I specifically came for some zinnia flower seeds, and they had a great selection of Renee's Garden seeds. I picked up 5 packets and then headed out into the garden section to see what else might pique my interest. I saw some colorful plastic and durable pots in various sizes. I couldn't figure out the gallon sizes of the pots even when looking at the price labels. Instead of gallon sizes, it gave inch measurements. Oh well, I guess I'll have to eyeball it. At the register I reminded the cashier about my senior discount, and he asked for my phone number. None of the numbers worked (even though they have in the past), so we resorted to using my husband's number. The store was festively decorated for Christmas, and I might come back for some cute lawn decorations, when they are discounted after the holidays! LOL Can't wait to sow my zinnia seeds for next year's summer blooms!

They've really honored the tradition of the former Orchard Supply Hardware. I try to make this my first stop when looking for hardware items and avoid the big box stores. (At least as my first stop, more on that..) The challenge I have is that about a third of the time, I won't find what I'm looking for here and have to look elsewhere anyway. I love, though, how there are knowledgeable people working here who are genuinely interested in and available to help me. Their stores are a nice, manageable size (I don't feel like I need a roadmap to get around them, like the big box guys.) Plus there are often liquidation deals and sales that make things enticing. If you support local retail, as I do, I recommend popping into your local Outdoor Supply Hardware next time you need a hardware item!

The people seem so nice here and especially a lady called Maria. She helped us load some giant bags of soil and pushed one of the carts to a very nice cashier. This Home Depot is probably the worst-organized store I've ever been to. The merchandise is…read morearranged in a completely chaotic way--you have to go to several different areas just to find plumbing or electrical supplies, and everything is disorganized. But the most ridiculous part is their lumber section. I don't think any other store that sells lumber would be stupid enough to put the lumber all the way in the very back of the store, as far away from the entrance as possible. My God, buying lumber here is an absolute disaster. You have to push a bunch of long pieces of wood through the store, trying your best to avoid people and shelves, while constantly making turns just to get to the checkout and exit. It's basically an extreme test of your physical stamina and maneuvering skills. And then there are some employees who seem to have completely unpredictable mood swings. Maybe one second they're smiling and talking to you, and the next second they suddenly have a nasty attitude, become extremely impatient, or start speaking loudly at you--almost yelling. I remember one particular employee was a thin woman wearing a knit hat. It completely confused me. I hadn't done anything to her. One second she was smiling and talking to me, and the next she suddenly started yelling. I really don't understand it. I feel like if someone is genuinely having that kind of problem, they should see a doctor. At the very least, it scared me and made me feel extremely uncomfortable.

Very well polished uniform was neat. Her store was very organized and clean, and she was very approachable and professional. I can't say enough of how great she was. So, I was extremely disappointed today when I placed a mixed order--half pickup, half delivery--and the app failed. When I arrived to pick it up, the check-in button didn't work, so I had to call Customer Service to assist notify the staff. (Also letting them know about the bug on the mobile app) Once the staff member finally brought out my order, she treated me with complete dismissiveness; letting me know that she didn't receive any notifications. When I explained the app glitch--as if my half hour waiting in the car was some cosmic insult. Customer Service, thankfully, was fantastic--kind and responsive--so it's a shame the store experience was so dismal. I hope you fix this before your reputation--like your app--completely crashes. Why 2 stars instead of 1? Well, the customer service associate was exceptionally attentive, professional, and most importantly she did her job time 10. There's room for improvement Home Improvement.
