It was our 1st time at the store and NO one approached us despite multiple people at their desk with no customers. In fact- I had to walk over to ask a rep for assistance (is no one here motivated to sell units/increase their #'s??)! I will keep his name anonymous for the review, but mgmt certainly knows who our rep was. We made the purchase back on 5/17/26 (paid in full) and were told we would be contacted during the week to schedule the delivery. I waited 8 business days 5/28/26 to be contacted which no one did, so I decided to reach out to the sales rep and left a voicemail since he did not answer. I also sent an email just to have the communication documented. At NO point during the sales transaction were we informed that the fridge was NOT in stock or on backorder. 5/29/26 Rep sends me a text that the fridge in en route to the warehouse for 6/10/26 arrival. Of course I hear nothing on 6/10/26 so I reach out to check on the status only to be informed it's still on backorder until 6/29/26! They did offer a $200 credit due to the delay which we appreciated- but then the recurring theme of NO proactive contact to customers as today is 6/30/26, and again I had to reach out for status of our fridge. This time the rep said, "Unfortunately, the Kitchen Aid is not coming in. We can cancel and refund you if you like.". And that is exactly what we decided to do as we have zero intention to purchase from Homewise Appliance nor could we recommend in good faith that you will receive good service based on the terrible experience/ordeal we had to go through. We just wanted a good working fridge by the end of May when big box stores like Lowes had the same exact model in stock with next day delivery! 44 days after our initial purchase and we just placed our order with Costco.com which we probably should have done in the first place. The phone gets transferred to the store where I purchased the stove, and they couldn't figure out where it was but told me it was a labeling error in the system. We wait a whole month to find out after thanksgiving that the stove was shipped to a different warehouse and that they can no longer find it. 2 Weeks into December, they were able to locate the stove and find that it was shipped for repair. It is now January, our home is almost done renovating, and we still have no MF clue where this stove is. We issued a refund today, because we can no longer wait for it to come back to the warehouse. Dont get me wrong here. There are great products here, but make MF damn sure that you are there for delivery, otherwise they will take your stove back and sale it to somebody else while telling you its lost somewhere in the warehouse or repair. TLDR: Only one chance for your shipping date, otherwise they will flip the item back for sales.

Based on this, I would have actually still come back even if they didn't offer the best price. I appreciate that they are not compensated based on commission so you can truly feel the team spirit on the floor. I got my dishwasher delivered and installed in about a week. The installer definitely did his job but he was certainly in a rush to get in and out ASAP. Not the same kind of service as the sales reps but no real complaints from me.

I had previously been told that this store had started carrying parts in the past few months, but they also had no stock of the charger at all. Few days ago when I originally stopped by to buy an attachment head, Elannah was nice enough to tell me that they can waive shipping fees for any orders placed from their online store if they didn't already have it in stock. I figured I'd ask again about the charger, and although she originally told me the same that neither they nor the online store had it in stock, after hearing how I had been searching for almost a year, she went to the back and found me a spare working Gen5 charger that she didn't charge me for. Now that's really going above and beyond for customer service, thank you Elannah!
