This place is where the Satellite Don Quixote was located. Been eyeing this place for a while and finally made a visit after craving meat but not for the usual Korean bbq. Didn't realize until we made a visit but seems to be a chain from Korea. I believe this place is still fairly new, maybe a year? Their specialties are pig's trotter and boiled pork wraps. They have a combo to order half and half of each, which is perfect to satisfy both my husband's and my liking. We both walked in claiming that we weren't that "hungry" but was surprised how clean tasting the meat was and by the fresh sides. With pork, it's hard to rid the meat smell but it didn't have any of that and was super tender. On top of that, service was awesome (seems to be family run?) and we were jamming to 90s Korean music that it lifted our Xmas spirits. This is now a new favorite spot! The only thing that I'm disappointed in is that this place is only located where it's at off Satellite Blvd just north of Steve Reynolds. Next to the GopChang On Fire restaurant, if you don't want intestines, then your other option is that have pig trotters and pork belly. This is not one to come to if you want to eat alone as they are pretty pricey in terms of what they offer so this is a place to come to with lots of people instead of by yourself. This is the epitome of Korean street food!!! Pig trotters or pork hock is a fantastic thing to eat as it's flavorful, gelatinous, and meaty all in one bite while the pork belly is served boiled and sliced as opposed to grilled like we all know in terms of Korean BBQ. But this place does not do that. This is also another method of cooking as many Koreans do it. Definitely love the fact that they offer take out and dine-in post Corona and the fact that they offer the Bo-Jok set which is Bo Sahm (pork belly) and Jok Bahl (pig trotter) and give it to you in an epic combination. No pork smell at all - i.e., I've had pork belly at other places where it has a strong pig flavor. This place doesn't have that at all. The place looks fairly new - they're located in the former Don Quixote space. The restaurant signage is all in Korean so you'll have to rely on your GPS and/or refer to the "restaurant front" photo on their Yelp page. BOILED PORK WRAPS (BOSSAM) - $39.99 (large) Their bossam tasted good - however the really tasty stuff is the accompaniments. They had marinated sesame leaves or lettuce for the wrap, and scallions, white kimchi and kimchi to go w/ the pork. Both kimchi was so good. Their radish kimchi was the best I ever had. They have dipping sauces too. PIG'S TROTTERS MILD/HOT HALF & HALF - $44.99 (large) You can also do wraps with the pig's trotters. The meat has an interesting texture - cartilage?? Apparently trotters have a lot of collagen too which is good for your skin. The hot version has a tasty sauce but warning, it's very spicy! RICE BALLS & STEAMED EGG - $5.99 This is worth getting - it's a good filler too. The rice balls are DIY and plastic gloves are provided. The steamed egg was soooo good and portion was generous too - perfect food during cold weather. BULGOGI GIM Another good comfort food when it's cold outside, and an option for non-pork eaters. I've been here two times now and both experiences were great! The first time I was here, I ordered the bossam and steamed egg + rice ball combo. The bossam was pretty good, it was very clean tasting and i absolutely loved all the sides it came with: two types of kimchi, perilla leaf, romaine lettuce, and a ton of different sauces. The last time I was here, we ordered the regular pigs feet and spicy pigs feet combination. I had never had pigs feet before and I was a bit nervous about trying it but i was pleasantly surprised at how delicious it was! The pigs feet was tender and super delicious when wrapped in the perilla leaves with kimchi on top. The spicy jokbal was also really yummy it had that same kind of spice that you would have a chicken place (yangyam chicken). We also ordered a couple bottles of soju since we were celebrating a friends birthday. I highly recommend the grape soju and we also tried the apple soju which was also really good. This place specializing in korean style steamed pork belly and trotters. Their menu is very basic, but delicious. I was told the owners are very clean and only make what's necessary for the day. If they make too much, they don't reuse it at the restaurant the next day. The food is excellent and comes with various wraps for the meat. The kimchi is fresh and made to order. The first time I was there I got complimentary bean sprout soup which was refreshing. I personally would stick to the meat, my preference is for the pork belly. I have severe shellfish and seafood allergies. I always read a menu thoroughly before ordering and there were no disclaimers regarding using seafood products in their sauces. We ordered a special #2. My boyfriend was wise enough to mention my allergy. The server kept having to run back and forth to the chef to figure out what I could eat. Finally the chef herself came out and told us what I could eat. I could only eat the raw vegetables, pork belly, and a single sauce, really freaking disappointing. They serve their entrees on a unique platter where they burn a gel like substance below to keep the platter hot throughout your entire meal, which definitely enhances the taste and dining experience. They have a plethora of side dishes that complement the meat very well and multiples kinds of kimchi. We had the tofu and bossam combo. The bossam was sliced a lot thinner than what is typical but the flavor was still great and the meat was not over cooked. We also ordered the joomukbab (hand rice balls), this was a fun entree because they gave us plastic gloves to make our own rice balls. There was an issue with our food while we were dining that made us feel very uncomfortable but the servers responded quickly and appropriately. They were apologetic and switched out our food which made the situation a lot better. These situations are not easy and often leave customers very upsetting, but we applaud the staff for their customer service and helping us enjoy our meal despite what happened. read more

So I occasionally enjoy eating pork (Bacon and good Bossam) and this place blew my mind. This used to be another Korean snack place that I occasionally like to order their kimbaps. The menu is on the wall and it's straight to the point. They serve pig's trotter and bossam - that's their main entree and you can order some side dishes (steamed eggs, rice balls and some other soup). We order the Bossam + Pig's Trotter's Set in large ($49.99), which was plentiful for 3 hungry adults. It comes with fresh unlimited banchan (Korean side dishes) which are my new favorites. I can't remember them all unfortunately. It comes with 2 set of sauces (sweet soy and shrimp dipping sauce), I prefer the sweet soy as the shrimp was too salty for me. The bossam is served over a table top gel burner to keep it warm and from drying out! I haven't seen a place that does that in GA yet! I like the fat to ratio meat because that's important. The trotters came out in a huge pile on a platter and I thought it was filled with sliced trotters, but at the bottom was a surprise! It's has pig's feet with some meat still attached for gnawing later on. Don't be shy, this is part of the experience! On a cold winter day in Atlanta, I was searching for something that would warm up the heart and soul. Yelp suggested this place. Walking in, instantly greeted by friendly servers. Place was new and clean. Big enough place to accommodate groups as well. They advertise that they only prepare and put out fresh jokbal (made to order - quantity limited, so call ahead if you're getting there later at night) and they did not disappoint. They offer small, medium, & large portions of jokbal. Small and large on bossam. They offer couple of noodle dishes, beef bulgogi hotpot dish for those who can't get over eating pork trotters. The half regular jokbal and spicy jokbal dish became my instant favorite! You can totally taste the careful preparations they put in their food. Jokbal had no foul smells. It was fresh and tasty. The marinade was special. The aromatic herbs with delectable flavors of the marinade made chewy, gelatinous pork trotter dance in my mouth! The spicy flavor is very HOT! Only try them if you're able to handle the inferno in your mouth and stomach (not to mention the aftermath in the W.C). However, the heat will make you sweat all the stress toxins away! I have been meaning to check out their spicy jokbal forever and finally got to do takeout during covid. The food was done very solid, very good. We ordered the bossam where the meat had a little too many bones that were not that chewable but still tasty good. And of course we ordered the spicy and non spicy jokbal which was amazingly done. The spicy jokbal even had a chargrilled flavor added to it, making it even tastier. The jokbal itself was comparable to well rated jokbal restaurants in Korea. You don't get as much variety in the side dishes doing take out but nonetheless the kimchi, pickled sesame leaves, pickled napa cabbage and fresh slightly seasoned chives along with the fresh jalapeños and garlic were a good accompaniment to the meat. Can't wait to go in to dine in once this is all over. For takeout, they even placed a warm bag of water underneath the meat to maintain the temperature which was a great touch. read more

Went there on two different occasions. Both times their menu was supposedly sold out. This was before 9pm. Never have I seen this place pack beforehand. Parking lot is usually pack because of the restaurant beside called gopchang. I'm not sure if this is just a marketing scheme where they limit on the amount they make per day to make the customer crave and want more. It's just annoying. Everything seem to be good until one of the servers (one without the glass was the worst / there was only two servers) ruined it. Service was really bad even we were the only one table. They kept forgetting refiling our side dishes because they were so busy chit chatting. We added more ppl and added more orders but they did not bring out side dishes when they supposed to.
