Ambiance - The Old Water Office is beautifully decorated with a nice interior and a pretty outdoor area too. We sat outdoors and thankfully the weather was kind to us too. This place can accommodate large groups, parties, or just a date night for two. Service - The service was great! Friendly staff and they kept on top of everything. No complaints here. Food - The food was great. I got the surf and turf paella which was very good. For some reason mine did not have mussels like the menu stated, unsure if that was an oversight or maybe just a slight modification from the chef. Everyone else seemed to really like their food too. Short ribs got high praise along with the pork milanese. Their pasta is made in-house and looked wonderful too. All things considered, I'd give this meal a solid 4.5 stars which rounds up with the ambiance and service being great. I'd definitely recommend checking it out.

The drinks were perfect. We started with the focaccia, small beet & burrata salad and wedge salad. My husband had the chicken Parmesan and I had the spinach scarpinocc(ravioli). Our meals were very good. All pasta is made in house. We shared the bread pudding for dessert. I also had the cappuccino martini. Ambiance and service was on point. We will definitely return.

Javi's looks like a cool, old Mexican restaurant but once you step inside you'll find yourself in the middle of a Las Vegas style sports bar. Loud music and gigantic screens with various sports and a restaurant that wraps around the bar. There's booths along the walls but the rest is tall boy bar seating. Fortunately the menu is large and the food is good, though our chips were stale. The service is good too. No, actually the service was great. We loved the food too. Classic Mexican American food just the way we like it.

That was disappointing, the bar is backed with about 6 big screens, and there are at least another 6 behind us, but the beer from the bar (which dominates the entire far wall of the restaurant) was cold, and our waitress served it up quickly. They bring chips and salsa AND bean dip, which is greatly appreciated. My wife's chili verde was delicious, with big chunks of pork, and a fabulous salsa verde sauce. My carne asada was okay, tasty, but a little lacking on the carne to be honest, but good rice and beans. I wanted this to be one of those great finds, but the obnoxiously blasting music and ubiquitous big screens knock it down a bit.

Hour of arrival was around 5pm. We were greeted by Natalie and welcome in. We sat at the bar. Shortly after we were greeted by Caroline. We spoke about what brought us here. I explained to her i saw thier Yelp page and a pictures of a pizza caught my eye. She explains in detail of what she is doing with this style of pizza and the ingredients she uses. We were sold. We ordered 3 new haven style pizza or apizza as advertised. We ordered the Mozz , Margherita and one not on the menu Pepperoni hot honey apizza. This is the order she suggested we have them and we complied. I'm no expert of new haven style pizza but I'll watched enough Dave Portnoy to maybe not necessarily be a judge but to recognize what makes a apizza. Let me start by saying these pizzas were delicious. As for the characteristics of a new haven there were some. I'll let you be the judge by the picture or your own experience dinning here. We tried all 3 as they were coming out the oven and also tried them with Caroline customizations. In short they elevated the apizza. She also mentioned she puts some parmigiano reggiano on her pizza and has a big wheel of it in the back which I didn't get the chance to see and take a picture. None the less another thing to like about her pizza.. Natalie crafted some fine spirits for us to accompany our pizzas although I wish they were a bit more unbalanced in a good way but then again the are mixed drink. The ambiance was great with Contemporary jazz playing. I like jazz so it was delightful. If you are at the bar you may need to talk a little louder to your friend. 3 pizzas 5 mixed drinks plus tip $190. I will certainly be back with my wife I think she will like the Alfredo pasta. Caroline signature dish. Heavy cream she says.

Their food menu is small but still has enough to choose from to snack on. The bartenders are knowledgeable about the drinks they serve and willing to help you pick the best drink for your taste. Anyway, I met up with some friends here last weekend and we had a reservation at Alter Ego. I guess it's technically 2 places with Still OG. I have to say, I have really fond memories of Original Gravity from back in the day (ah, the days of my youth...) so it's nice that it's still sort of around though.. technically completely different since there's no more craft beer or duck fat fries lol. We hung out at our table for the whole night, like 4 hours. We all ordered cocktails off the menu and later on ordered some stuff off the menu based on the bartender's suggestion. I first ordered a Calabrian Spritz from the menu which hit the spot for me. Personally, I am not a hard alcohol fan but I enjoy wine and fun lil cocktails that are slightly sweet/not super strong lol. So this drink was nice because it wasn't too sweet and had a lot of volume (I like just sipping on stuff in general and it sucks when you order a cocktail that's like 3 sips of liquid and the rest is ice). The next cocktail I ordered was off the menu and called Like This or That (I think). I think it was some sort of passionfruit + vodka mix and very delicious! We also ordered the cold soba noodles and fries. Fries were crinkle cut and nicely crispy, no complaints. Soba noodles were also good, though some component of it was really spicy, I think the cucumbers. Overall I had a good time here and look forward to coming back, though given how little I go out, who knows when that will be haha.
