So many of the cutest kitties! Staff were nice and gave a quick tour of the different rooms before letting us walk around and play with the cats. We saw so many different types and personalities. It was so nice just playing with the cats that we extended our time. My boyfriend even ended up adopting one! It was so funny to see this cat stare at the sink water most of the time we were there and we figured that she would be a great low maintenance and low energy cat, perfect for him. This is such a great way to adopt because you can get to know the cats and see who clicks with you. This cat ended being as relaxed as we expected and is fitting in perfectly! Interview process was quick and easy, they give you a free tote with vet info, and the staff was so knowledgeable about our cat. Only complaint if any is that we didn't expect such high adoption fees, but it was worth it. They also notified my boyfriend that she is FIV positive and were so informative about it when educating him on it and its myths Don't let FIV status discourage you from adopting a kitty! it really doesn't make much of a difference because they're basically like normal cats. All you really have to do is be careful about them getting hurt too badly. His cat is indoors to lower any risks and she has adjusted to apartment life so well, we are so happy we visited! read more

Went here for the first time and the experience was just ok. They definitely need to work on their front desk customer service experience. We were lamely greeted by this lady at the front desk who was more busy on her phone. She was not friendly. She rushed us through the check-in process and never bothered to ask if I need my receipt or not. Later, I also found out about their monthly and yearly subscriptions which I was not told about. I may have signed up if front desk told me about it. The volunteer/staff who took us inside and gave a tour was really nice, informative, and friendly. They had about 8 cats when we went. Some of them were confined in a different small rooms because of different issues. Most of them were friendly. They do have kittens but they were in a separate room and you are not allowed to see or interact with them. Also, on their website it does say that you can pick up cats under supervision but we were told that this is not allowed either. I am not sure why the website stated otherwise. Place is good if you are into cats. There is nothing close by like this for cat lovers that I am aware of. read more

The "charming" cat cafe is not so charming at all. If I could give zero stars I would. I (22 years old female) came in with my sister (9 years old) just to look at kitties. She fell in love with a kitty but the adoption time ended so I came back the next day with my mom (43 years old does not speak English very well). I filled out a form under my name with all my moms information (as she can't speak English very well. They denied my application since I just moved to Texas from California after graduating with a biology degree from UCI and do not have a job yet in Texas (I have an interview at a doctors office the day after). I completely understand however my mom is the one responsible for this kitty. She is stable financially and stable in all other aspects however they still denied the application insinuating that we are incapable of caring for the cat (I personally have a cat that I spoil to no ends). The founder came out speaking to us very rudely and saying that they can take us to court and whatnot. I do not mind as I did not lie in the application or in anything else about our situation. This makes me feel as though they are racist and judgmental. We were watched by the founder as we left as though we were going to take the kitty with us . Furthermore, it's not like this cat cafe is the best one out there. I've been to multiple cat cafes and none have been this stinky and you can smell it from outside. There were no litter boxes in sight (it would be like needing to pee but all the restroom doors are locked) and only one water fountain. Also, there were kitties that smell like actual throw up. If you are visiting to play with kitties then it is a great experience! The staff is super friendly and kitties are so cute but the founder was not. This was just my experience and take it with a grain of salt as everyone's experience is different. (2+ weeks?) Went to go visit with the cat, found they have a LONG app and have to get "corporate" approval for everything too! (HUH!?!?) And fee is $195/175 (young/adult). Waited several days, no contact or updates from them. Now see that the cat is not available anymore! (adopted) WHAT!?!? I can wholeheartedly recommend this little Cat Cafe tucked away inside of the mall. The cats are friendly and healthy, the rooms provide plenty of stimulation and hiding spots for them, and there are clear sanitation guidelines. The staff was really pleasant and eager to answer questions. My daughter and I were introduced to the concept of a Cat Cafe in Thailand. The Charming Cat Cafe is the altruistic and local version of what we visited overseas. It takes rescue cats out of the shelters and allows them a safe place to strut their 'real personality' for 'hoomans' to witness, fall in love with them and then (hopefully ) adopt them. For those of us (me) who have met their max of 'fur-babies,' you can spend an hour or so getting your kitty-fix AND help a great cause. Tucked inside the Music Mall is a great place to spend a lunch on a mommy daughter date with a daughter who is super compassionate about cats! The cats are very sweet and also very playful. When to sign up for a timeslot to socialize with the cats you get discount coupons at the local mall eateries. We grabbed pizza and coffee (for me) and headed back to enjoy the cat company. I've had 3 felv positive cats in my life and knowing how hard it is for people to adopt them or even go and play with them just breaks my heart. Asked us to handwash our hands before and after. Introduced us to the resident cats and told us a bit of history about them and current projects. I really enjoyed my time there and wanted to stay longer but my friend and I had other responsibilities to attend to. It was fun and loved the atmosphere. It was not crowded with people so that made it possible to have great quality time with the cats. Also, do not expect coffee. When I first walked in I paid for the whole hour but didn't even stay for half an hour because I felt like I was just wasting my time by that point. This is the third cat cafe I've ever been to and this place was probably my favorite! Right away, I love how they decorated a mall space and made it cute and whimsical. There were also more cats here than the other cafes I've been to with a variety of ages, colors and personalities. Admission is totally reasonable and you'll leave needing to take a cat home, even if you have 3 like me! ( I didn't take one home :( ). The place is super clean seeing as how they have a grip of cats. There are tons of toys and trees for the cats to play with and climb on. The employees really seem to care for the cats as well. Each room has it's own theme and music and you can always find a cat that wants to sit in your lap or eat your hair. There are also some great spots in here to catch some photos. They also sell kitty themed merch! Everyone that comes in has to put their information into the system so it seems really safe for the kitties and the environment. Stopped in to play with cats and left with a kitten haha. Loved the set up paid $7.50 for 30 minutes of playtime. Fell in love with Gilly. Who we changed her name to Mazy. We were nervous how our current cat would do with a new cat. But it's been going well. Mazy played with bigger and older cats at the cafe so she knows how to play. Had some issues registering her microchip it wanted me to put in a credit card just to register her chip and get all these added things that we didn't need. So we registered through 24 pet watch. So that was my only complaint I guess besides paying the $10 for a card board carrier to bring her home. Which I can't be mad about I should have known we'd want to come home with a cat. Was disappointed that after we paid to learn they aren't doing free first exams due to covid. I understand why they can't offer it. But I think the adoption fee should be lowered slightly since that was a perk to adopt with them. I'd definitely adopt with them again regardless. Staff was friendly and caring. The place is pretty big and has a ton of toys, cozy spots and nooks for the cats to enjoy. The process of signing in was easy and affordable. We went inside and had a great time seeing all the cats and how happy they were in a really cute and clean environment. We were taken on a tour of the facility and had fun playing with all the kitties. I ended up adopting the sweetest most laid back cat. The adoption process was thorough and efficient. They asked some really good questions and got to know me and my lifestyle. Which is good because it means their cats go to some great homes. A lot of animal rescue places can be really capricious about who they choose or not choose to adopt their animals out to. Based on recent experiences of a friend that tried to adopt a kitty from this place recently, I have to warn folks that unfortunately, this is one of those places. They basically began the process, got lackluster responses from the cafe adoption staff, then several weeks later were turned down on the cat they had in mind after the staff changed their minds and decided not to adopt the cat out, to anyone...and for not very convincing reasons. And the staff didnt seem very concerned about the potential adoptees, their feelings about the disappointing process, offer up other cats for adoption, etc. So...some folks may end up having a good experience, but honestly, you would be better off going to a city pound or the SPCA, where the staff is more consistent, professional, and are really interested in adopting out animals...to everyone. read more
