other of these locations, the ambiance and atmosphere was not up to their standard. At other locations it is usually table service and they would give you a plate with a design on it in ketchup. Not here, you basically find yourself a seat and wait for your order to be ready. I will say even though the portions where smaller than I expected it definitely hit the spot. The burger was prepared to order and tasted fresh. The tots, miniscule at best, were an appropriate side. Just wish there were more of them, especially when I ordered them elsewhere I got more than a little moat of them. Once you finish you take you tray to the trash and leave. There really isn't much to this place. But it does have a nice view outside. You can people watch while you eat and spy the monorail as it passes by. read more

Stayed at Horseshoe LAs Vegas and wanted something tasty to eat one night, so we walked downstairs to the food court and decided to try Johnny Rockets. The diner atmosphere is a vibe. They had us order, sit down at the counter, and wait for our food to be freshly made before our eyes. The burger was fresh, delicious, well seasoned and to die for. Solid cheeseburger with big taste and great appearance. The strawberry milkshake was picture perfect, and tasted just as sweet. Well balanced and very creamy. After a horrible experience at Jack Binions Steakhouse, our family had to eat quickly. We came here, and what a wonderful experience that was the exact opposite of what we just encountered! The Johnny Rockets staff were All Stars! They were courteous, gracious, friendly, respectful, and is the best customer service I've ever received. They made my whole family feel right at home! Of course we've had their food before so we know burgers don't compare to steak, but the level of professionalism by far makes up for it. For a burger joint, this place really rocks! Located in the famous casino "Bally's", "Johnny Rocket's" is one of the first things you'll see as you enter. It was around 7pm when we arrived, semi busy but not very crowded. The place was surprisingly clean. The service was good, the employees smiled more than usual. We ordered 2 burgers with tater tots and fries on the side. The burgers were very juicy and delicious. The portion size of the tater tots was huge! You can never have to many tater tots! The fries were crispy and hot. Everything was made to order. After I ordered, I noticed "buy one get one free" coupon on the tray. I wished I knew before I ordered. This is not your typical Johnny Rockets. The menu is simplified down to just their burgers (and a chicken sandwich) and fries, but unlike a "normal" JR, this location also offers all day breakfast sandwiches (and accompanying tots)! While you can always get take out at JR, this location is clearly designed/better equipped to accommodate quick service ordering and expediting; if you're not wanting full, sit down service, there is a separate register and menu board. This location is inside the Bally's food court. It can be easily accessed from the street on Flamingo near Linq Lane. From inside Bally's- follow the food court signs and take the escalator down from the casino floor, near Buca di Beppo. Food is good and true to the brand's identity. I am a lifelong fan so I was a little leery based on the restaurant and menu appearance, but it is exactly what I expect when I eat there. The real motivation for this review is to highlight the enthusiastic, one of a kind service you will receive from Thomas. He's mentioned by name in so many reviews for a reason! He is so warm and personable, making every guest feel welcomed and appreciated. His positive attitude makes dining here a memorable experience and I will gladly return to this location to enjoy his fun and dynamic service. I asked a staff member why do they use buns instead of sliced bread and was told they are privately owned and that's how they make their grilled cheese sandwiches. She was quite rude and curt. I will never understand why people visit Vegas and eat at chain restaurants. But I guess if you gamble all of your money away, this food court is probably your best option for feeding yourself. BF has a soft spot for this chain, which is why we ended up here. All the burgers are consistently good, I usually opt for the Original (cheese is extra) or the Route 66 (mushroom Swiss).
