One of THE WORST dining experiences EVER. I expected better because of high reviews.. maybe I…read morecaught the place on a bad day or maybe the previous reviews don't know good food. Worse than the food was how they don't serve tap water and only bottled water. Don't know how much since I declined and got my water bottle from my car. The waitress was nice enough though clearly very inexperienced. Asked for recommendations and what's most popular and ordered boneless chicken wings and a pizza. The boneless chicken wings were terrible cuts of chicken, way too think of breading and the sauce was way over salted. Even my teenager who overdoes salt thought too salty! Server never asked how the food was and never saw a manager/owner checking in. Pizza came late and was super soggy. Not terrible but for 1 pizza and crappy chicken pieces to cost nearly $50. And to wait so long for server to finally pick up my card to where my teen leaves to wait in the car, my toddler can't wait in high chair anymore and I'm approaching bar register but finding no one and then standing at the hostess stand waiting bouncing my toddler on my hip and then deciding to take him to the car to get in car seat.. part of me really felt it appropriate to just leave. But I went back in finally to get the food paid for and she tells me there's a convenience fee charge for cards with charges under $50. Even though it was $47.change! At that point I was so disappointed in our overall experience. Even when we first walked in there was no one to greet us for a while and finally a guy who I assume is manager or owner comes out.. basically it felt very understaffed and undertrained. When I told the waitress everything was really terrible she didn't care to do anything about it. Super disappointed. What a waste of time, money and calories.

I had high hopes for this place given the mostly positive reviews on Yelp. Unfortunately, my family…read moreand I were sorely disappointed. We came here on a Wednesday evening at 6pm and there were fewer than 10 people seated (not including a half a dozen or so at the bar). We had two young kids with us so we ordered quickly in hopes we could get the kids settled, fed and back in the car before they started acting like kids. We ordered chicken fingers and fries for the kids, wings and French onion soup for ourselves followed by a cheesesteak and a cheeseburger. We did not see a single piece of food until 7pm. Literally - one hour from when we ordered until even the kids food showed up. We asked the waitress to check on everything about 45 minutes into the evening and could hear the chef say, "you tell them it'll be out when it's ready". Two stars rather than one because when the food did finally show up it was mostly good. The wings were great, the cheesesteak was great - the burger was tragic, borderline inedible. It tasted like it had been grilled directly on charcoal that was doused in lighter fluid. I'd have sent it back if I wasn't 100% sure we'd end up waiting another hour for a replacement. I'm fairly certain this place won't care about this review - but I hope if you're reading this you'll be dissuaded from wasting your time, money and energy and look to any of a number of other amazing restaurants in the area that serve great food and provide amazing service.

Fantastic stuff…read more Food- super simple and creative, seasonal and delicious. Standouts- Sausage with squash and mustard, meat pie - sooo good. Service- excellent and accommodating. Ambiance- a little dark inside, which is Mordy and fine, lights in the open kitchen a little too bright (of course they need to see, but might suggest a more natural light, rather than the white light). Super spot, big fans.

This time the meal opened with a lambs head stew, whose rich flavor was tempered by the citrus undertones. First around it was an assortment of housemaid dips, including a garlic cream spinach, which somehow was both Rich and Light.a silken hummus and a zesty feta with green olives. The pita was warm and abundant. The main course was a beautifully braised beef shank served along with its own marrow bone which could have easily taken the spotlight. . An olive oil rose water cake for dessert provided complete closure. The entire vibe of this place is incredibly warm and welcoming with an energy provided by the staff that makes you feel as if you are a guest in their kitchen. I would highly recommend making this place a priority on your list.

Located in the Main Street/Partition Street corridor, there is a cool downtown vibe. Street parking and a Public Lot nearby make for easy access. I got the Egs Benny and it was served with amazing potatoes and a light and tasty salad. Eggs were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. Waitress was attentive and accommodating. I also ordered a Bloody Mary and a local craft beer because I could. The Bloody was decent, not mind blowing but still tasty. Oh and I ordered a dozen oysters while I was at it. They were of the small variety but tender, clean and amazing. Prices were reasonable to the area. Definitely will be back. No photos this time, sorry.

Walking in we were seated promptly though we immediately noticed that the interior was extremely dark. Not a big deal but worth flagging for older folks who might have a hard time reading. Our server was friendly and relatively attentive and walked us through the menu. We started off with some classics including their bread and butter (which was tasty and delicious) and ordered their P.E.I Mussels ($19) along with their Fried Brussels Sprouts ($15) to share. The portions were quite large for everything (great if you're in a larger party) but we immediately noticed that the mussels they served seemed a bit off. Many of them were not opened all the way (a sign that they might not be the freshest or recently passed) and had a bit of a fishy taste to them. We ended up not finishing them and flagged them to our waiter. The other items, including the 14oz Ribeye ($43) and baby back ribs ($28) were better, though a bit one-note. The bay back ribs in particular were extremely saucy and the corn bread was dry and a bit tough to eat. I had to use a knife to split it apart as it kept crumbling every time I used a fork. Regardless, it seems like a popular spot for a reason and perhaps we just went during more of an off-night. I'd still recommend checking it out but avoiding the mussels if you go.

When we arrived the service was great but a group of 18 came in and we never saw the server at our table until we got the bill. When we went to the counter to pay she couldn't get to us then either. A former employee with a good relationship cashed is out (only in a small town). It wasn't bad and I would go back.
