As others have noted, Pacific Sales is now a subsidiary of Best Buy. We had a great experience with them when we remodeled our kitchen. The representative we worked with was quite helpful in understanding different ways we could achieve our goals while saving money. He had some especially great suggestions about mixing brands of appliances to get the best outcome. They took time with us and answered all of our questions, we felt the prices were fair, and communication about our order was the usual best-buy email process which worked just fine. They were also great about communicating delivery times. I'd gladly work with them next time, too! read more

Went here to buy a new washer. They have some top of the line appliance here including Viking kitchen appliance. I asked for help from the staff there and Lee help me pick a washer though I have pretty much in mind what I want. Lee is friendly and knowledgeable, didn't try to up sell me anything and patiently get through my questions about the washer. Overall it's a good experience and I would definitely recommend going to store like Best Buy to see the big appliance yourself. I will consider this Pacific Sales Best Buy for my next appliance need. read more

Warning: Long post This was from May 2016 but never wrote about it, since I didn't want to think about Pacific Sales ever again. But I think I should let other prospective buyers know about this and make a informed decision. I ordered a washer and dryer. The buying process was smooth. The nightmare started after.. 1. It was delayed by at least 10 days if I am not wrong. And this was just the beginning. So beware, you can count on Spirit Airlines on timeliness more than these guys 2. I bought a brand new unused pedestal from craigslist for the washer and dryer separately. The installers refused to touch the pedestal since it was not purchased from their store citing liability. My wife even offered to give them a written statement saying that Best Buy is not liable for it, but they did not budge. I do not completely blame them for this. So beware, these guys will install only on a pedestal that is purchased from them 3. They installed the washer and dryer in such a way that the the doors open into each other. When I spoke to them they said they can come back and switch the position but I will have to pay for it. Why should I pay for their mistake? They later waved it off. The next day they came back saying that they need a cable longer than 6 feet to switch the position. Since they don't have a longer cable so they can't swap the positions. I offered to buy a cable from a 3rd party, but they refused saying that will install only parts from their store. For Christ's sake, this is a company that does appliance installs and they don't have a cable longer 6 feet? And provide ABSOLUTELY no options for situations that need it. So beware, if your washer and dryer are not right next to each other or on top of each other you might have better luck asking your 2 year old for installation 4. I had to call this company over 6 times, on-hold for hours to fix the problems. I could have fixed some myself with some help but I wanted these guys to do it since I paid for it. The salesman had the NERVE to tell me to ask my friends or family for help to swap the washer and dryer. Why did I pay these guys again? They said someone would call me back with a solution, but never did. I was tired of this tardiness and decided to go into the store. The manager was in and LIED saying there is no manager when he himself was talking to me. I made a ruckus in front of another customer so he promised that someone will call me the next day, but never did. So beware, you can trust a politician more than these guys to keep their word 5. My wife declined to sign the forms during delivery since they did not install it on the pedestal. They declined to give their names when she tried talking to customer service. The installers just stood there inside the house making my wife feel uncomfortable by not leaving back with the appliance. The installer basically BULLIED into getting the forms signed. This ALONE warrants a lawsuit against Pacific Sales. Later the salesman uses this form saying that "You signed the form, which means everything went okay". So beware, you mean nothing to them once the form is signed. 6. I wish I could end, but the list just keeps going on. They did provide a $100 credit since they messed up. Even a $10,000 credit does not make up for the mental stress me and my wife have had to go through with Pacific Appliance. I still feel the pain even though it has been a year. So beware, Pacific Sales thinks their $100 could, maybe, even fix global warming I went to BestBuy so that it would be a one-stop shop for ordering and installation. But they completely dropped the ball on this one! read more

My fridge went out and I came in to check out LG and Samsung options. I'm looking at refrigerators that range from $2,200-$3,000 and I was hoping to take advantage of some 4th of July sales. For 35 minutes I walked around looking at refrigerators I liked, but never got a single hello from an employee. I know there was someone purchasing an appliance(two people helping her), but you could have sent someone from the store to check on me. I saw at least 4 people in Best Buy standing with hands on their hips or in their pockets. I now know what I want and I'll buy online from AJ Madison. Missed opportunity for a very easy sale. After having a good experience purchasing my refrigerator, I ended up having the worst experience when it came to delivery and install. The 3rd party service that Pacific Sales Kitchen & Home (Best Buy), Last Mile caused two major problems. One, the install was not done correctly which required a follow up tech repair (2 weeks later!). And two, they put 2 10 inch gouges in my new wood floor because they did not use the proper protective material. They actually used a thin piece of cardboard cut from an appliance box. On top of all this, I can not get a return call when trying to file a claim for the wood floor and the salesman can't help because "it is out of their hands". Very disappointed and will think twice about anymore appliance purchases from Best Buy / Pacific Sales Kitchen and Home. read more

I ordered all new kitchen appliances from Best Buy - PSK&H but I'm solely focusing this review on the refrigerator I ordered. I am giving this review two stars because the delivery crew that finally did show up went above and beyond and exemplified true customer service. Now why I'm only giving two stars...I ordered a refrigerator in February of 2021. When it arrived, it was missing parts and the doors didn't sit flush with each other so I called my store contact, Jose Garcia, and he ordered me a replacement. My new unit was scheduled to be delivered in June. When my order was scheduled, I received a 6-hour window (not very convenient) but a call the night before delivery shortening the window by 2 hours. The day of delivery I received a call that the unit never arrived because it was on back order and I'd need to reschedule (not sure why this wasn't known until the day of delivery?). I am now given a delivery date of 7/22 with a 6-hour window, and I again receive a call the night before confirming delivery. 2 hours into my delivery time the next day, I receive a call saying it's still back ordered and not on the truck (again, how is this not known until well into my delivery window). I am once again given a new delivery date of 8/10. I receive a call and an email the night before confirming my delivery. When 5.5 hours of my delivery window have passed I called Jose to make sure the unit was on the truck and would be arriving that day. He assures me it's out for delivery but the delivery company is delayed on another job due to difficulties removing an appliance. I explained to him it's my son's last day of summer vacation and I do not want to sit home waiting all day, can he please get me a delivery time. He tells me it could be anywhere from 40 min to a couple hours and he didn't seem concerned at all that this was a huge inconvenience. I waited home all day and the refrigerator never arrived, nor did I receive a phone call from the delivery company or Jose. The next day I received an email from Best Buy telling me to schedule a delivery. I called PK&H and asked to speak to a supervisor. I was told one was there and he'd be right with me. The gentleman I spoke with gets back on the phone and says there is no longer a supervisor available but using my caller id he went to Jose Garcia to ask what I may want. He reads me the notes from my conversation with Jose the day before and says Jose never spoke to the delivery company, just left a message (different story than I received from Jose). He tells me I should call a different number to schedule the delivery. At no time during this conversation did Jose get on the phone and help me or apologize for the huge inconvenience. When I was transferred to the department they said I needed to talk with, the woman on the phone said there was nothing she could do, other than schedule a new delivery for me. I asked for a shorter delivery window, as I had already blocked out 3-6 hours time slots waiting for delivery, not to mention the entire rest of the day when Jose assured me the fridge would arrive. The women said she couldn't do anything to help me other than schedule a regular deliver window but she did apologize and said I would be compensated for my trouble and time but no one has contacted me about any compensation. When I first purchased all my appliances, Jose assured me he would be checking on all deliveries and calling me if there were any changes. I ordered 8 appliances and in the beginning, I was happy with the customer service but somewhere along the process Jose completely dropped the ball and I felt like I became a nuisance to him. I have been patient during this process because I understand the delays with Covid but this isn't about delays, it's about communication but mostly customer service. I will never purchase another appliance from this store! read more

Went in for a return/exchange on our Samsung washer/dryer and I'm so happy. We worked with Lee and received the best customer service. So fast and efficient considering we had our 3 kids going bananas. He went above and beyond and exceeded our expectations! He even waited/retrieved an item we wanted but was out in store from the delivery truck! Ask for Lee and you will not be disappointed. I too would give them no stars if I could. I ordered 8000$ Worth of appliances back in Nov 2016 and still today 3/16/17 I have not gotten all of the appliances I ordered. They are quick to take your money but have a huge disconnect on the delivery. Some items come and when you call the delivery people they have no idea what is going on. Sales people blame the new computer system that doesn't correspond to the delivery people. They deliver the wrong type of electrical cords and there is complete confusion with this company. They make arrangements for a delivery date and time but never show up, this has happened 4 times. Stay away from this horrible store. This is one company that should do us a favor and go out of business. I am going to call the manager again today but have no idea when I will receive the rest of my order. read more

It took Best Buy/pacific sales 4 times over the course of a week to deliver my appliances and get it right. Delivery was 2nd floor and they knew that when I bought them. They send a damaged fridge to boot. They promised a $150 visa gift card on the fridge and they said compensation post delivery would be made for the spoiled food and having to eat out. So, they sent a $150 Best Buy gift card for the fridge and after another 5 phone calls to get to talk someone, they say $75 gift card is all they can do. They want me to spend $225 in their store instead of reimbursement for damages. Never again! read more

I went in to the Best Buy / Pacific Sales on Almaden Expressway to have them help us with an exchange of our refrigerator. I had just gotten through dealing with a nightmare customer service experience from the manufacturer not willing to help resolve repairing or replacing our broken fridge. The Best Buy Geek squad team had already done a great job giving us an exchange work order, to come in and pick out a new replacement fridge. My wife and I were not optimistic on how easy this process was going to be when we got there. However, we encountered the BEST sales / service person I've ever encountered at any store. Tom Castrillon was a delight to deal with. He took the time to show us all of the models that met our requirements and was very patient as he looked up ones that were available quickly in the color we wanted. He turned an experience that we were dreading into the best experience I've every had picking out a major appliance. Thank you Tom! You did a great job and it was very much appreciated! Never buy appliances from Best Buy / Pacific Sales. They don't deliver as scheduled and the people who came to deliver are rude. They don't stick to the scheduled delivery schedules. It takes more than 20 minutes to reach the call center and the call center won't have a clue about the order despite getting two advance calls for a delivery that doesn't happen. They promise you earliest delivery than other places and they don't deliver. The delivery guys are from all over Oakland, Almaden and so on. There is no way to reach them back other than call center which takes forever to answer. read more

Purchased a Samsung refrigerator from Pacific Kitchen and Home inside of Best Buy. Xylina was very helpful and helped me and my wife find the ideal fridge for our space. She was not a pushy sales person either, she gave us time to look around and did not pressure us. We wanted to look elsewhere to find better prices and then she told us we had 15 days after purchase to find a better price and she would match it. So we bought it. Well, I went home and started looking for the same fridge online and found a better price. I emailed her the link and she refunded the difference to our credit card. I am writing this review to commend John Regan and his staff for helping with a long drawn out ordeal to get my rebate for the samsung top loading washer that had been recalled. John helped me by writing a letter of disposal to samsung. I mailed his letter plus a few documents and they are working with me now. I have not recieved my rebate check yet but I am a lot closer now then I was before. I do not give 4 stars to best buy or to samsung. I will not buy anymore appliances from a company that did not honor their sale and take care of the rebate directly. best buy gets a one star and samsung gets zero stars. We had a very positive experience doing our kitchen remodel recently, in great part due to the excellent help we received from Tom Castrillon of the Pacific Sales store located inside the Best Buy on Almaden Expressway. We purchased several large appliances for our kitchen, and through the entire process and several visits to the store, we always relied on Tom's experience and expertise, to bounce ideas off him and show us the pros/cons of different models. We liked that Tom was always helpful without being pushy or steering us to a specific brand or type of appliance. It was always our decision, but we always took into account Tom's advice, along with our own research. Tom's manager, John, also helped us at times when Tom was not working. The staff at this store location was always attentive and courteous. Ultimately, we feel very happy with our purchases and gladly recommend Tom and this store to anyone without any reservations. Wish I could give them negative rating. Be extremely careful shopping at this place. I purchased over $25k worth of Viking Applainces. They told me that dealing with the manufacturer warranty was difficult and their extended warranty was easy to work with and coverage was much better. So I purchased extended warranty for my built in Viking refrigerator. I call them today to report a problem with my refrigerator and first they said I didn't have extended warranty and would have to call the manufacturer directly, then I told them I was positive that I purchased extended warranty, so then they put me on hold and when they come back, they tell me that yes, I do have extended warranty through them, but I still have to call the manufacturer warranty. When I asked what kind of extended warranty is this that I still have to go through manufacturer, he tells me that their time is valuable and they can't call the manufacturer and stay on hold for a long time, when they can make a sale to a new customer! He tells me that I can use my own time to stay on hold with the manufacturer warranty. I don't get it. Is this for real? What kind of extended warranty is this? Why do they sell their extended warranty when customers have to call the manufacturers directly? Is this legal? I will never buy from them again. read more

I am writing this review to commend John Regan for his excellent help. We had bought a Bosch Combo microwave/wall oven after looking at several units with John's help. We ended up purchasing it at a Best Buy store in Gilroy since we live there. When they came to install it the installer said I needed a double 240 line which means spending thousands of dollars more so I cancelled the order and went back to John. He helped us find anther unit we liked (not as much as the Bosch). While we were looking at it John got on his computer and looked up the Bosch we returned. He discovered it will work on a singe 240 circuit. He told us we should call the other store and since it's an open box....we might get a discount if they still have it. We called and ended up getting it 30% lower then what we had paid for it a few days before! John got no credit for the help and sale so I wanted to give him a shout out for what he did for us. John had helped us several days for finding the combo wall oven and a refrigerator. We went to several appliance stores and without a doubt, John was the most knowledgable and most helpful. I can say enough about John - he's the guy you want to talk to for an appliance. read more

This is an extension of Best Buy. You can not count on them to deliver you appliance on time or even at all. I ordered a Washing Machine. I was told it would be delivered next week on Thursday. It did not show up nor did I get a phone call. I went to the store and was told it would be Two more weeks; look for it on Monday afternoon. It did not show up on that Monday, even though I got texted and a auto phone call saying it would! Turned out they lost the washing machine somewhere. After two days they could not find it. I cancelled the order and waited 5 days to be credited back on my credit account. This time instead of going to the store I ordered on line. Again it did not show up as scheduled and no one called to say they did not have it in stock for a couple more days. All indication on line where it was on its way to me on time. Best Buy and Pacific Sales is a very sleazy operation and cares little about customer service seeing I have to chase them down after many calls and being put on hold for over two hours to the Warehouse which is suppose to have all the answer to what is going on. The Warehouse NEVER answer the phone and the sales rep at the store told me he has the same experience after 5 years of working with them. Save yourself a lot of trouble and go somewhere else that values good service and taking care of their customers. read more

I had the worst customer service experience of my life with this organization. We shopped in this store for 20 min and were ignored by sales team until one finally got off the phone. I understand if you are short staffed but at least acknowledge your customer. We set up the delivery and the delivery team showed up earlier than the arranged time and without the hose hook ups for the washer. They then lied right to my face that another team was coming from a different warehouse with the hoses. Nobody was coming. I called back and was passed to an "escalation mgr". She tried to schedule me for the hose hookup 4 days after the original agreed upon install date. That will not do. I asked for 3 days after at the very most. She said she would check with the warehouse schedule and call me back. No call back. I called again and got another "escalation mgr" who tried to again book me to 4 days out. I said, if you cannot finish what you agreed to by 3 days out, I want a install refund and we will install it ourselves. Finally, she agreed to finish the install at 3 days out. It should not be this hard to get what you paid for. I will never buy another appliance from this organization. read more
