I have been a customer of Marcone's for 15 years plus . In the last 2 months they have blocked my account 2 times because "we don't order enough parts from them". I was told it cost them to much money to process the parts on warranty claims , so they dont make enough money off my account , I was told they are actually losing money on my account . I stopped using them because shipping cost are to high . If i order 3 parts for a customer , all 3 parts are shipped seperat, causing 3 shipping charges. I am also in the business of making money and Marcone is no longer reliable for my productivity or cost effect for my customers. read more

My family's business has been using Marcone for 30 years.The last 7 years their service has went down hill.Shipping nightmares and no accountability. So bad that when you ask for a name you get no response.Personal account manager at West coast customer service.If we treated our customers like that we would be out of business.It seems to be acceptable these days. Marcone is not a good company to work with when your an appliance tech, they make you pay for shipping back the core to them when other companies will send you a pre paid return label. I returned an item to them that was unopened and they refuse to refund me my money. read more

Was looking for a gas regulator, online parts store sells it from $17.99 to $22.99 plus $5 shipping. Didn't want to wait for the part to come in, so called Marcone to see if they have it in stock. They quoted me $38.99. Didn't like their price, got the exactly same part from another local store for $26. read more

Took order (& charged card immediately) despite promising to charge only upon shipment. Promised 4 weeks to ship,...never ever shipped. Lied through their teeth upon multiple call backs (@ 2 & 3 mo) when I demanded to know when my part would arrive, kept saying it was backordered. When I threatened to report for fraud if I didnt get the part or my money back they hung up. REFUSED to refund me for 5 MONTHS even though they acknowledged THEY canceled my order months before. Finally cut me a check when I contacted my state AG. They sat on several hundreds of dollars of my money and promised...for months...that they were going to send the part soon...it was 'just backordered from the factory'. Liars. Using Google cache I was able to see (after the fact) that they were in-fact selling the part to new suckers...just not sending me the part I paid for 6 months earlier. Stay away! read more

If you want quick friendly service come here. I went to Sears and waited twenty minutes just to find out the they didn't even carry the part I needed. I come here and I was in and out in less than 5min. I didn't catch the gentlemans name but he knows his parts and has no problem answering any additional questions you have. I needed some parts for my SpeedQueen front load washer. Airport Home Appliance in Hayward which sold me the washer recommended that I call Marcone. Jeff picked up the phone when I called and found the parts I needed, got them shipped in 1 day to the San Jose Marcone store from their Fresno warehouse, and I picked the parts up the next day and installed them. During the pick up, he explained what each part does and was very pleasant and friendly. I was in need of a starter relay and overload for my whirlpool refrigerator, so I called into the national Marcone phone # trying to find a location with the parts in stock. The national # said the San Jose location had the part in stock. Of course, I drive all the way from Belmont to find out these guys don't have it in stock. Luckily I found another store that had everything I need in stock. In my opinion, Marcone's inventory system stinks! After this experience I would never do business with a company that can't get their inventory right. read more

This place is right next to my daughters' gymnastics, so it is conveniently located for me and came instantly to mind when we needed a pump for our poor, abused washing machine. They had one in stock. Clean, organized building. Polite, no-nonsense, efficient staff. So I need new bins for the door of my fridge, and I'm happy to support local business. I found the part needed on Whirlpool's site and called to see if they have it in stock. They have some, but they want $55 for a part that even the Whirlpool site sells for $27! I can get it for $27 on amazon with free shipping. So I got to thinking.... Did I pay too much for my washer pump?! I paid $145, and Whirlpool has it for $116. So I paid an extra $29 for being able to fix the washer same-day rather than wait. So they are competent and polite, and have the parts in stock, but charge entirely too much. read more

Superpages and the Yelp photo of your front door states that you are open on Saturday from 8-12. Called and called the Race St. location and no answer - not even a recording to confirm your business hours and allow me to leave a message. Called your 800 number. I was told that there's a 20 minute wait and left my number. Received a call some time later but you let the phone ring 1.5 times and then hung up. Called you back immediately but the wait was now 30 minutes. Left my number again but who knows. I can do better than this. Amazon has the part and I can get it in a day or two. Another location in East SJ also carries it -- and they picked up the phone right away. read more

I thought i would try and fix our maytag dryer before my husband bought another. Sears recommended marcone appliance parts so i headed over. The parts i thought i needed (drum rollers) were in stock and i was in and out quickly. Replaced those but the squeeling was still there so returned to marcones and got an idler pulley which was in stock. The guys there were very friendly and very helpful. I was going to buy a new belt also (took old one with me) but they said the one i had was fine and didnt need to replace it (tells me they are honest) so replaced this part and bingo! My dryer is like new. Will definately use this store as my appliance goto place and will highly recommend to others . Huge thank you to all the staff, especially Jeff for your help and expertise. I needed a dishwasher part and had *horrible* service from a different business (APED on Stevens Creek). So I came here instead. They had the part in stock, for less than half of what APED quoted ($9 vs $25), and Dan was very nice and helpful. I was very happy and ended up buying a couple of filters for my fridge in addition to my dishwasher part, even though I could have bought them for a few bucks cheaper online. Just as an aside, I recommend calling ahead with your model number and serial number to check if they have your item in stock before you head over. I'll definitely be back if I need parts in the future! read more
