Never in my life did I think I could find a GOOD pizza place like my favorite one back home. I did tons of research on 'NYC pizza' in North Carolina and found Johnny's pizza along with others. I chose Johnny's pizza for one huge reason, they don't waste food! Food is hard to come by and most restaurants throw food out at the end of the day if it hasn't been served. But, not Johnny's! Another reason why I chose Johnny's was because the pizza looked just like my favorite place back home and the reviews were outstanding! My first order there was the bbq boneless wings and a large half pep half cheese pizza. My husband and I looked at each other when the food was served to our table. The large pizza could easily feed 4 people alone, and the wings were so amazing! I actually don't care for many bbq sauces, but of course Johnny's had an amazing bbq sauce. Overall, my experiences have never been bad. I usually visit at least once a month due to distance. If it were closer, I'd be living of Johnny's pizza. several months ago I ordered a calzone late on "I think a Friday night". I am sure they were very busy, anyway I was not happy with the food and I posted a negative review here. I really hated to do it but I had ordered from Johnnys before and it was always excellent. Anyway, I immediately got a message from Johnny with an apology and an offer to replace my meal anytime. I dont order out a lot so it took me a month or more to order again. He even sent me a second message a few weeks later, just to remind me that he wanted to make it up to me. I eventually reordered my Cheese & ham calzone & my salad, just like the first time. It was Amazing ! The dough was buttery, light, & delicious. The cheese and ham filling was OOZING and delicious. The house salads are always great anyway. I even got a piece of delicious cheesecake. He charged me nothing for my replacement meal. Johnny's is great. We went to Johnny's for pizza yesterday and can't say enough about the experience. The girl and guy behind the counter were friendly, welcoming for my family. We placed our order and the food was delivered piping hot to our table. We received a large pizza with extra cheese, sausage and meatball plus a side order of garlic knots. It was beyond delicious and very good value for the money. It was more than our family of 4 could eat and we took some home with us. The best part of our experience was having Johnny come to our table and ask us how our experience was. He actually cares and it shows with him wanting to know. Its rare when a store even makes eye contact with you. He brought a $10.00 gift certificate for a future visit. He made our day and its this type of dedication and customer service that we applaud. Johnny's is a great place with that New York style pizza you've been craving!! We go there for simple, margarita, to out of this world monster pizza cravings, meat lovers smothered with veggies. We've had them deliver to Yacht Club in Youngsville before for a great pizza and beer night out or for at home with a good movie on demand. They have a great catering service that's easy to work with, as I've hosted multiple meetings with them for lunch. Huge hit! My favorite thing is that this is a local chain run by the same owner and he truly cares about the community. He wants to stay active and have a care for those in the area. He is an advocate for homeless individuals and makes sure food from the restaurants will not go to waste, but to use. Highly recommend. read more

Not only is this literally one of the best Pizzas I have ever had in my life, their customer service is amazing. I had ordered pizzas through one of the delivery app. Well their driver completely missed parts of my order. The driver said "oh, I'll go back and get it" an hour and forty five minutes later I kept trying to contact the driver but she has gone ghost on me. I called Johnny's to see if she had come back. The manager check, well lo and behold she wasn't there. They sent THEIR own driver with an ENTIRE new order. And one last thing, their calzones are AMAZING!!! We hit the jackpot for pizza in Wake Forest! We were so excited to give Johnny's pizza a shot when they first opened and they did NOT disappoint. Being from NJ, we look for the best of the best and Johnny's gives us a taste of back home. We usually order a "plain pie" (just a cheese pizza) and it's always amazing. My parents actually ordered from NJ on my anniversary and had it delivered to us at our home in Wake Forest, such a welcomed surprise! We decided to stop and try out Johnny's Pizza in Wake Forest today. It did not disappoint! We ordered a medium Buffalo Chicken pizza....Johnny himself upgraded us to a large and didn't charge us for it. We also got an antipasto salad as an appetizer and he split it up into two bowls for us. Atmosphere is awesome and the staff is very attentive! Great service! Won a free pizza so I had to check them out. They didn't just give me one pizza but two. Because they said the first one was a little burnt and they didn't want to throw it away. Asked if I wanted it. My children didn't even notice the difference. The pizza it's self was amazing and hot. So I will definitely be ordering all of my pizza from here. They also deliver as well. We were so pleasantly surprised when we found Johnny's Pizza here in Wake Forest! I know some other reviews said that they have been very busy their first week opening, but it seems like they may have gotten the kinks out. Pizza is my weakness, and Johnny's is some of the best I've ever had. I stop by a couple of times a week for their lunch special of two slices and a drink.
