So glad we stopped! We purchased a smoothie and a loaf of banana mochi bread. Both were great! Friendly, quick service too!

All the other menu items "looked" good and I ordered a coconut fruit water thinking it would be absolutely loaded with fruits but....it was extremely underwhelming. I think if you're gonna use AI generated photos you should at least make the actual product you hand paying customers, look like the photo. I got a huge cup of coconut water with 3 slices of kiwi, some blueberries and a couple slices of strawberry(she told me it would have pineapple but it didn't which was ironic because right across the malasada truck there's always the people selling fresh pineapple). The Dubai chocolate strawberry cup I tried on a different occasion was delicious but honestly that's an item that isn't complicated to make so I wasn't surprised. I also wanted an Açaí bowl but sadly they didn't have that available so I can't say much. Y'all should ditch the fancy drinks. Just sell water and canned juice along side with the real money makers, the MALASADAS. Also ditch the AI menu because at this point it's just false advertising for the photos to look so perfect and the product so underwhelming.

This is the second time we dined at FORC since it changed ownership. We really loved the food on…read morethe new menu and hospitality of the staff, old and new, on our first visit. Our first experience was very good-I'd made reservations online, but there was a glitch, and when we arrived they did not have our reservation. They still accommodated us, and found a table, even with a very full house. The front of the house did this all without making a big deal or a lot of hubbub, and made us feel very welcome. We decided to hold off on a review until we got the chance to go back for a second visit. The food was even more delicious and the staff made the experience even more enjoyable than the first time! We started with the strawberry spinach salad both times. Honestly, I have been thinking about this fresh, beautiful, bright salad since our first visit. I could eat this every single day and still crave it for my next meal. I had the pork chops the first meal-they were rich, and savory without being heavy. My husband had the Korean braised short ribs. They had great Korean/Hawaiian flavors without being too sweet, and were so tender. Tonight we started with the spinach/strawberry salad. I told my husband I would be making all my friends come here to share this salad with me at least twice a week. He ordered the short ribs again, and I had the Ali'i mushroom & spinach ravioli. The consistent quality and flavor of the short ribs from our first visit was exactly what my husband ways hoping for. Perfect balance of sweet and savory, and so tender. My ravioli was a perfect balance of earthy flavors, texture, and herbal sweetness. I promised myself that I would not eat too much, so I would have something to take home. I kept that promise, but just barely. The roasted shaved garlic, eggplant, tomatoes, zucchini and Ali'i mushrooms with the soft spinach and cheese ravioli was delightful. I could have eaten every bite, and the portions are very generous, but I wanted to savory the flavors one more day. We both saved small portions of our leftovers for tomorrow. I also want to make mention of the warm, welcome and great service from all the staff. Our server was Dillon. He was attentive and welcoming to every table. He was relaxed, friendly, and lighthearted. And the bartender who has been there for many years, made sure drinks were served and plates were cleared. It was a really lovely evening, with great food, amazing people, and community that appreciate the hard work of everyone involved. Thanks for a really lovely evening, FORC.

The flavor wasn't kicking nor was it really that spicy at all. BBQ Sampler Plate w/ fries & grilled pineapple $37.95 - Good price point for a sampler. We've eaten a ton of BBQ around the US and the brisket was one of my favorites. The ribs had a sweetness I really enjoyed. Reuben Spring Rolls $16 - Not pictured but loved them! Chocolate Cake $12 - Since it was my actual birthday, my partner wanted to get me a slice of cake but boy are they huge. It was absolutely delicious but we had to take it to go. I would recommend they have smaller slices as eating a ton of BBQ and devouring a huge slice of cake is due for a heart attack. Ambiance 5/5 Got a nice table by the window minus the horsefly. Service 3/5 The lady who sat us and took our drink orders is extremely sweet and friendly. Our service was just okay, she didn't really add to our experience as if there was something on her mind.

We were welcomed with the friendliest staff with big smiles on their face right when we walked in. We were kind of hungry after a long day coming from Hilo, so we ordered Kimchee pastrami sandwich and a watermelon refresher type drink with popping boba. The drink was very refreshing! The sandwich was DELICIOUS like a premium panini sandwich that came with what tasted like Maui onion kettle chips. Perfect combo! Told the owner I wanted to try their house made boba & because we came all the way from Hilo, she was able to give me a sample of what they had left since it wasn't enough to add to my drink. So thoughtful! I wanted to re-visit and try their hand made boba before we left the big island. We came back the following Friday and ordered butterfly pea type drink with fresh boba, tuna melt and an croffle that came with fresh Ube dipping cream on the side. Everything was great! Ambiance was calm, not too crazy. They had about 3 tables with a couple chairs for indoor seating and board games. I would definitely come back if I return to the big island!
