Stopped in for an afternoon treat and we were not disappointed. This is a small truck parked in front of a grocery store, was hard to find at first but we are glad we turned around and went back to find it. Shave ice tasted great. We got 2 with macadamia nut ice cream in the middle and one without. Was great they could accommodate a dairy allergy. We even asked for a plain bowl on shave ice for the dog we were with for the day and it was accommodated without any hesitation. I was driving through Poipu when a mysterious tropical breeze whispered, "Ube..." and that's when I saw it: The Good Stuff shave ice... as I approached, a rooster bowed respectfully as if he knew what I was about to experience. I ordered the Ube shave ice with condensed milk drizzle on top. One bite in and I momentarily forgot my name and all of my responsibilities.. as it hit my taste buds, I saw a new color never seen before. It was a frozen miracle. The condensed milk drizzle? I blacked out for a second from happiness. Pretty sure I ascended to a higher dimension, and was cradled by the Ube gods themselves. When I came to, my bowl was empty, joyful tears of Ube and condensed milk ran down my face. I would never be the same. It was the Beyoncé of desserts. The one your future therapist asks about when they're trying to understand the turning point in your life. The owner? A ray of sunshine in human form.
