However their basic pedicure did include more than other services. Felt rushed and nothing felt like it was done with much care. The massage chair I sat in was not working. I've been trying nails salons in the neighborhood and I came here one time a couple of days ago. I was able to make an appointment the day of. They didn't seem busy for the duration of my visit. The space isn't the cleanest. The floors were very dusty and they had a lot of storage in sight. For some reason the vibe seemed off, as in not welcoming or warm. It felt tense. What I really didn't like is the set up. They don't do your nails at a table. You just sit in a lounge chair and they sit in front of you. It wasn't comfortable for me. All the nail dust gets everywhere. I got a gel manicure. The nail tech wasn't shaping my nails correctly. I asked her 3 times to straighten them but they still wouldn't be straight. She tried to say it was cuz of the shape. I asked for square with rounded corners. Luckily another nail tech came to help and she made them better but one nail was still so crooked. I just stopped asking. I will say I loved the colors they had. They had some DND colors I haven't seen before. I would come back for the color I got read more

I came in at around 5:30 pm on a weekday. As an Asian guy, that may have had something to do with the quality of the nail care (pedicure, manicure) I received. they may have had a long day--who knows? It felt very rushed--barely 20 minutes. My feet were soaked for about 5-10 minutes total. It woul;dn't have hurt to have had they soaked at least half an hour (to soften the callused dry skin). There was a brief massage. My manicure lasted five minutes. A foot nail clipper was used. Less than a few days later, I had to clip my fingernails myself. The woman who did the treatment did not seem interested and just barely polite. In contrast, the young white teen-agers had their feet soaked for at least 45 minutes (from the time I walked in until the time I actually began to have my pedicure). I think this is discriminatory. When I brought up my calluses on my feet, they were brushed over and barely anything was done, as I distinctly recall. I was given two small cheap hard plastic scrubbers for them when I paid. I definitely would not go back. There have got to be better nail salons for men. read more

JoJe's is a mani/pedi spot, I got a regular pedicure (not shown but excellent) and I got my nails done in gel with a rainbow design for pride! I made my appointment a few days in advance although they do accept walk-ins. I was super pleased with the design and thought it was a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend. If getting a manicure know that you will be sitting with your hands on a pillow (not the traditional tabletop setup). However they do a good job. read more

Waited to be serviced 45 min after my scheduled appointment and the basic pedicure was extremely poor quality. I left with my toe nails crooked and not buffed (I didn't want polish)...I literally had to ask them to go back and file them and the second attempt was rushed. The shop was extremely busy with only 3 workers but they could have been more honest about their availability rather than overbooking. Waste of my time and money. read more

I didn't catch the guy who did my nails today, but he was younger (early 20's) and did a fantastic job on the actual manicure part before the coloring (there were a few slight streaks because I think yellow is tough) I got a gel manicure and based off someone else's review I booked using the RSVme app (promocode ALYSS259 for $5 off). It made it easy for me to directly book and pay online ahead of time. I missed JoJe so much, but after a long wait, they're back and as fantastic as ever. And my nails really needed some love. I usually come in to get a basic gel mani, but their pedis are amazing as well. And honestly, I have yet to find another place that matches them in quality and the price. Plus everyone is so kind and accommodating. I love this place. If you're worried about Covid, JoJe is doing their part to keep their customers safe. They have an outdoor seat, if the customer prefers and is willing to brave our suddenly much chillier weather. There is plexiglass indoors and obviously masks and hand sanitizer everywhere. I saw them disinfecting the chairs and plexiglass after each customer as well. Awesome place with awesome people, so come support this local small business! read more

I parked my car in front of their business and an employee came out to kindly inform me that it was within the street cleaning time window. Very sad with the quality of my gel mani. Regular pedi went fine, tho it's not really a spa experience, they just file you down cut your cuticles and slap on some polish. I was very happy with my gel mani but 4 days later the polish started to crack. So I paid $55 + tip for something that lasted less than a week.
