I went in to purchase tortoise food and the person helping me (presumably the owner) was friendly and carried out the 40lb bag to my car. heard about this place through social media. lots of folks were giving praise. had to pop in today to see what all the fuss was about! Three men inside including the owner. All extremely friendly and helpful. immediately i was greeted and asked what i could be helped with and Mr johnson asked what he could run in back and grab for me. Told him as of now i didnt need anything but wanted to compare prices on the dog feed i use as i heard this was THE place to get a great fair deal and service. he quoted me a number that is about $6 LESS than what we currently pay at the pet store! I asked if they had a specialty treat for my dogs and he hadnt heard of it but was interested to for me to describe it for him. Said he would do some research and see if he couldn't acquire a few for us!! we all stood around laughing and talking. showing pictures of each others pets and telling stories on them! these people GENUINELY CARE! i kid you not when i say i felt like family! it was as if we all knew each other for a long time! They sell pet feed. livestock & chicken feed. all the necessities. some treats also double as a gardening store! Mr. Johnson told me he really loves and prefers Organic products but that they do carry a variety of regular! they have set hours but i was informed that ANYTIME you need them to be open just give a call a head of time and he can stay late or open early (even if its a quick grab at 3am for those early farmers!) THAT IS SERVICE! from the moment i walked in i could tell it was a friendly family place, eager to go above and beyond to GET YOUR BUSINESS! service is key for me and we are ONLY going to buy our dog food from here for now on. called my husband about the price and he about died! with three large rescues we can use all the help to our budget we can get! Def check this place out! They also directly support the local schools FFA and Agriculture programs! read more

I was looking for a premium dog food but didn't know exactly what I wanted or my dogs needed. The staff was extremely helpful and explained the difference in each of the dog foods. I Originally selected the Johnson Feed Store brand chicken flavor. I was given a generous sample and Fed it to my dogs. They weren't especially thrilled with it so I took the big bag back and switched it out for the salmon flavor. They love it and are doing well on it. Johnson feed store will be my new go to for dog food. read more
